I have had an ongoing problem with this business that it won't fix, up to now. Below is a summary of my experience. I spoke with four representatives of Wildfire Paintball; Mark R, before purchasing admission tickets for roughly 40 people, and Abby T., after my purchase in order to get more details about an outing being planned for a large group. The other two individuals were employees on duty at the paintball field to whom I spoke on separate occasions by phone well after the ticket purchase, to nail down cost information to pass on to my group members. The latter two individuals informed me, contrary to Mark and Abby, of Wildfire's insistence that each of my group participants would be required to pay for 500 paintballs at a minimum. I have since informed both Mark R. and Abby T. of this situation but neither of them have responded. Below is what I asked them to address: Mark, C. B. here.  I was arranging an event at Wildfire Paintball for Sunday afternoon, June 29, so I called Wildfire. My first call was perhaps a month ago (mid-May, and no mention of what I describe hereinbelow was made to me at that time). As you know, I got the tickets from you and they provide for admission and safety gear, all except the paintballs and CO2.   Well, an employee at Wildfire Paintball told me today (roughly two weeks ago now,) that the "minimum" paintball package for everyone in my event party would be 500 paintballs per person, costing over  $40.   That's absurd.  Anyone who wants to pay for 500 paintballs is welcome to do so but there are lesser paintball packages available for purchase ON THE WEBSITE!!! There is nothing, on the website or disclosed during our communications, that establishes a 500 paintball minimum purchase. You (Mark) and I had talked about total costs (as that was a big concern for me to convey to my group membership) and you pointed out that there were paintball purchase packages on the website.  I looked at the website during our call before I even agreed to buy the tickets and you were absolutely right about varying costs and paintball package availability. This business is apparently disgruntled because it can't sell us admission and safety gear all over again (which I have already paid $300 for, mind you) so it's trying to make up for lost revenue by redefining the meaning of the word "minimum", while ignoring its own website advertisement that clearly lays out the cost of the various available paintball packages, in order to increase the number of paintballs we have to buy to 500 "minimum", at a cost of over $40 per person plus the cost of the CO2 propellant. I will not accept this thinly veiled bait and switch tactic under any circumstances.   If I ever use these tickets, my group will buy whatever number of paintballs each individual desires, in increments of 100, as per Wildfire's representations on its website, and as contemplated by everyone who was involved in this transaction, including you, Mark. If the people running the show over there ever figure out that they might rather make SOME money than NO money, this could turn out to be a win-win for us all. Think about this. I contemplate a three hour window on a Sunday afternoon for a group that ranges in age from 8 to 70+. I need an executive manager who will make a better decision than gouging 8 to 70 year olds, both men and women, who would have difficulty running around and shooting 500 paintballs, in three hours, if you pointed the paintball gun and pulled the trigger for them. There are good reasons for such a wide range of price points for paintballs on your site. Isn't one such reason to give your customers a choice? You're trying to make our choice for us; a choice that inures to your benefit. Instead, try complying with the representations you have made through your representatives and on your website. We had a blast! We held my son's 11th Birthday Party here. We all met in the parking lot right after the last day of school to tailgate with CFA strips and fruit! We reserved a private event starting at 2. We had 11 kids to attend and we had the space all to ourselves, which was important, because we didn't want to be running around with a lot of other people. We wanted to have some distance. All of the guys were helpful. We had the low impact, but the kids still got hit pretty hard. We went back and got the vests for extra protection in addition to the face gear. Once they had the vests and got the feel Of the paintballs, they said that it didn't hurt anymore. It was the initial shock I think. But, the crew was serious about paintball safety and we had a great 2 1/2 hours of play. Well worth it. The kids want to go back! read more

A decent place but not going again. Nothing was regulated, refs didn't care and no gun was checked. Guys with all the pro equipment were playing against kids with little to no equipment. Little regulations on field. Not going again. read more

