The nurse I saw (Elizabeth) was great. Pain became debilitating day after visit. Called, several times, trying to get a callback, leave a voicemail etc all of which were refused by whomever would answer. In addition on 9/27/2023 I get a txt to pay a bill. Should of owed $40 for an injection. Instead they chose to bill AGAIN for the visit, and the injection. The bill was received 9/27/2023 and is DUE the same day, leaving no time to get a correct bill. Called and attempted to get it resolved, and after being told it was fixed and i could now pay the $40 balance, I'm still being billed for the visit and injection. It's a shame the nurse I saw isn't at a reputable clinic since she was good and actually listen to me.

I will say that we were welcomed as we entered this facility. The young lady who welcomed us as we entered the door was great (kind and answered all of our questions with great customer service). However, it's a little embarrassing when you are asked as you enter the building "Hi, welcome to Piedmont Urgent Care ... what brings you in today?" The large foyer area is open for everyone to hear. This practice needs to be changed for privacy sake. Next, several patient check-ins were hampered by some type of malfunction. Codes that were supposed to be sent to cellphones for confirmation were not working well. We waited for a code that never came and went to the counter and spoke with another employee (who didn't appear wanting to be bothered). She seemed to be aware of the issue and sent another code (we got it this time). Lastly, we sat for about 40mins watching patients check in, sit and wait with no sign of movement from the back Clinical area). I inquired how many doctors were in ... "just 1". This was horrible... as there was a poor hollering child next to us (excruciating ear infection) along with a couple of workers comp patients and other walk-in's like us. It appeared as though there was no one working in the back at all (no doctor, nurse or anything!). No doors opening-closing, no chatter... absolutely dead silence in the exam room area. We knew we were in for a very long wait and opted to leave and headed to another Piedmont Urgent Care facility up the street with a larger staff. We will not be coming back to this location (Centerville Hwy) again. I will share that the facility was very clean however they don't appear to have the staffing needed to provide the medical services needed and in a timely fashion. I cannot recommend this facility. (Went to the other facility and my husband was seen within 10mins. We were out within an hour!!! Unbelievable. Upon arrival here the waiting room had several patients waiting to be seen. Though there were only two other sets of people in the waiting area, I was told they were behind, and it would be a 45 minute wait. She was very kind, pleasant, attentive, helpful and informative. Had it not been for Donna, I'd give zero stars if I could. During my discharge instructions, the MA told me I could purchase my prescriptions from them or have them sent to my pharmacy. I chose my pharmacy. By the time I left Urgent Care, it was after hours. The following morning, I called the pharmacy regarding my prescriptions. The staff at Piedmont NEVER called it in. Totally UNACCEPTABLE and so inconvenient, especially when you're not feeling well. Even though Donna was amazing, I'd never return to this facility. I can give a little grace for the wait time. I get it, a lot of places are understaffed these days. It has taken FOUR months to get them to re-bill the second insurance and get a refund. I'm still calling to follow up as they say it is still processing. Reading the poor reviews on google, the issues seems to lie in their registration process. Please hire a real MA with billing and registration experience. Urgent care charges very expensive might as well hire competent front desk staff that doesn't make patients do all the registration on their phone. And okay, I can do it on my phone. I even pre registered at home on my computer. I am meticulous, prepared, and had insurance cards with me, but then their practice did not file my second insurance correctly. The Care quality was average as expected. I only came here because of good reviews. Taking a closer look at the reviews. It's the recent reviews that are bad and older reviews that are good. Honestly, had a great experience…read more I was visiting from out of state, as I live in Florida. My insurance doesn't cover out of state visits, so it was $210 upfront via self-pay. However the customer experience was great. Clean office, charismatic and friendly people. I went in for lingering congestion and a cough after a cold I had about a week and a half ago. They think it's bronchitis. They gave me a steroid shot, and a prescription for a plethora of antibiotics and steroids for the next week, along with an albuterol inhaler for the wheezing. They were much kinder, efficient, and thorough than any FL urgent care I've been to. In FL, there's sometimes a cheaper $100-ish cost to get into the clinic, and then an additional bill sent to your home weeks later. This clinic assured me that the $210 I paid upfront will be the only bill I have to pay, aside from the prescriptions from Publix. That was a huge relief, also.
