AIM has always billed me in the past and i pay what i owe in $50 increments. that's how i have to do it. billing did not care. they invited me to leave since i had no money. they do not care about patients only money!!! and i didn't owe the entirety of the $275 because i've been to the dr this year already. if they had simply billed me they would have figured this out. but a blanket $275 due up front regardless of circumstances stinks and is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!

(Lenese who works the phones) not sure if that's the correct spelling Andre and Brenda don't represent the mission nor passion the team once had. My 1 year old was experiencing breathing difficulties as a result they'd given her Tylenol (fever medicine) and supposedly the breathing would regulate and it didn't. The staff stated they'd like to test her for COVID in which my wife phoned me and we both agreed not to have it done. Andre NEVER introduced himself or anything for all we know he was impersonating a nurse. After my wife notified the staff of our decision "not that she even knew Andre name until today" came in with a form after learning of our decision for her to sign to test for OTHER respiratory complications. This form had three boxes to select from one which stated COVID-19 in which we left unchecked. When my wife asked for clarity Andre huffed as if we were an inconvenience and our concerns or questions bothered. He stated "this isn't a Covid test" just a test for other respiratory infections. We went along with the test based on Andre "who specializes in this field" word. Shortly after Brenda suggested due to air not reaching the bottom of our daughter belly we should take her to Hughes Spaulding. Today we received a follow up call stating that our daughters test results came back with being positive for both Covid and another respiratory infection. They didn't provide any additional detail on how to treat either or whether a prescription would be provided or scheduling a follow-up. Immediately my wife becomes upset and calls me stating what was told to her via the doctor office and test results I decided to phone ABC pediatrics where Lenese (possibly misspelled) greeted me as if again I was an inconvenience to her working the front desk. While expressing my concern she continuously questioned my intelligence disregarding my feelings and concern as a father regarding my daughters health. They without our consent of knowledge tested her against our belief and when we asked ANDRE he verified it wasn't for the test that they'd provided us results for. Lenese mentioned "your wife signed the document". Lenese thought it was okay to make mention "sir you weren't here" why physically I wasn't however all 13 years that they've been our provider this was the ONLY appt I was unable to make. Nevertheless I was on the phone during the entire appointment. After going back and forth with a receptionist I realized my concerns and anger was above her job description and pay grade and when asked to speak with someone above her she stated "no one is available you can leave a message" to add I've dealt with her attitude 2x before this one. Lenese refused to provide me names of any leads or additional help that was above her. The call ended at this point when I felt the disrespect in me wanting to come out. I dialed my wife back and explained what was told to me with Lenese on the phone to hear my wife side. Yet again Lenese figured disrespecting us by over talking and being argumentative was her way of expressing her appreciation towards us as pretty much long standing patients. When we requested a copy of the sign form Lenese stated "I won't be able to talk give you this form" repeating you signed for the COVID test. We asked who was in charge Lenese provided the names of Tracy and Amy and their schedules of when we can expect them to be in. Dr. Hoffler is our usual provider and we've never ever had an issue or concern. Even when the wait time was longer than expected we didn't mind because we knew the treatment superseded the wait. However in his absence our documents had fresh ink of his signature which left us perplexed. I get times have changed but the mission and message of patients being priority should remain A1. Now we're here with a 1 year old no doctor advice ... no treatment plan... and everyone has an excuse.

I live out of state but visit my family here often. So not having my own doctor here leaves me…read morefeeling out on a limb when I get sick here. But not to worry because I got an appointment the same day, saw a compassionate and intelligent doctor and was back home in a couple of hours with all my medical needs addressed. Because they had my electronic chart I felt like they knew me and didn't have to answer endless questions about my complicated history. From the reception staff to the lab staff everyone was very kind.
