First time to attend a dinner & show at Jojo's Hideaway and was totally impressed. I had the Cajun shrimp fettuccini and it was so good to the last bite! The dish was loaded with huge shrimp, Cajun andouille sausage, and peppers. It was loaded with such a rich and creamy sauce. My husband had the chicken parmigiana. Chicken was cooked just right and tender. Pasta was very good! I had a couple of their very smooth pineapple Moscow mules and was just rocking out to the music of Steely Dan presented by the tribute band, Pretzel Logic. Our server was very attentive too! Such a great place. Will definitely be back for other shows & dinner of course! This place is a gem!

Great music on Thursday and Friday nights! Food is always consistent along with service! They have Jazz on Thursday and various artists and music on Fridays.

Mike Hamilton on piano and guitar was fantastic!

Justyn was incredibly helpful in organizing everything beforehand and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. We had a party of 30 people, which can easily get chaotic, but everything went perfectly. Originally we planned to sit on the patio, and they had it ready for us. Because of the unexpected winds, they also prepared an indoor space just in case--and thankfully they did, because the wind ended up being too strong. The transition inside was seamless and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff during the event were amazing. Alison made sure there was never an empty glass during bottomless, the food came out quickly and smoothly even with such a large group, and the overall atmosphere was incredible. The food itself was great American brunch classics, and for bottomless they brought multiple juice options and had the table set up with bottles, juices, and water evenly distributed so everything felt organized and easy. What I appreciated most was that I never once had to worry about my guests. I was able to actually enjoy my birthday brunch instead of managing things, which meant a lot. After brunch our party continued into the afternoon with pool and drinks, and that transition was just as smooth. The vibes were so good that honestly none of us wanted to leave. They were also kind enough to keep our cake in the fridge and even brought it out with the candles lit for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. Absolutely no complaints. If I could host every brunch event here for the rest of my life, I would. Truly 10/10 for the staff, the location, the atmosphere, and the overall experience.

It was packed so the general manager Justyn helped up set up tables outside which made us feel extremely welcomed. Our server even gave us face stickers! You can tell they genuinely care about their guests- positive energy and service all around. This spot is also so cute for date nights. It's cozy and fun. They even even have a pool table and a photo booth for five dollars. They also offer different events on different nights, so the place always feels new and exciting! Also, their bottomless mimosa deal is SO worth it. If you purchase an entrée, you could get bottomless mimosa for a deal. Chef Carlos is also incredible- honestly I'm not the biggest taco/nacho fan but these were fire. Parking is always easy since they're nearby structure is around a two minute walk. The place also stays open until 2AM even on Weekdays!! Its hard to find that, especially in Irvine. And with Friendsgiving coming up, this is great place to bring your group and hangout. This place is spacious and doesn't feel crowded like other bars. Huge shoutout again to Justyn, Steven, and Chef Carlos for making the visit great. Will be back soon!

Right from…read morethe start, we were welcomed by a friendly security guard at the entrance, which set the tone. Ladies, just a heads up, they do check your purses before entry, and there's a $10 cover per person. I highly recommend getting a table if you can. There's a minimum spend. For us, it was $125 for food and drinks, but it's worth it to have a spot to sit, relax, and actually enjoy the band and the view of the dance floor without hovering around. The live band was so much fun. Everyone was out there line dancing to both country and pop songs, and the energy was contagious. Even if you don't know the dances, it's still a blast to watch and soak in the positive high energy crowd. Next time, I'm definitely coming earlier to learn a few moves and fully join in. They have two food menus plus a drink menu. Food wise, it was decent. I ordered the ranch steak burger (cooked medium) with fries, and it was a good solid choice. The warm campfire chocolate cookie with vanilla ice cream was a nice sweet treat to end the night. Service is where this place really shines. From the security to the staff to even the guests, everyone was incredibly welcoming. You can tell there are a lot of regulars, and it creates this friendly, almost community like atmosphere. Our waitress (I didn't catch her name) was amazing. She was super attentive, constantly checking in, clearing the table, chatting with us, and just giving off the warmest energy while still being quick and efficient. Overall, the people truly make this place. Great music, fun crowd, and an all around good time. Already looking forward to coming back. Best part is that you can request songs, so if you only know 5 songs so far like me, come early to write them on the list so that you're not just sitting on the sideline all night. The bar & food are pretty darn good. Solid nachos and french fries def good munchies while you're drinking and waiting for your next song! We reserved a table for a birthday on a Saturday, had to spend at least $350 for the booth. The food food was really good though, my favorites were the scallops. Cocktails and shots were served throughout the night, plus the booth had prime seating watching the dance floor. Overall a great place to celebrate!

