We have always loved Pier49 pizza, but we just ordered from this location (Draper) today and they've started to charge you to use a credit card ($2.40). When I questioned them, they said they recently implemented this change. I called around to other local Pier49 locations and they informed me they don't charge a cc fee. I'm sad, because we like this location and usually give them our business, but with the cost of everything going up, if I have to pay a $2.50 fee for a $24 pizza, it just doesn't make it worth it when the other locations aren't charging the fee. read more

Okay, listen up, people. This place is amazing, there, I said it. I have been here on multiple occasions and have I ever been disappointed? Yes, but only in the size of my stomach and that it can't hold more pizza inside of it. The sour dough bread? C'MON. You know how Pacha tells Kuzco he can't build Kuzcotopia where his house is and says, "When the sun hits the ridge just right, these hills sing"? That's what this pizza does do my taste buds. This place is bad. First the place was a wreck, every table was dirty and there was trash and pizza crusts on the floor. Second the service was bad. People were friendly but just not good service. Super slow, went to the counter and it was like no one was working. Brought out pizza with no plates and just left. I had to go up and ask about plates and forks , just real bad. I'm with the other reviewers: pizza was really tasty but the price was way too high. I will say the chef's salad was a really large, really tasty salad even when ordering a half. It had lots of goodies (salami, pepperoni, olives, etc.) and the dressing was typical restaurant ranch (my fave). Also, no one was clearing tables so most all the booths still had leftover plates, cups and napkins from previous diners. Not cool. Not sure I'll return. I think I'll stick with Rock Creek Pizza Co. because it's down the street...oh, and has a great buffet! read more

My wife and I were excited to found a new gluten free pizza place. Unfortunately it costs twice as much as a regular and is a little smaller than a microwave pizza. The worst part was the pizza was so terrible that we couldn't even finish it. Worst pizza ever! After seeing this place open for years I decided to finally try it out. I'm glad I did and got it out of the way. The pizza was very bland and the presentation was poor. The taste of the spinach artichoke dip plus the bread that comes with it was not that good at all. The taste here was definitely missing. My pizza didn't even have sauce. The idea of sourdough crust was very appealing and the pizza was very good, however, the cost was big, the chicken wings were burned and there were artichokes on our Garlic Lover pizza. We didn't read that on their website. There are also no prices on their website. And while we paid FULL price make sure to ask for their special. If I had known that I might have paid half price. Overall decent pizza. Not as thin as New York but not as thick as Chicago. The taste of the sourdough was outdone by everything going on top of the crust. Not. Bad thing to be certain! Picked up some pizza for football watching on Sat night. Ordered on the phone on our way home and when we stopped to pick it up it was hot, fresh, and ready to go. Got a special of a specialty pizza and a med pepperoni for $26.99. Pretty good deal. Our specialty was something for everyone with four slices each of cheese, pepperoni, combination and Hawaiian. It was hot and tasty with plenty of toppings. Pretty good pizza, good price and ready when we got there. I'm happy with that read more

We have always been a fan of pier 49 pizza and during the pandemic I have become even a bigger fan. The pizza is fantastic and unlike anything else in town. We are big fans the wings, the hot and spicy are fantastic. The pizza we get most is the ghirardelli and the tourist. If you haven't tried spinach on a pizza you haven't lived. The owner and employees are great and care a lot about being clean and safe. So happy they are around during this time! read more

The staff here is awesome! We went in for an impromptu birthday party for my son, and they treated him like gold, they sang, they gave him a cake, they gave us GC to come back. The manager pretended to be Superman, because my son loves super hero's, it made his day so special and so fun! Not to mention the pizza is great! You just don't get service like this anymore. Ordered the garlic specialty pizza, they forgot to include the garlic or artichoke hearts. We also ordered a thin crust pizza and it was barely thinner than the regular crust pizza. Wings were terrible! They were very oily and rubbery, they tasted like they were cooked from raw in the microwave. read more

For years we ate here but tonight's pizza was a waste of $60. Sad the Chicken Alfredo wasn't at all like it has been in the past. Our pizzas had very little sauce that wasn't even garlicky. We went in at 11:00 am on a Wednesday and chose the buffet option. I asked for some of the pizza that was on their menu and the lady that was serving us said: "I'm not gonna make a pizza for just the two of you" because no one else was in the pizzeria. I was a bit surprised because we paid quite a bit for this buffet thing so I ate two pieces of pizza that I did not really enjoy either. As far as the selection goes, that was my other surprise: they only had 4 different halves of pizza cooked. I left disappointed. read more

Price is on point for the calories no doubt about that. I like their version of bbq chicken pizza. The place could have used some love in the dining room; the interior is new, just unclean. The pizza is decent, and the garlic bread is amazing. Website is TERRIBLE. There is no place to leave feedback, and the order system is glitchy. You can only have so many characters in your home address, so if you happen to have a long address you have to get creative with abbreviations. I'm not talking the typical abbreviations like Road to Rd, Court to Ct, or South to S. Do you live on Hempstead Road? Be prepared to type "HpStd Rd", and hope the person delivering your pizza knows where the hell that is. Once I finally made it through the tedious ordering process, the payment system wouldn't recognize my card as a Visa, even though I told it that I was using a Visa. I ended up abandoning the process and just called the store with my order, having to deal with the ADHD teenager on the phone who misheard every other word I said. Me: "Medium Pizza" Him: "Alright I have a large pizza. Anything else?" Me: "Punch yourself in the face." Bottom line is, if you're looking for the convenience of online ordering, go somewhere else. read more

I grew up eating Pier 49 pizza at a different location (though it seems they have closed many of their locations now) and have always loved it. My favorite pizza is the thin crust, but all of the pizzas are good. The only downside is that they are overpriced. read more

Went for lunch today. Ordered the 2 slice with salad, and they had no pizza ready, and told me it would take 15 minutes. He asked what slices I wanted, and didn't mention that I would need to keep returning to the counter to figure out when my pizza would be ready. I came up 15 minutes later, and was told that the pizza was served on a first come first serve basis, and that I could wait. I didn't have time to wait another 15 minutes, and so I ate the last 2 slices of pepperoni. I don't care for their pepperoni. This was not what I ordered, or what I asked for, and was not handled well. read more
