I wasn't feeling too well and decided it was time to get checked out. As I love the Piedmont brand, it only made sense that I go to Piedmont Urgent Care. The Fairburn location had the time slot I wanted so I went. To note, though you can book a time online, it's not an actual appointment. It's done to help maintain order and keep the flow of things moving. Once I arrived, I checked in at the front desk, paid my copay and had a seat. The young lady behind the desk was very even toned. She got me checked in and I had a seat. At the time of my arrival, there were 3 people in front of me. After a quick 30-40 minute wait, I was called to the back. The young lady who took my vitals was very upbeat and pleasant. Though I wasn't feeling good, her attention to service made me smile and was a great representation of the Piedmont brand. After taking my vitals and getting all the prelim done she took me to my room and advised the doctor would be with me shortly. Dr. Wendy arrived within minutes. She knocked on the door and once I authorized she entered. From the moment she walked in she was upbeat, compassionate and all smiles. Her bedside manner was beyond amazing. She provided a level of care that not only made me feel at ease as a patient, however, I felt valued as a person and as though Dr. Wendy wasn't just processing me as a number but as a person in need. She used my name. She took time to understand my concerns. She didn't rush me through anything. She talked through all areas with me. She let me know what she was doing and what the next steps would be. Her ability to engage with me as a patient was as if she was my PCP. Though I was at Urgent Care, the level of care, service, compassion, and attention was far beyond any other Urgent Care I have ever visited. From getting to the back area to being discharged I was there for about 45 minutes. None of my time felt wasted nor did I feel anyone had forgotten about me. Clean space. Got me in, check me out, got my medicine and was on my Mary Little Way. Everyone was nice and attentive.

Arrived for screening- urine sample. I asked the front desk how long would the wait be n she shook her head quick responded not long for a urine test. I have been waiting now over 30 mins with a full bladder. Then I asked the front about how much longer the lady responded I don't know because your chart is the first one. 10 mins later still haven't been called back. I'm not very pleased with this visit. Let me start by saying it's hard to get mediocre customer service these days ANYWHERE you go! However today I received an EXCELLENT customer service experience at this facility from the moment I walked in being greeted (immediately) by Emily's smiling face! Tyisha was so professional, genuine, and VERY attentive while I explained the reason for my visit. Morine has lots of experience I can tell from her poise and quick attention to detail. Lastly, Michelle, my closing nurse sealed the deal with her personalized and amazing personality. I must say I was taken care of VERY WELL. Came in after a finger cut and couldn't move part of it. They brushed me off and said I'd be perfectly fine in a few days. Got an mri one week later and found out I had cut my tendon completely through. I needed urgent surgery and it was time sensitive- I may never recover full function due to their negligence They then billed my urgent care visit as a primary care visit and after getting two tickets resubmitted to try and fix it they won't change it. A 15 dollar charge is now a 220 one. Would not recommend this facility at all read more

I've been to the Fairburn location twice in the past month and had good experiences both times. From scheduling appt online to check-in to care and prescriptions, all excellent. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Can also get xray on premises and fill prescriptions, if needed. read more

