I needed to get a piercing removed and called "No Regrets" to find out if they would be able to do…read morethat. The male reception who answered the phone was very sweet and told me that they do and shared their hours with me. Its conveniently located in downtown Champaign and lucky me, I was able to nab one of the few parking spots right in front of the store. I went inside and "checked in" (they only accept walk in appointments for piercings, apparently) and after a 30 min wait was called back by Amber W. She was a thorough professional and very gentle. She removed my piercing with ease and helped me find a new piece to wear. Throughout the whole process she wore gloves and used a tissue to touch things when needed. I was very impressed by the hygiene protocols, and by Amber's calm and kind demeanor. If you're looking to get (or remove) a piercing, I would highly recommend Amber W but do expect a bit of a wait.

Today was my sister's 18th birthday. She decided to get a side labret and an eyebrow piercing…read more Tiffany said she was going to do the lip piercing first, so my sister sat back and Tiffany sanitized everything. She went ahead and pierced her lip, then tried to put the jewelry in, but it didn't go in. The barbell was stuck halfway in her lip. My sister took the needle like a champ, but then Tiffany started trying to push the barbell through with her fingers. It still wouldn't go through, so she decided to take the barbell out and try pushing it through from the inside of her lip. My sister started to sweat and was visibly very uncomfortable. After Tiffany still couldn't get it in, my sister had blood all over her mouth and it was dripping down her chin. Tiffany decided to grab a taper and try to shove that through. I have 20 piercings, and watching this happen made me start to feel dizzy. My sister started to look pale and her hands started to shake. I was the one to ask if she was okay. She said she was dizzy, so I said we should lay her back. Tiffany ignored me multiple times when I said she needed to be laid back, and she was still trying to push the taper through. Finally, she decided she should stop "messing with it." Then my sister started to sweat even more and say how hot she felt. Her eyes started to roll back and she passed out. She was out for about 10 seconds while I had to hold her head and Tiffany held her shoulders so she wouldn't fall out of the chair. All of that could've been avoided if she had been laid back like I had said multiple times. After she woke back up, Tiffany decided she would just re-pierce in the same spot. I said maybe we should do the other side of her lip instead. Instead of asking my sister if that's what she wanted to do, Tiffany just said "no." Nothing about this felt professional. It was honestly traumatic for me and my sister. Then Tiffany basically insisted it could be because of her hormones or because she "ate too much," not because she had been repeatedly stabbed by a barbell and a taper. She was nice for the most part, but this was so unbelievably unprofessional. I have been coming to No Regrets for years and had never experienced anything like this. It's not like my sister doesn't have many piercings--she can handle needles. She has both sides of her nose done and a stretched septum, along with a bunch of ear piercings. Not once has she ever passed out from being pierced. She still paid in full even after all of that. My sister and I will not be returning. Tiffany needs better training or needs to be fired! This was so unbelievably disappointing to witness.

The owner Matt TRIED to do a nose piercing on me. He pierced the FIRST time so high up, it looked…read morelike it was running away from my nose piercings on the opposite side. It was very obviously out of symmetry. Then, after I requested he redo it, he couldn't get the jewelry out of my nose. He used an instrument and was pulling, jerking and twisting on my nose ring to try to pull it out, because he did not know how to remove a corkscrew nose ring. I stopped him, hooked it and turned it and it came out easily. He then tried to re-pierce it below that piercing, and pulled the needle all the way through my nose, and then tried pushing the SAME nose ring through the fresh piercing, without the needle. All the while, I am sitting impressively still for someone whose nose is being shredded, and he yelled at me to sit still. While he was attempting to shove the jewelry in my nose with his fingers. As I am leaving holding wads of paper towels on my bloody nostril with one hand, holding my debit card with the other, I was prepared to say nothing, and let it go. Then he looks over at me and says "you know, YOU wanted it high up," in the most arrogant tone. I then said, "listen buddy, you ruined my nose, can you just run my card so I can pay and get the F out of here?" He then yells at me, "wow, are you serious?! I have been piercing for 22 years!" And STILL would not take my debit card. I told him I did not care about his ego and that I just wanted to pay and get out, to which he replied "really?!" After my hair turned grey, he finally charged my card. And I ended up having to go back because he left my ID in his scanner, which he also tried to blame me for. Save your nose, do not go

For anyone looking for a tattoo I highly don't recommend Matt Estock. He is very unprofessional. I…read morehave referred some people to him which is has done very dirty. Like first took me months to get my best friend in for her tattoo after him saying he would do it and then blowing me off to schedule the appointment. When we finally did my poor friend got covid he said he would reschedule after taking my deposit for it, which was a birthday gift. Well after numerous temps of trying to get him to reschedule cause he kept telling me let me check my book but never would get back to me. I reached out to him every week for like 3 weeks even though he posted daily he had all these openings so now I am out of 60 dollars he will not give back. Then my daughter inlaw schedule a tattoo with him 2 weeks ago paid her deposit then 2 days before her appointment she calls to double check her time and he tells her he is canceling her appointment. Come to find out he canceled it to put someone else in her spot then tried to refuse her deposit. If your thinking of him for ur tattoo I would highly recommend someone thats not shady. He is also very rude