Took a group of 3 10 - 11yr old boys to play for first time. Not many options s for paintball, much less indoors, in Atlanta area so had to drive a bit from Norcross. Employee provided basic knowledge of gun and uses along with safety instructions. Lacked much enthusiasm in any other question or general comment. Provided little to no instructions for where to wait or who to see upon conclusion of orientation. 1 ref provided some assistance with rules and instructions for the boys. Course a bit dated and needs a good cleaning, albeit a course ridden of used paintballs. Generally the boys had a good time. If I don't open my own paintball course first I'd return. read more

So this is mostly a complaint about your employee working Saturday, April 22. His behavior was highly unprofessional and quite immature. Now this could be due to the fact that he is only 17 (by his admission), but that should not be an excuse, nor should it be acceptable at a place of business. To start, his lackluster and demeaning attitude got us started off on the wrong foot. As newbies to the paintball experience, we wanted to know if we should do the low- or high-impact rifles, to which the employee replied, "Well, low-impact is for little girls." He gave no further description, so we chose the high-impact. My friends and I began playing and had put in some good time before a solo customer came in. As he was by himself, he kindly asked if he could join our game. At this point, the employee also injected himself into the game. He was dressed in long-sleeves, baggy pants, and arm pads, the more appropriate gear for high-impact. He had failed to mention to us that most people wear protective clothes for high-impact (we had short sleeve shirts and shorts). What really ticked us off was that he trivialized the low-impact and then joined our game wearing more protective layers than us and without really letting us give our consent for him to join. After another family with small children arrived, he switched to join their game. At some point, the kids strongly voiced their displeasure at the employee joining their low-impact game. We heard one of the children say, "Please, no." And a couple of the other kids refused to play altogether because of the employee. To which, this employee said, "It's okay, I'll just run circles around you." I don't know if the children could understand how demeaning this was, but if the children had told him "no" and refused to play because of him, that should've been hint enough. But the employee did not demonstrate any level of maturity or professionalism. Scaring your customers out of playing is unacceptable. And the biggest issue we came across was a huge safety concern. During one of the few rounds he didn't grace us with his presence, he began shouting distracting phrases at the referee. This included phrases such as, "I'm out," "Stop!" and "I surrender." No other employee seemed to deem this inappropriate and let him carry on. When one of our players asked him to stop, he seemed to genuinely not understand that what he was doing was distracting and disruptive and instead tried questioning the player during active play. Overall, we found that this employee and the response of other employees to be unprofessional and lacking the customer service needed for a beginner and family-friendly paint-ball location. But hey, maybe only having professional players is the vibe you're going for. But maybe you will want to market your place differently then. But what most definitely needs to happen is for that employee to be trained on proper customer service and just etiquette in general. He made the overall experience a bad one with his unapologetic and immature attitude. read more

Place was cool. We had a great time paint balling. The workers were a bit rude and standoffish. Bad for business.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Extremely disorganized, under staffed, and staff that was there didn't seem to care, felt like no one was in charge all day. Given continual apologies for "waiting to play" by staff. Facility was filthy - the indoor area was covered in old/broken paintballs/splatter, looked like the place had never been cleaned after a day of play. WAY overpriced. Even with a groupon for "all day play" we were still charged out the ass to purchase cheap paintballs, and our C02 that was "full" ran out several times throughout the games - told the "gun wasn't working" as staff blundered around holding up the games even longer... Overall, manager couldn't seem bothered to come out from behind the desk where all he wanted to do was collect money on overpriced paintballs and upsell gear like protective vests to little kids. Whoever owns this place should look into new professional staff that would take charge of the operation. read more

Called 10 days in advance to make a reservation for a private party for my friend's bachelorette party. The reservation was on a Monday but they assured me they would open for my group and would notify me if they were unable to provide enough staff for the party. I gave them my name, contact info, number of players and time for the reservation and I was told over the phone my reservation was confirmed. I offered to put down a deposit but was told it was unnecessary and that I could pay when we arrived. I called the day before our reservation to double check it was confirmed and spoke with a manager who said they had no record of the reservation. They refused to honor the reservation and offered no alternatives. I was very disappointed in their lack of organization, communication and professionalism and even more disappointed that I had to tell my friend and 8 of her friends that our fun bachelorette event was cancelled last minute. read more
