Had a great time at Rosebridge. We did Piglet Cuddling and the Farm tour and met so many friendly animals.

We were looking online at 'activity' farms (animal husbandry-horseback riding-bees, etc) in the local area and came upon the Rose Bridge Farm. Rose Bridge is a sanctuary and working farm on land once owned by William Penn. Since 2013, the farm has become a 'forever home' for over 300 animals. Many of the animals are rescues from dairy farms, livestock auctions or other scenarios where they were at risk. They have several different activities, we opted for the Farm Fest, which combined several of the activities. The Farm Fest includes a mini farm animal husbandry tour, baby animal cuddling time, hands on craft activity, a beverage bar and an outdoor fire pit. It lasts about 2 hours. There were many parents there with children, but also adults like us by themselves. There are two times - 4-6 and 6:30-8:30. We went on the 4:00 tour. It was great! It was very interesting hearing how the animals came to the farm - it was so heartwarming to hear the stories of saving so many animals. However, I wasn't expecting the 'cuddling time' to be so much fun. We started with the goats - so friendly! They were nuzzling and 'pawing' us - I sat down and several came to me and wanted to be rubbed or held. I even had an opportunity to feed a baby goat its milk bottle! We interacted with pigs, sheep, a beautiful thoroughbred horse and a donkey! It was a very special experience! Afterwards we all went to a large barn and made crafts - specifically little planters we decorated, added dirt and seeds (large selection of flowers and vegetables seeds) to take home as a little souvenir. We had a dinner reservation so we left before the fire pit activity. Overall, it was a wonderful experience to be with these farm animals and to support such a worthwhile project. read more

I went here with my friends and had the most amazing time! The staff were incredibly kind, respectful, and helpful throughout the entire tour we had there. The animals were all too cute! My friend booked the tickets, so I thought we were only feeding goats, but we got a tour of the entire farm and got to interact with a lot of their rescues/residents there. The animals all appeared to be well taken care of and happy, which is the most important part. I 100% recommend buying a ticket and making the trip out to visit. Worth every penny :) read more

We went for farm fest at 4pm Sat. We were excited for animal interactions. I had a toddler and an infant with me (kids were free) and we were part of a medium size group. The place is welcoming and there are a few people caring for the animals. The event when downhill when the craft was done within ten mins and there were only a few cats to interact with, the drinks were not prepared, and we were told we had to wait in the loft for close to an hour. When we got to the barn - it was another 40m probably of playing with the free roaming animals and other groups shuffling. To the point I asked what was happening to one of the guides. The barn was not clean at all. By 5:15p when our tour started some of the animals were put away and food diminished for the tour! Plus the tour guide just commented how all the animals misbehave and she was terrified of them. So, we learned very little about the animals themselves. We were left with 20m of roaming time after the tour in which we just left to go home disappointed. This experience left a pretty bad taste in my mouth even though I wanted to interact with the animals and learn about them. Would not recommend to others. read more

I had a terrific experience taking a tour with Natalie on a beautiful spring evening. Rose Bridge Farm is a special place to spend some time learning about the animals that are fortunate to live there - some of which have been rescued from not so great situations. From giving a snack to Buddy the friendly vocal sheep, to bottle feeding the adorable baby goats, my visit to Rose Bridge Farm was a great escape from the noise and commotion going on in the outside world. It is well worth making a reservation on the website to visit. There are also special activities to sign up for ranging from making a succulent "wall" to hiking with the lovely hiking goats in Wissahickon Park. Some yoga with the baby goats also sounds like a real treat and challenge to try one day. read more

We had so much fun meeting and loving all the animals here. That's the first time I've ever bottle fed a baby goat and it won't be my last. We are really excited to go back, especially for the goat hiking! I wasn't expecting to see camels but was pleasantly surprised as Godiva extended her little velvet nose for a kiss. Thank you to all the hard workers that keep this place going and give these animals a comfortable, loving place to call home. What an amazing experience it was visiting this sanctuary for animals. I attended an event with friends where we got to pet the goats and sheep before creating our own succulent terrarium and scented candle. It was such a cool time. The staff are very kind and I love how they care for the animals. Wear clothes you don't mine if it gets chewed on, as the goats like to chew anything that's hanging, shirts, bottom of your shorts, shoe laces, hair. Too cute. It's such a nice experience. Go on their website and look for other events or just book to tour the place. You won't be disappointed. read more

I feel like a jerk writing this because, after all, it is an animal sanctuary, but people need to be aware that the "piglets" that are available for cuddling sessions, are much larger than those that are advertised on the website (photo attached). My guess is the two we "cuddled" with were at least 40 pounds and they did not "cuddle" at all. They did walk around looking for food in a pen that was littered with pig crap while we stood there wondering why we paid $100 for this experience. Not to mention we didn't get escorted to the pen by staff until 15 minutes after our agreed upon start time and then shared the pen with two other people despite it being advertised as "private." We jokingly said it was false advertising and the couple that approached the pen shortly afterward to join us said the exact same thing as they got close. So yes, great that there's an animal sanctuary but as far as this particular paid experience, complete waste of money and not as advertised at all. read more

