I had an excellent first experience at this range. As a new firearm owner with no prior experience,…read moreI opted for a brief instructional session. My instructor was patient, professional, and reassuring. He emphasized safety at every step, encouraged questions, and made sure I never felt rushed. After each round, he reviewed my performance and offered clear helpful guidance. I left feeling confident and informed. The range itself was welcoming and well run. The reason why I have it at four stars is because it was very hot in the room that I was handling my firearm in if you're thinking of being in there for long periods of time, just expect to leave there very sweaty and sticky, and I was offered ear and eye protection by the range itself, but once I actually walked into the range, it was very loud not sure if the ear protections are cheaply made or if it's the fact of it being indoors, but I felt like I needed double protection which I will make sure to do next time for sure.

I think it's appropriate to bulletpoint this one:…read more *Staff - lax. That is never a good look. And I am not saying that they all were, but if you're the first impression and handing out intake forms at a shooting range, you better look and sound like you take your job, or at least your tasks, seriously. And there is a reason why I am bringing this up first. *Safety - I am happy to be alive to write this because some careless !#@&$ in lane 2 decided to aim her fmj-loaded pistol sideways trying to fix a jam, ready to take out everyone from lane 2 to 10. It was another customer who called the cease fire but someone who worked there should have seen that. Someone from the range came out eventually but I would have made that person watch the video again or ejected them from place at my discretion. I do not play! *Sound - This was the loudest indoor range ever. My friend and I felt like we had to put inner earplugs and then over-the-ear earplugs. *Target retrieval system - kind of janky. Every time I recalled my target, the paper would fly into my face. *Pricing - reasonable but they have things to improve to really make it worth it.

520 Tactical - It's probably been six months since I've been to the range so I'm not too sad about this, but clearly I'll be making a few more visits!

I was always told this place is ran by power tripping ranger masters. My first trip here and I…read moredidnt see that. They do have some rules a little excessive in my opinion, but hey- they're all about the safety; cant be mad at that. As long as you're safe and willing to follow the rules, you'll have a good time. Some of the clientele was a little snobby thou. The guy next to me with a single shot 22 was constantly complaining about "all the brass" from my rifle. I guess no one should have a 30 rounder, And yes my rifle spits brass far. It's a gun range dude, stop your crying. He tried to puff his little chest... really? At a place where everyone is armed? You want to start a argument? That tells me all I need to k ow about you. So- watch out for these types of folks here; haven't ran into this at any other range, was odd. A couple other people seemed put off by another guy with a Kalashnikov... again; public gun range people, stop crying. The range its self was very clean and alot of staff. Made it a little easier to keep watch over my family shooting with the officials watching everyone to make sure no one was getting crazy/dangerous. I would easily say if you know how standard firearm safety, the right kind of safety, how to correctly handle a firearm, and you're familiar with basic range rules, it wont be to big of a stretch for you here. Its WAY closer than any other outdoor range for me, unless you count wildcat type... not for me anymore.
