We recently purchased a new house, which in this market means no inspections and no contingencies. Just a few days after signing an agreement of sale, we visited the property again for a walk through. When I went into the basement, I noticed there was a large puddle on top of the wood stove in our basement. I called Premiere Chimney Service and spoke to Kate and explained my situation. Her recommendation was to have someone come out and complete a sweep on the 2nd chimney stack and they would be able to inspect the leaking chimney stack at the same time. Long story short, we made our settlement on 4/20 and I had someone here on 4/22 to clean the chimney and investigate the leak problem. Danny the tech was great to work with and listened to all of my concerns. He completed a thorough cleaning of both chimneys and gave me what I thought was a fair estimate based on the work being performed. From my experience this company was not trying to push for work that was really not needed. For instance, I questioned why we wouldn't replace the chimney caps with new stainless ones to match the chase cover and the answer was simple... "They really don't need to be replaced" I have provided before and after pictures which speak for the quality of performed. They even filled some holes from woodpeckers and other birds on my wood siding while they were up on the roof. I would highly recommend these folks and plan to use them for yearly cleanings and maintenance. Best of all this is a small family-owned business which is just another reason to give them your support. It's more about customer satisfaction and building relationships as opposed to meeting sales quotas. I plan to use these folks yearly going forward. Give them a shot, you will not be disappointed... The crew showed genuine concern and care for the fact we had a two-month old baby in the house, and had the equipment and manpower to get a stainless steel liner and new furnace/heater vents installed w an airtight seal.