Such a cute little farm..a hidden gem! I brought both my kids and they had a great time. We got to make our own succulent plants and candles, which was such a fun and creative activity for all of us. One of the highlights was the adorable kitten café..they served us lemonade while two playful kittens ran around keeping us company. Just a heads up if you're visiting the farm area.. watch out for the cow poo! It's a working farm after all, so wear shoes you don't mind getting a little dirty. What a great experience. Found this place on Yelp, read some reviews, and booked it immediately while passing through town. Was lucky enough to grab the last 2 tickets available for the husbandry experience. We fed adult goats & baby goats, got up close & personal to pet sheep/cows/chickens, saw horses/cows/camels/roosters/peacocks/piggies, and even met the resident cat & dog. Best part---we walked around taking turns holding a 2 week old baby goat, snuggly, soft, and absolutely adorable in its little sweater. Love the fact that these are rescue animals, some with special needs living out their best lives at this sanctuary. Zero regrets. 100% will take another trip specifically for this again. read more

What a cute little farm located in Ambler! We went for their succulent class and also got to make a scented candle and hang with the animals. Those goats are something else. Be sure to wear older clothes and tie your hair back if it's long because they love to nibble on everything! They offer all kinds of experiences including goat yoga, feedings, and craft classes. There is only a porta potty onsite so be prepared. Definitely a fun experience for animal lovers of all ages. read more

Once we found the little cute farm, our chaperone was really nice and thorough in making sure we had the best experience! She made sure that each of us in the group had a chance with all of the animals. She also introduced us to some of her favorites and shared so much about her experience with each of the animals. Overall, I'd like to believe my friends and I had a great experience! The only thing I can say is that one of the staff members was upset towards us for some reason. We scheduled a cow cuddling session too but when we got there, we let the staff know and when it came time to it, I guess everyone forget and our chaperone tried to fit us in a later session but that particular staff member was just upset with us and explained there is no later session so in the end, we weren't able to cuddle cows. I'd like to give the staff member the benefit of the doubt but it did leave my friends and I confused and comprehensive about coming back. However, we might think about it because our chaperone was just the absolute best. read more

An amazing farm and sanctuary with friendly staff and fantastic animals! I never realized there was a farm sanctuary so close to where I reside and I simply had to go when I found out. I went on a Sunday morning with my fiancé and we found the entrance to the place fairly easily. The parking is a little tight but easily manageable. Once parked, we signed in and got a bracelet. We hung out with tons of rescue goats, piglets, chickens, and donkeys. The star of the show is definitely Buddy the Ram who jumps and gives a paw! It truly is a lovely place and the little shop has a wide array of items that are well priced! You might get lucky and even see some of the cats! 100/10 would recommend and I definitely plan to go again soon!! read more

Through the husbandry package which is around $25 per person, we were able to get a full tour of the farm, pet, cuddle and bottle feed the animals AND we were able to feed camels which was so unexpected! Everything about this place is amazing!! The staff were wonderful, the goats were beyond interactive (wear an old shirt!) the pigs were adoptably cute (but get to 200 lbs!) and the facilities are outstanding. We tried to explain difference to our daughter like this - the staff work for the animals as opposed to the animals working at a petting zoo. So bizarre - they really need to clean and take care of their property - we paid $80 and were literally shoved into a nook of a barn with 3 people and didn't even have room to stand / sit properly and had to crouch down to crawl in the cubby - there was no room for the goats to move so we just sat there and let them pee and poop all over us (because there was absolutely 0 floor space - maybe 3 ft wide by 6 ft long for 3 people - unbelievable really ..... they need to properly clean the barn - 100s of flies because it was just not properly managed at all and we aren't shy of farm life - (we also drove over two hours given good reviews and website looked cute) to be disappointed. Get metal fencing - section off some zones in the bigger grass area and have some hay bails or benches to sit on and rotate the goats. Muck the barns properly. Get organized - so people want to return. read more

What a fun experience! My kiddo was turning 4 and since most things are closed, we found this baby animal experience! $25 per adult and $5 per kid -- totally worth it! Finding it was a little tricky -- I think maybe the sign had fallen down? But then we drove up the long driveway and saw animals and knew we'd found it. We started off in the barn with a couple other families -- everyone masked except the tiniest kids. Windows and doors open, so plenty of fresh air. So. Many. Goats. Soft and cuddly and cute!! They jumped around and skipped and hopped and butted heads and nibbled at shoelaces. We fed them bottles, which they downed enthusiastically, and then they got snuggly and chill. Cosmo is the littlest one and I was a big fan of his. All the goats are up for adoption, and let me tell you, they are pretty tempting!! There was a small room with kittens (one family at a time) and the owner also brought out baby chicks for us to hold! Outside the barn we fed horses, sheep, and rams. There were also donkeys to brush and a pig named Daisy, who was thoroughly enjoying a pumpkin. Dress warmly if you go in the winter, but still go! read more

My Family and I visited Rose Bridge on a chilly Saturday in February. We punched the Farm's address in google maps and drove right past it - it's entrance is inconspicuous. When you enter there are various parking areas and signage telling you where to specifically park. We made reservations online ahead of time online for the Public Section of the baby rescued farm animal feeding and snuggles. This was $25 per person and could be paid online. When we arrived we had to fill out waivers, we were then lead into a barn where were could interact with goats and two pigs. Here you were able to bottle feed some of the goats. Next you were taken to an area to look at some other rescued animals - chickens, ducks, a camel and some other birds. Next we were able to feed horses and sheep through the fence. Having food in hand, the animals happily approached us, creating a very cool interactive experience. Lastly we were able to hold and feed tiny baby goats. This was the highlight for us. The goats were very friendly and happily held. There was also a small room with cats (available for adoption) and an outdoor pen for a few baby cows. Rose Bridge provides a beautiful Sanctuary for rescued farm animals and an amazing hands on experience for the public. read more