The level of professionalism AND basic Customer Service is seriously lacking in this clinic. From the front desk conversation centered around their weekend plans of turning up and their personal amazon packages, they're expecting to be delivered at the clinic, and the back-office staff that does not even greet the Patients back after my Son and I said hello. I initially had a Virtual appointment for my son because his regular Pediatrician's Office had no availability. This is the only reason I would bring my 11yo here by the Virtual NP recommended taking a PCR and flu test, but the Virtual provider did not provide follow-up instructions. Pending the test results, the Nurse was very aggravated by my line of question. I am his mother and his advocate if I do not understand something or need clarity that is why you are here to provide it. I was not nasty or belittling but I am not just ok with any answer you give me. Especially when the information she said does not match what the "my chart" information states. And here I am 24 hours later my son is still ill, with no follow-up from the initial NP, no follow-up from this clinic regarding the "prescriptions" that are not in my chart. I will never return here nor recommend anyone to come here. Because I take my health seriously, and I definitely take my child's health seriously and this is not the establishment to be taken seriously. The customer service is horrible. I was here on 7/13/2023 initially with light headaches,sore throat,body aches and a cough. I thought I had covid so my husband and I came here since it literally up the street from my house . I was tested for covif,flu and strep. All test came back negative. NP came in and said it's a respiratory infection gave me cough meds and ibuprofen sent me home. Friday morning I woke up with crusted eyes and throat on fire. I called the urgent care to see ig a antibiotic can be called in they daid i had to see doctor again before that could happen I said ok this was about 1130. I made a appointment dor 4pm due to me being in class and could not be there till after...class ended early so I came straight here got Herr at 145 checked in asked the front desk can they move my appointment up because they had 6 open slots for 2-3pm she said ok gotcha 3hrs later I go to front desk to ask what's going on and she tells me my apt is at 4 I statedbi knew that and asked to move apt up and the other young lady said she would. At this point I'm passed and trying not to write off the place and drive 20 min to Peachtree city where I will receive better care. So theblady comes back doesn't know where my file is and said they will be here shortly. Called me back at 405 10 min from original apt and ask all the necessary questions. All the while they Laughing and joking at front desk didn't notice I've been there for hours. Also a employee that was off walks in to the front desk hair all over her head with her kid talking and laughing with staff as well looking a mess. I am currently in the back waiting for the Np. To see if I will finally get some relief. I attempted to schedule an online appt (there are open slots online), but the clinic site will not accept the verification codes that it sent me. I tried four times with no success. I found a phone number for the clinic and called them, but was informed they cannot make appts over the phone. They recommended I come-in as a walk-in. "Currrent" wait time is about 90 minutes, but could change by the time I "arrive". I will look someplace else for treatment. read more

I went here today to get checked out because I'm having a cold. I told the receptionist I had already did a COVID test which came back negative, and my son had the flu that I wasn't sure if it could be the flu. She asks me if I wanted a COVID test or to be seen (when I had already said I was there to get check out). I told her I wanted to be seen she asked me for my name and phone number then told me to wait in my car (nobody else was asked to wait in the car). I did my check in process as soon as I got the text 5:20pm. I waited in the car for one hour. Then I walked in told her I had my appointment 6:15-6:22. She said "I didn't know you had that 'kind' of insurance" I said and you just looked at it right now? And with an attitude instead of apologizing for her incompetence and lack of professionalism with an attitude and opening her yes and moving her head as she spoke said "yes I just looked at it right now". Awful unprofessional workers to have at a healthcare place go begin with saying "that kind of insurance" to not checking my full checking process until I walked in after having me wait in my car for an hour because as I mentioned out of all the people that walked in I was the only one asked to wait in the car. Then giving me an attitude for her mistake and not even apologizing for her unprofessionalism. Definitely rather drive to the one in peachtree city or newnan then this urgent care. Visited this Piedmont urgent care on 8/28/21. Upon arrival, the front desk assistant didn't acknowledge my daughter because she was on her cell phone. My daughter went in to get a Covid test Bc of some flu like symptoms that she was experiencing. She was told to wait in the car and her wait time would be 2 hours. Two hours came and went, I called multiple times to see how much longer her wait would be, no one answered after repeated calls. I went in, the same unattractive lady was at the desk. She then stated that she didn't send the paper work for my daughter to fill out. My daughter was put back up in the que. I'll be contacting corporate Monday. read more

Today I had to get a complete set of immunizations (titers) and a physical for Nursing School. Initially, I called to ensure this was a service that Urgent Care provided and (once I found out that they did provide the service) what I needed to bring. Well, Trinity at the front desk went above and beyond to get me the help I needed and the answers to the questions I had. Once I got there, the customer service continued to be top-notch. The nurse, Amanda, had the best "bedside" manner a patient could ask for. She was extremely personable and explained everything happening (I had quite a bit to do).