We have also been there for seated dinner style events with Chef's and it has been amazing as well. Last night my Mom and I attended the 40th anniversary screening of the movie Clue and it was amazing! There were rows of seats and I felt we had a good amount of leg room and the seats were not the most comfortable but they worked well for the amount of time we were seated. It was so much fun, the audience was involved and we had a Q&A beforehand which was neat to learn some background of the movie. The venue has plenty of seating out in the happy hour area where you can grab a drink and snacks. Prices were reasonable, popcorn, pretzels, movie snacks, as well as more sufficient foods like pizza, flatbreads, and burgers. Parking is fairly easy in and out. PARKING When I purchased concert tickets, I had the option to add prepaid parking. Check to make sure you have that option too because it was a quicker process. SECURITY I felt secure here. There is a size limit on bags/purses so be sure to follow the instructions. I used a mini clear bag to hold my phone and wallet. VENUE, SEATING & SOUND SYSTEM I liked the size of this venue. It was smaller so anywhere you sit is a good view. The seats were cushioned chairs held together by zip ties. And while the seating map appeared to be in sections, it is all on one floor with an incline. As a musician, I was really bothered by the sound system. I'm not sure if it's an in-house sound tech but they really didn't balance the instruments and singer's volume. Perhaps a more thorough sound check was needed IMO. FOOD, DRINKS & MERCH They sold food and drinks at the venue. What I saw people eating here were popcorn. Since I got to the venue early, I walked across the street to get something to eat. Across the street there are casual dining options like Panda Express, Carl's Jr, and Chipotle to name a few. I chose the latter. I picked up some merch before the show started to avoid any rush after the concert. I'm not sure what pay methods they take but I used my card and it was a quicker process transaction. RESTROOMS The restrooms were clean and well-maintained. I made sure to use the women's restroom before the show started and I'm glad I did because there was a long line after the show ended. Overall, the Grove of Anaheim is a smaller venue on a single floor plan with high ceilings, could-be-better sound system, cushioned chairs, and great lighting. I don't mind returning to watch another show here. It was very enjoyable.

I was lucky enough to stumble across this gem of the center of OC when they first opened - and I am proud to be a regular here. I don't know how to go somewhere else - because I feel like the staff are giant gems in this jewel of a spot. Winters is a curator of boozy information that has helped me learn about "gin" and "root beer whiskey" so I can sound like an adult-ish purveyor, when really I know close to nothing except being a willing student to his creations. Dan the Man and Jacob always see me raise my hand in the corner of the bar, like the student I am, and have been willing to fill in the blanks for me when I know I am of thirst, but do not have the words for what to order. Every person working in the well has treated me with kindness - they have taken the time to get to know me, and I will be forever appreciative of how they have taken care of me over the years. But the real joy has been the transformation that this spot has for building a community of people in Santa Ana for real recognizing real. I have been bringing my Dad with me to play pool for the past few years. Sometimes people ask me if he plays professionally, I am terrible, and my skill incline is slow, he is patient and plays with the same level craftiness that the staff offer the cocktails. My Dad is always stoked when we have time to go have a few hours of games at 616 - especially now that there are regulars on 4th street that are excited to see that he is there playing - and they rush to write their names on the chalkboard to challenge him - or beat him in a game they really earned the W. On lazy Sundays, I watch couples sit with their drink, listening to Jazz, and watching my Dad whoop my ass while making amazing shots. I am forever grateful to Memo who sometimes takes a break from his shift behind the bar to give my dad an actual challenge - which allows me the chance to watch my Dad enjoy fellowship around the table. Knowing the table was a relic of the bars former self, and knowing the history that this spot has in Santa Ana is a reminder that so much around us can change - but it is those moments of the crack of the rack, the cheer of getting the combo shot, and the shake of hands when it's over that shows that it's not just about the pool table - but about the energy of a place that is welcoming and curated by people who care about what they do - and care about who comes through their doors. Thank you Jason and Mike B to bringing this to 4th St and supporting the community that was already here - and for building a community for the future. Thank you to Christina and Brandon for always having amazing pictures, decor, and fun events at 616 that help introduce new folks into this great spot. Time is short. Learn about Root Beer Whiskey.
