You pay three dollars at the entrance park at your own risk. Bring your own tools pull your own part, bags get searched at entrance and exit. You are able to go in and out if you please. Wheelbarrels are available if needed. Part expensive so try to come on a day that is a half off day or something. Note, you can ask the front cashier or the attendant for a printout of the type of vehicle/vehicles you are looking for and they'll give you a map legend to make it easier for you to find

On May 5, 2025 my car of 13 years finally died. Both the engine & transmission were shot. Two months prior, I had already been warned this was going to happen. As a result, I had already looked around to junk my car. My mother-in-law recommended Pick Your Part. Online: The website is not very clear on the process of what happens AFTER you get a quote online. For example, it doesn't say if they'll contact you to pick up the vehicle or if you need to call them for next steps. Phone call: I had to call them to figure out the next steps for picking up my car since their website was weird. The person on the call was somewhat helpful in the sense that they were able to confirm a pick up time for my car. However, they weren't really explaining what they were doing since they started asking me questions about my car again, even though I had already done the quote online. Day of pick up: Eventually, from the phone call, I was finally able to schedule a pick up for June 10, 2025. The day of, they called me to re-confirm my vehicle pickup & said they were on their way. It took about an hour for the tow truck driver to arrive to the location. Immediately, the driver confirmed the vehicle, & checked if it had its catalytic converter (which it did). He then gave me paperwork to fill out, I handed over my title. Within 15 mins. I was given a check by the driver, with paperwork of the exchange. Driver was professional & quick. Final thoughts: Overall, I was satisfied with their service & I would probably use them again. Especially, as the day of pick up went smoother than I anticipated considering the reviews I saw online. However, their online & phone service could be improved.

All makes are mixed together. Definitely use the app to find your vehicle before coming here

I haven't been to this place since early last year. It has gotten worse. Based on my extensive experience with going to this location and most of the other ones in Southern California, before and after LKQ bought all of them, this review will be focused on providing tips, based on experience and observation. Gone are the make sections (GM/Ford/Chrysler Dodge/Import) and type section (Trucks/Vans). Now, everything is mixed here. So you must use the app to find your make/model/year, easily. Otherwise, finding a particular vehicle here is like finding a needle in a haystack. Everything is mixed. No more 50% or 40% off Holiday discount days that went on prior to 2020. The pandemic been over for years. Yet the Holiday discount days have never been brought back. This place is usually windy and dusty as hell. Wear a face mask, goggles or eye protection, ear protection, etc. Otherwise you will risk consumption of that stuff. Also, if you don't want to carry all the dust to your vehicle, wear some form of temporary clothing or protective clothing that can be discarded or is separate from your regular clothing. Because you will be filthy once you leave this place. Entry fee is $5 a pop. Back in the day it was $2. I used to go to a view junk yards on the same day. Then it went to $3. That wasn't that bad of an increase. Now it's a whopping $5. So you better make sure that they have multiple vehicles of your year/make/model/body style. So you wont come here for nothing. Because most of their vehicles are almost gutted by personnel before available publicly. Ive actually watched employees put out vehicles and prevent the public from touching them until a group of personnel or their buddies take stuff off the top. Usually outside mirrors, tires, wheels, center caps. Cashiers don't accept modern electronic pay options (ApplePay, etc). Just cash, credit, or debit card. Also, most don't ask for ID when using your credit card. So be sure not to drop it on ground and lose it. Because if someone finds it, they may be able to use it fraudulently. As most cashiers wont ask for IDs Cashiers will nickel and dime you for everything. If you pull any type of lamp (headlight, taillight, 3rd brake light, etc), remove everything (nuts, bolts, push pins, bulbs, pigtails, wiring, etc.). Otherwise they will charge you for everything. I swear. The cashiers will consistently smack on the bs warranty prices. Warranty may be worth it if you are buying something that cant be tested at the yard, like an engine or tranny. As if they don't work, you can return for a full refund. Otherwise warranty is not worth it for anything else that can be tested like electrical items. Just bring in some portable 12 volt device to test all electrical stuff. No need for the overpriced warranty. If you test the items and they work, you wont ever use the warranty. They know you probably wont need warranty. Thats why they try to smack it on all sales. Its all about big revenue here. Go on the website to view parts prices before you come here. Plan your trip. Otherwise, you will be sticker shocked once the greedy cashier start overcharging you for junk. Make sure you know the name of every part you buy and the name is listed on the website. For example, if you have an interior rear view mirror, make sure you are charged for an interior rear view mirror. Not an exterior or outside rear view mirror. Which is significantly higher. If you have a CD changer magazine, they will probably charge you for a radio. As "CD changer magazine" is not even listed in their parts prices. Cashiers love to play those games of up-charging you for junk you don't have. Make sure you look at the outside LCD screen as you are being charged. Don't let them overcharge you for stuff you don't have. The prices are so high here (and at all LKQ locations), I wonder why anyone would go here so often. Back in the day, their prices were lower than stealership new prices and eBay used prices. Nowadays, their prices are higher than eBay used prices and about the same amount as stealership new prices. You would be better off buying stuff off eBay and having it delivered to your home than coming here. Why come here to get dirty and dusty, wasting gas, spending minutes to hours walking and picking just to pay stealership brand new prices for used junk? Last but not least, be prepared to open your tool box, backpack, purse, wallet, etc when entering and exiting. Entry and exit personnel will want to check the aforementioned for hidden junk. Sure I understand that there are thieves. But what is the whole point of searching when entering? That just holds up entrance line. The only good about this place are the free use of wheelbarrows and plentiful parking. Just make sure the wheelbarrows can roll down the aisles. As most aisles are full of debris and some wheelbarrows are broken and cant roll freely.
