Before I even agreed to having them to do the work, they were incredibly helpful and responsive via text. They meticulously explained to me my options and answered all of my many many questions. The install itself was done very well. All of the wires were well hidden and the installation was clean. The lights are all perfectly spaced and look great. They extended the power cord and were able to plug it into a utility box on the side of the house so there are no obvious cords anywhere. Even after the holidays, we've used the lights to light our house the colors of our sports teams and to provide warm white accent lighting. Can't say enough good things about the team and the work they did!

And that they need to dig out under the house. After having herk's come by and give his opinion, he said the pipe was already replaced and roots were coming in from the connection. He helped my mom call the city for them to take care of it, which they did. Cleaning out the line of roots and also apply weed and roots killer. He explained everything very well and also let my mom see what he saw on camera and explained it to her so she understands what's really going on. The owner of that business recommended Sunlight Electrical to fix my system. I spoke with Carlos at Sunlight. He sent out Isaac who seemed very capable. Isaac's assessment was that my system had multiple wiring issues and recommended a service that would require a larger team to complete. He explained why, and I concurred with Isaac's recommendation. Carlos scheduled a larger team to come out the next week. They were led by Jesus, who also seemed quite knowledgeable. Jesus and his team worked diligently for 4 hours. They found more wiring errors as Isaac has predicted. And they found a damaged Tesla MC2 unit on the roof which had cracked. After they completed their repairs, the system started operating better than it ever had before. I estimate that I am now getting an extra 10-15% more power from the solar panels. In addition to providing capable technicians, I really appreciate that Sunlight is so easy to work with. I asked several highly technical questions and always got thoughtful answers. If you want something done a specific way, just ask them. They have such a positive, customer oriented attitude that makes them a pleasure to deal with.

I spoke with many contractors, and almost all of them sent salespeople who gave generic answers or tried to push cookie-cutter solutions that clearly didn't fit my setup. Carlos was completely different. From the moment he arrived, it was clear he wasn't a salesperson -- he's an engineer, and it shows. He took the time to deeply understand my system, reviewed actual spec sheets on the spot, and immediately identified issues that other contractors completely missed. Multiple companies told me Hyundai panels would work fine. Carlos checked the amperage limits, applied proper safety margin calculations, and clearly explained why those panels would not work with my EcoFlow system -- saving me from a costly mistake. In a span of 5 years, Mr. Peoples has performed the following repairs in our home: Ceiling fans in 5 rooms, corrected outlet issues in our laundry room, master bedroom and upstairs bedroom; installed additional power outlets in our guest bedroom to accommodate a hospital bed, spliced breakers in our garage, in our 18-year-old fuse box and has removed wires and glass tubing from our outside light fixtures. Additionally, Mr. Peoples has supported us in ensuring that repairs performed in our home by other contractors were necessary and without excessive charge. Mr. Peoples has been very attentive to our electrical needs and is timely, courteous and patient. I had a minor problem with my dining room light that had been out for quite some time. My availability was limited but they were able to coordinate service very quickly and had the tech out that same day. Edward came out and did a fabulous job fixing the issue and sorting out the lines that were initially all mixed up. He also helped me figure out what was wrong with my light above the kitchen which was not something I thought would be possible to do that same day. He was patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions which included different work that will need attention in the future. I called them after a full day of searching around and not getting any calls back, explained that our power had been fluctuating before we lost Power to half the house. They called me back within a half hour and Ken had arrived within another forty minutes after that! They were considerate while listening to us explain the problem and they very quickly ran through all the obvious falt points, narrowing down the issue (a damaged underground cable) quite quickly. They worked fast, and even stayed till well after dark to ensure that my father and I had full power back before they left. Ken came out to my house to check a blown outlet. I'm glad he came because there was an exposed wire in the wall that put the house in danger of catching fire. There were sparks coming out from underneath the wall, and the stud that the wire was stapled to began to catch fire. This was all due to bad wiring when the wall was knocked out 20+ years ago. However, Ken was able to fix it, checked all the other outlets in the house, and gave me some suggestions to prevent any other future incidents. He did a great job for a good price. My original request was for the electrical inspection because I was doubting that there may be other underlying issues that burnt 2 of the receptacles at my condo. Jose didn't find any fault in my circuit breaker and diagnosed that it was because the burnt receptacles are not aluminum rated and that my tenant was using way too much electricity. So, he replaced both of them with aluminum rated outlets within about half an hour for $620 + 3% credit card fee. I felt it was pretty expensive but he explained that it was mainly because of how messy it was for him to clean it up. He offered to come back for an additional inspection of the rest of the outlets for a cheaper price. He said he wasn't able to inspect the rest that day because of how messy my condo was. I didn't feel like it was a professional comment to make. Well...another 2 receptacles stopped working the very next day. I ended up calling another company and they educated me about everything in details. I ended up requesting to add dedicated circuits for the microwave and fridge. Now, there's no more problem! I wish Jose diagnosed the underlying problem instead of making the quick money on just replacing the receptacles.

