They also have weekly activities and seasonal events for elementary school kids. My granddaughter calls Briar Bush "The Animal House" and loves to put a donation in the collection box before we leave.

She was knowledgeable of all the animals and patient and made sure all of the children got a turn petting all the animals, feeding and holding the goats. Unfortunately, my granddaughter didn't get a chance to pick up a baby goat because after feeding it, it snuggled up next to her put its head on her lap and fell asleep; my granddaughter didn't want to disturb it. (don't remember if it was male or female). It was priceless! There was so much that we learned about the animals! It was a great experience. I would highly recommend it and plan to return. We were looking online at 'activity' farms (animal husbandry-horseback riding-bees, etc) in the…read morelocal area and came upon the Rose Bridge Farm. Rose Bridge is a sanctuary and working farm on land once owned by William Penn. Since 2013, the farm has become a 'forever home' for over 300 animals. Many of the animals are rescues from dairy farms, livestock auctions or other scenarios where they were at risk. They have several different activities, we opted for the Farm Fest, which combined several of the activities. The Farm Fest includes a mini farm animal husbandry tour, baby animal cuddling time, hands on craft activity, a beverage bar and an outdoor fire pit. It lasts about 2 hours. There were many parents there with children, but also adults like us by themselves. There are two times - 4-6 and 6:30-8:30. We went on the 4:00 tour. It was great! It was very interesting hearing how the animals came to the farm - it was so heartwarming to hear the stories of saving so many animals. However, I wasn't expecting the 'cuddling time' to be so much fun. We started with the goats - so friendly! They were nuzzling and 'pawing' us - I sat down and several came to me and wanted to be rubbed or held. I even had an opportunity to feed a baby goat its milk bottle! We interacted with pigs, sheep, a beautiful thoroughbred horse and a donkey! It was a very special experience! Afterwards we all went to a large barn and made crafts - specifically little planters we decorated, added dirt and seeds (large selection of flowers and vegetables seeds) to take home as a little souvenir. We had a dinner reservation so we left before the fire pit activity. Overall, it was a wonderful experience to be with these farm animals and to support such a worthwhile project.

Instead they direct you to them in the park and don't even know they're closed until you go back to the front desk to ask. Then the answer is "they're understaffed" which,to me, means the park knew in the first place. The large aerial zipline was closed, the taller walk the plank was closed and the toxic meltdown also closed . The attendant at the walk the plank worker mumbled something about "a piece missing from the taller one" after saying it was open and then checking. If you're understaffed wouldn't it make more sense to cycle the zipline crew to the closed ones so the paying customers can get what they paid for and go on everything? Everyone just seemed clueless about things being closed. That being said, the open stuff was fun.

Ultrazone has changed over the years. I hung out here way too often while in high school much…read morelonger than I'd care to recall. Recently, I had a chance to take my nephews for a few hours. The laser tag arena is the main focus. Some of the rules have changed, but the basics remain. It didn't take long for me to recall the do's and don't and enjoy the 15 minute sessions. At some point after my high school days, it seems they acquired the place next store and expanded their arcade portion. I think they had a fighting game or two way back. Now they have a wide selection of games which generate tickets which you can trade for prizes. Not really my thing, but certainly one way to keep folks busy while waiting for the next game. Prices are reasonable. Parking is easy. My nephews loved it. Overall, a good way to spend an afternoon that might get kids moving a bit more than other options.
