Review of an event:…read more Event parking was $9 all night. There was plenty of parking in the structure. Go to level 4 for event parking. Box office opens one hour prior to show and closed at midnight. Event space was not that big. Restrooms are available in the mall by the escalators. There are also restrooms inside event venue.

With doors opening about an hour before the concert, the GA line tends to be longer than expected, and most of the venue is standing-room-only unless you opt for "premium" price for seats. Even so, the "standing only" crowd is usually respectful, and despite the tight space, the atmosphere stays fun. But, for short folks like myself, can be a major disadvantage as crowds beginning to move toward the front and blocking the view. From a concert going perspective, wear comfortable shoes is best as you're standing through the two+ hours. The ventilation is okay so you could get warm fairly quickly. Plus, there's four bar stations throughout the venue so there's no shortage of drinks for purchase (snacks are available, too). Overall, I like that the parking garage is attached to the HOB along with many other shops. HOB representatives also offered discounts parking -- so you pay $8 for unlimited parking (rather than $4/hour).

Tonight we came to hear the Eric Dries Trio and Lia Booth. A dinner with a show. Phenomenal music,…read moredelectable food! Service is excellent and ambiance snazzy for a restaurant in a mini mall. We started with the Focaccia de Recco, followed by the beet salad. I had the roast chicken carbonara, my husband hand the homemade sausage lasagna. For dessert, we will be having the Irishman. NOTE TO THE CHEF: I only wished that the chef would have crisped up the prosciutto instead of just throwing in the slice as is. Texture of food is everything. It would have elevated the dish. Four stars for this dish.

I'm going to buck the 4.8 star average rating. The trouble with fawning Yelp reviews is they…read morecreate an expectation most places have a hard time living up to. This place is one of them in my opinion. One thing going for Jojo's is it hosts some good acts, and live music is pretty scarce in Tustin. We went to see Pretzel Logic, a really terrific Steely Dan tribute band that never disappoints. The views of the stage are good even when seated in the back of the room. The lighting and sound are good, too. However, the food was just so so, Jojo. * The calamari appetizer was generously portioned, but we've had a lot better elsewhere. * The Ribeye steak I ordered was the fattiest piece of meat I've ever been served. I left half of it uneaten. I'm surprised the cook who prepared it had the gall to plate it. The menu is an abbreviated version of the full menu of 17th Street grill. So why not a two star rating? The service was very good in a challenging environment. Cheers!

We had a blast! The band had the crowd jumping. In addition, the place is big w/ lots of tables for large groups (there were ~ 15 in our party). The dance floor is spacious also, so it didn't get body to body. Lastly, the clientele are chill, and no one was looking to cause trouble unlike some places. Our waitress took excellent care of us (I forgot her name). But all the staff was cool. I ordered a few drinks from Yvette at the bar, and she was friendly & warm. The only downside is the food is pricey & average. That issue is easily resolved by eating beforehand (band starts @ ~ 9 pm). I only had snacks at Gaslamp to line my stomach for all the alcohol. I would definitely return to enjoy a fun night in a low key place. The cover is reasonable, and the service is very good.

They did honour my request to have the burger plain with just the bun, meat and cheese. Good. The burger was decent but nothing special especially considering the price. The French Fries were decent. Men's washroom was clean and had paper towels... good. I'm glad that the bartender who served me tucked his shirt in... looks professional. I was not able to understand what Whey Jennings said from the stage. Either he did not speak well or else that the acoustics were bad. If I was to assign a letter grade as is done in school, this establishment would be in there solid with a B.

I want to say that the theater holds maybe 75-100 people...? Comfy seats and every seat is a great view. Prices are great, our last show was $39 each. The actors are fun and you can tell they absolutely love doing what they do. They are there to make everyone happy including themselves and their fellow castmates. There is a bar with drinks and snacks, we've even seen shirts for sale! We are considering purchasing a "B Season Pass" so we don't miss out on the shows this coming year, some sell out fast! I hate to even give a great review because I don't want people to buy up all the seats from under us, but yet I want to also give this theater a huge and happy round of applause for being FANTASTIC!! We will see you again soon! Cheers!
