Two hours go by really quick when you are having so much fun. You can stay as long as you want during the open hours with the one-day pass. The safety instructors are very nice and they can also provide instructions if you are new to this like I am. LOL. They have 12 lanes and two people at each station. Bring your own ammunition and weapon/gun since they don't provide one. Great location with stunning views of the mountains in the background.

Safety is everyone's responsibility-don't be afraid to speak up. Party next to me was not respecting muzzle discipline of their shotguns and became annoyed when I mentioned it. Afterward two fellow shooters thanked me. Communicate if you need a cease fire to go down range - people are cooperative. There are holes in the shade structure so mishaps do occur. There's also a RC flying field across the way if you or guests need a distraction. There are port-potty's available.

After each round, he reviewed my performance and offered clear helpful guidance. I left feeling confident and informed. The range itself was welcoming and well run. The reason why I have it at four stars is because it was very hot in the room that I was handling my firearm in if you're thinking of being in there for long periods of time, just expect to leave there very sweaty and sticky, and I was offered ear and eye protection by the range itself, but once I actually walked into the range, it was very loud not sure if the ear protections are cheaply made or if it's the fact of it being indoors, but I felt like I needed double protection which I will make sure to do next time for sure.

A couple other people seemed put off by another guy with a Kalashnikov... again; public gun range people, stop crying. The range its self was very clean and alot of staff. Made it a little easier to keep watch over my family shooting with the officials watching everyone to make sure no one was getting crazy/dangerous. I would easily say if you know how standard firearm safety, the right kind of safety, how to correctly handle a firearm, and you're familiar with basic range rules, it wont be to big of a stretch for you here. Its WAY closer than any other outdoor range for me, unless you count wildcat type... not for me anymore.

Not cheap but certainly cheaper than buying all that stuff yourself. I am glad they require hearing protection because it is LOUD. Do yourself a favor and get some disposable ear plugs to double the protection. Next door you can purchase ammunition which is nice and convenient especially if you're trying out multiple guns of different calibers. Definitely will be back again for a Ladies Night!
