It is a small, picturesque 197-acre campus perched above the Huron River that runs through Ann Arbor. The chapel has a unique pyramid design with walls of stained glass within it and an immense pipe organ that you have to see to believe. The 1960s campus resembles a park and sits in the heart of the Lutheran Synod of Michigan. Entering after the CoVID, it seems like a quiet, relaxed atmosphere on campus. I like that they consistently tie their lessons to the Lutheran Faith. The online curriculum is not perfect and allowed me to build on skills that I was already familiar with and tried to steer me towards what I needed for my career. I think with the onset of the pandemic, they like most schools were negatively affected. I am currently working towards a Master's degree here online. Make sure to look into possible scholarships and aid to save money. I am giving it 3 stars because I have always been an adult student at this school and in Wisconsin. I cannot judge extracurricular activities and athletics. They do have a strong music program and do concerts on the banks of the river at times. Very nice. From their website: The institution was originally established as Concordia Lutheran Junior College but underwent multiple name changes over time. The institution changed its name to Concordia College when it began offering four-year degree programs in 1976, and ultimately became Concordia University Ann Arbor in 2001. In July 2013, a strategic partnership between CUAA and Concordia University Wisconsin became official. Within the first years after the merger, the campus underwent major renovations and enhancements, including to residence halls, the student union, athletic fields, and the dining hall. In 2015, the university purchased a former law school building located just over two miles north of the main campus. The "North Building" now houses the campus' School of Nursing, the first fully accredited academic school opened by Concordia since its merger with CUW. Coupled with expanding academic programs and athletic offerings, enrollment reached an all-time high at Concordia University Ann Arbor during the 2017-18 academic year with a total of 1,081 students. Since 2013, CUAA's enrollment has grown more than 60 percent, and in 2017 it earned a spot among the fastest-growing private universities in the Midwest.

BEWARE IF UR CHILD IS SIGNING AT CONCORDIA! Shame on you…read moreConcordia University! After all the money given to you , you're going to send out a email to the nursing students set to graduate next year and say you're folding your program. Not only did these kids bust there ass to get where they are, but they're in the mists of studying and doing clinics to now have to worry where there next semester will be. They had to take your ridiculous religion classes that does nothing for them to transfer out but to create more debt. Beyond upset parent! On top of it we found out they are cutting a bunch of sports so her boyfriend received the same email after being there for 2 years so now he has to find a college.

The location is very convenient for other campus buildings and there is food and Starbucks available inside. I often sit in the Winter Garden because it is most accessible, but there is a lot of hidden spots if you time some time to explore.

It is a clean, quiet, modern, and green hotel that is perfect for the business traveler. There is a fitness room and lounge areas, and an awesome market on the first floor that has excellent coffee, friendly staff, and probably the best steel cut oatmeal for only $1.50! I also liked the fact that it had an easy-to-use coffee maker with Green Mountain Coffee, Tea, and Hot Chocolate, and you had free bottled water that was always replenished. The housekeeping staff was excellent. I'm refraining from giving it five stars for a few reasons. First of all, the parking was inconvenient. The hotel is next to a parking lot that charges $1.50 per hour and there didn't seem to be a way out of this (in fact, my room overlooked the top level of the parking lot, which was painful considering I couldn't park there!). So, guests were encouraged to park on the streets, but there was no loading/unloading/check-in zone in front of the hotel. The residential area is gorgeous and safe, but the only reason why I found any parking at all (sometimes in excess of two blocks away, which is tough with luggage) was because school wasn't in session yet. Fortunately, I wasn't fighting with students over parking spots. Second of all, this really is for business travelers. The beds were 3 inches smaller than a normal queen and there were no other size beds--so don't plan on bringing guests if you want a good night sleep! Otherwise, the beds are super comfy. Thirdly, the rooms were small, but not quite NYC small. It was comfortable enough, as long as you don't expect to spend much time there during the day. Finally, the fitness room could stand to have more equipment. It was very clean with a fridge full of water in environmentally friendly bottles, but it filled up fast by 6am if the hotel was at capacity. I expected more for $150/night in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but you do pay for convenience. Also, you can't beat how friendly and helpful the folks are in Michigan!

The law libary is perhaps one of the best places to study on the whole campus. Unlike the Ugli which is where people go to pretend to study and the Hatcher graduate library which can get seriously quiet and spooky later at night (sometimes attracting folks like the Unabomber who was a grad student at Michigan), the Law Library offers a good balance of being able to see other people around and a general 'no loud noises' rule to maintain a good productive vibe. With its cathedral like ceiling, it's a beautiful place to sit with only a mild hum of noise that feels like white noise to help you get serious work done.

The courtyard has a quiet, old feel which both holds some awe to it but also feels really relaxing. Then there is the library...oh the '70's! The green carpet is a little hard on the eyes, but it definitely made me want to return for put-put golf in the library (one of the school's fundraisers). Another fascinating feature is the stained glass windows of crimes and other aspects of the law. From the stained glass window depicting murder to that depicting debt collectors dragging away a person who was going bankrupt... I don't think the windows were originally intended to be comical, but I found them hilarious. The law quad is really cool to visit. Go blue!