We had been having some serious electrical issues for a while. Not realizing the severity of the…read moresituation until our entire house started flickering and our panel would sizzle, spark and arc when next to it. We grew concerned as the panel was located on the outside wall connected to our daughters room. We did some research and found out that all of our lines would need to be brought up to 2020 MID code and required 30 ft. of underground trenching, making us responsible for all of the fees associated. We called a bunch of electrical companies that didn't even want to take our job because of how big of an undertaking it was. We then came across Del Rio Electric and their amazing reviews. I called and Rick answered right away, he introduced himself as the owner which was impressive to us given the current times and how busy he was! We told him we were underground and he knew exactly what we were talking about and told us exactly what needed to be done as our job requires a lot of patience. He stayed on the phone with us for over 30 mins giving us reassurance and that in itself made me feel like we were ready to decide to move forward with the process. We chose to replace our entire panel because of how bad of shape our 50 year old Zinsco panel was burnt up. His pricing is the best in town and the estimate did not change, and he was 100% open and honest! As we waited for the 1-800 Dig process, and MID inspection process to move forward he kept us in the loop and was very transparent about the timeline as we had to follow protocol. He even sent us all the permit approvals as he received them keeping us well informed. He even temporarily fixed the main breaker that was melted to the panel to fix the power until the panel replacement. As soon as Rick got the approval to be able to start digging our trench, they were out that next morning at 7am! We were met by Rick and Nick, and man did they work hard. That dirt was so hard and they chipped away at it until they were 39 inches deep and 30 feet long with this trenching to lay the new conduit. They never once complained, always smiling and so sweet. To say we appreciate them is just not enough. Once the trenching and inspections were done he let us know right away we were clear for panel replacement. We planned to be gone for three days as power had to be cut to put in the panel. It was done in less that 2 days. Most of that was waiting for MID inspection scheduling. Their work was impeccable and very clean. The new 200 amp panel is amazing and we are forever grateful! Thank you so much Rick and Nick for all you did for our family. Highly recommend this company for all your electrical needs.

I had several electricians come over to give me a bid. One wanted to charge me to even give me an estimate and another said that it was too much work to bother replacing. Rick was able to give me an estimate that he stuck to, and completed the work in a timely manner. The best part was his price was very fair and he only had to make one hole! He is someone that I will definitely call anytime I have an electrical issue. Having an electrician that you can trust is invaluable, so I am so happy to have met Rick. I've been meaning to write this review for over a year! We had these guys over for a full…read moreelectrical rewire (our outlets were not grounded) Amazingly.. they realized that a full rewire was NOT required! They found a ground and was able to attach every single socket to ground without a full rewire!!! They also added GFCI protection to the kitchen and bathrooms. They saved us tens of thousands of dollars and gave us a top notch fully modernized wired home. They also rewired our backyard, updated all the light switches, added a google sensor camera, AND found a way to have us control the waterfall without having to manually plug it in by adding a conveniently located switch by the door! They even went under the house in the crawl space to fix a poorly wired outlet done by a previous unlicensed contractor. To say they go above and beyond is an understatement. These guys are beyond professional and take so much pride in what they do. And, because they know what they're doing, they will save you money by getting the job done in the most efficient and effective way.
