Mainly because that was the only meat item I preferred. Everything else was veggies and fruits. I'll also add that I arrived a bit late and the food looked picked over, so I didn't really want to eat much. The drinks were ok. Once again, this was for a staff event, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with multiple teachers hanging out at the bar with drink tickets in hand. The setup is really nice. I really enjoyed playing pickle ball and I will definitely be back without such a large group.

We had so much fun, no clue how to play pickleball but we had a good time just being active! We took a mid play break and sat at the bar for drinks. Our bartender Summer was the bomb, she let us sample the frozen drinks (the transfusion and the John Daly, I reaallllly liked the John Daly) and I decided to try a Pimm's cup for the first time. It won't be the last because this was FIRE! Sooo good and refreshing. I really enjoyed my first time at the painted pickle and would def return to play "pickleball" again lol!

Joining Life Time has been one of the best decisions our family has made…read more Like many busy professionals, I had built a great home gym over the years. What I didn't realize I was missing was the energy that comes from being surrounded by people pursuing health, wellness, growth, and recovery. What sets Life Time apart is that it isn't just a gym. It's an ecosystem built around helping people become the healthiest version of themselves. One day I may run laps on the indoor track. Another day I may focus on strength training, core work, boxing, stretching, or recovery. There are machines and training areas for every fitness level and every goal imaginable. Treadmills, weights, functional fitness spaces, recovery tools, massage chairs, stretching equipment, steam rooms, hot tubs, infrared saunas, traditional saunas, cold recovery spaces, and more. And yes, there are televisions everywhere filled with sports. Lots and lots of sports. The atmosphere is contagious. You are surrounded by people investing in themselves, challenging themselves, and pursuing healthier lives. One of the lessons I recently wrote about in my article Dynamic Stretch + Recovery is that growth doesn't happen during the workout alone. Growth happens in the recovery. Muscles strengthen when they are challenged and then given time to rebuild. The same is true in life. The best leaders understand this. The healthiest people understand this. Strong performance requires intentional recovery. Life Time has reminded me of that truth. For me, the traditional sauna has become a favorite place to reflect, pray, recover, and simply be still. It is often in those quiet moments that I find clarity, gratitude, and perspective. What has surprised me most is how much our entire family loves it. My daughter is having a blast with the pools, water slides, and activities. The outdoor beach club atmosphere, music, and weekend events make it feel more like a resort than a gym. My husband has found a place to exercise, stay active, and invest in his health as well. We joined thinking we were purchasing a fitness membership. What we found was community, family experiences, wellness, recovery, inspiration, and joy. In a world that constantly tells us to do more, Life Time reminds us that our health, our families, and our well-being are worth investing in too. Grateful we made the decision.

It took probably 45 minutes for anybody to do anything which again didn't help me very much. I went into the sauna and it's similarly filthy. By looking through the spaces between the cedar planks you can see Band-Aids and other crap there. Just really dirty for something we pay so much for. There is also no direct way to contact corporate about this. The offer was to talk locally to the concierge but I guess that's really the problem isn't it. What we talking locally do if this is how they maintain the club anyway. It's just terrible that I have to do this every time you know every other month it's this way.

This is a very poorly run league. I have been playing in it for a couple of seasons now, and every…read moreseason there is an issue that is mishandled by the league coordinator. She seems to not have any experience running a league, and common sense never prevails. Since this is a relatively new league created just a few years ago, they have had to run several promotions to get players to join. The first year I played, I paid for 3 seasons to take advantage of a discount. I did not know much about the league other than the price was much cheaper compared to their competitors. The problem was that they have no policy in place to prevent players from underrating themselves. So there would often be players who would be playing at a much lower level than their true rating. A player admitted as much to me once. But when I brought it to the attention of the league, they turned a blind eye. I learned later from the player that the league invited him to play at that level just to fill a spot. The next season, I again ran into an issue with an opponent, this time in the playoffs. My opponent would play shadow games with me by being slow to respond to emails, not being truthful about his availability, or simply not being available to play. In this league, if you cannot agree upon a match date, then the person who was most available that week wins. However, when it came time to default the opponent, he whispered some sweet lies to the league coordinator, FORGED A FAKE EMAIL and sent it to her. Obviously she proceeded to believe him without verifying the validity of the email and defaulted me. When I tried to plead my case with her, she simply said her decision was final and left it at that. I spent a lot of time agonizing over this case, especially with my poor wife who had to endure the pain with me. Unfortunately, it seems that evil prevailed in this case. I wish there were some positives I could say about this league because the prices are hard to beat. But it appears that in this league, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR. If price is all you're concerned about, I would urge you to STAY AWAY FROM THIS LEAGUE and look elsewhere!!! There are many other well run leagues out there that have been around for much longer and know what they are doing. They have measures in place to properly handle situations like these. I have stressed way too much over this league that I can confidently tell you that it is one of the worst run leagues I have ever been a part of. Do yourself a favor and join ANY other league. I will never play in Flex Tennis League ever again, even if it were free!
