I needed help taking down a framed piece of artwork. I called the number on the website (around 9 pm on a weekday) to confirm store hours, and to my surprise, a friendly gentleman by the name of Matt answered. He asked how he could be of service, and after I explained my needs, he offered to walk me through the take-down process over the phone. Of course, I hesitated, but he reassured me I was capable of doing it. He even told me to text him pictures directly so he could better assist me. With his patience, diligence, and expertise, he successfully and safely walked me through the removal of the print. I say all this to show you that good people in this world still exist. He was transparent and upfront about his cost, but he spared me the expense because he is not in this business for the money. He does this because he is truly passionate about his work. Unfortunately, when you want screen printing on a tshirt, MOST places make you buy in quantities of 12 or more. I only needed two, and I needed two shirts printed, last minute. My best friend and I had entrusted a company to make us 2 shirts- with a picture and some wording on the front of the shirts. It was for a ceremony (a vigil) that would be held during the same week. With labor day and our busy schedules, the time was ticking and we didn't have much time to plan. The company we entrusted prior to finding Picture Works, wasted HALF a day- on TWO SHIRTS- and botched our order! So frantically, I started calling around- everywhere north of Boston. I stumbled across Picture works, the first company who said they'd do my request per shirt and didn't try forcing me to purchase 12. I spoke with Gina. She was super helpful and resourceful. She said they'd try their best, and she gave me Matt's contact info. They were willing to do what they could. I'm sure they weren't ECSTATIC with the idea of me just purchasing two- I understand it's costly and not as effective as doing large orders. But this is a very important and symbolistic request that means a lot to my best friend. I am super grateful you were willing to work with us- and on such a short deadline!
