None of the others I reached out to had the foresight that AAA Chimney Experts had. AAA is all about quality, prevention, and minimal aggravation for the consumer. They may or may not always have a good schedule for you- it's hit or miss as it seems that way with most businesses in the construction field. Price from prior was reasonable and I would've probably gone with this company this time around, but my request was somewhat more timely than before.

Because of this, I kept calling around and found someone who could do it sooner and they had a better price, so I went with them. When I called him back to cancel (with over 10 days until our appointment) he got mad and asked why I was canceling, and then proceeded to say, "you know what I'm not going to fight for this [appointment], if this guy wants to cancel then fine." And then he hung up on me. Obviously a real professional. I would suggest you look elsewhere. UPDATE: in reply to the comment below; I was not mad about availability, two weeks out was reasonable. The issue I had was the uncertainty they had that they could "probably get out to me in two weeks." "Probably" doesn't help anybody. So even though we had a date on the books, it seemed very uncertain. This is why I kept looking for other options. I called to cancel with plenty of time to give them a heads up, but the response I got was rude, and yes, they hung up on me. If they were in the field and could not talk then they could 1) not answer and take a message, or 2) let me know that they were currently occupied. Instead they asked why I was cancelling and as I was trying to answer them they interrupted me and rudely said "I'm not going to fight for this, if this guy wants to cancel then fine" and then hung up on me. Rude from beginning to end. If they didn't want to do the sweep job they should have said so, that would have been fine. But to reluctantly take the job and then treat a booked customer like that is ridiculous. It's correct I never received service from them, nor would I want to now. Their work may be top notch, but I didn't have a decent interaction with them during any of the calls. They're rude and they obviously don't see how they treat the people they speak with.

He was very knowledgeable with older homes that have stone & mortar foundation and I can tell he has been doing this for a long time. I had a full basement overhaul starting with a new sump pump installed, to my walls being wire brush and getting new concrete parging, waterproofing inside as well as outside on one side of the wall and had 4 support support removed and new ones installed. As for his staff, I got to meet Lorenzo's & Darren's teams. They were very professional, came on time and very knowledgeable of the entire project. They made sure the areas were kept cleaned and covered anything that needed to be covered. If they came across any issue it was address immediately. Communication with the company was prompt, exceptional and professional. I am very happy and satisfied with everything that was done in my basement. Eric is very friendly and collaborative, coming out to the house any time we wanted to talk through logistics, and he was generally quick to respond to emails and texts, sometimes writing back late into the evening. We found the same attention and responsiveness from everyone we worked with from Ironclad, including Mike, Perry, and John. Although not cheap, Ironclad is worth the price tag. The work they did was great, and despite the fact that it took a while (often limited by snow and other uncontrollable weather circumstances) we are extremely happy with the final results. I'm also happy to say we have not had any leaks since Ironclad replaced our two roofs. We will definitely use them again in the future and strongly recommend them.
