Tip for those still planning your weddings: give genres and SPECIFIC artists you want the DJ to play throughout the night! The absolute highlight of everyone's night was the Photo Booth, which was manned by Jeff's dad, Chris (?? It was loud and hard to hear - sorry if I got his name wrong!). He was so sweet giving us ideas on how to pose for the different shots, made sure everyone got a copy of photos, put together the ENTIRE scrapbook for us, AND made sure everyone signed/write a message for us. The scrapbook was we filled from front to back with messages and photos, and it's something we will cherish and look back on for the rest of our lives. I was a little surprised that none of the servers seemed to notice that we had sat down and were eating but were missing many of the things from the regular settings. No one asked if we needed water or coffee, and we were completely skipped over when they served cake. In all fairness though, we did arrive an hour late and, with people mingling, it would be hard to know whether we had just arrived or whether we had simply moved from our table to chat with others. That single complaint aside, the food was good, the space was lovely, and the family members who organized the shower had nothing but good things to say about having had it here. (In fact, they had switched from another venue to this one.) I'm a firm believer in reviews that give you the big picture experience. And that I think that experience here is 5 stars. I have 4 daughters. My oldest daughter got married on September 3rd 2023. She had her sisters plan…read moreher wedding and even pick the venue, which was to be a surprise to her, on the day of the wedding. I had suggested to the girls to choose Buducci's, on the recommendation of a friend. This wound up being a HUGE mistake! We met with Vincenne last year, to discuss pricing and other details. She gave us a price and said that if we booked at that time, we would be locked in at that price, so after some phone tag and some time passing because she was out of town, she was provided a deposit and we booked. She also said if there was no event going on the day before, that we could decorate a day ahead. As we got closer to the date of the wedding, we contacted her. We were told that the price had gone up. The girls just let that go, even though we were supposed to be "locked in", and attributed it to covid, and seemingly everything costing more now. She said that there wasn't an event the day before the wedding but that she would not be in town so we couldn't decorate the day before. Since we would be decorating the day of, we asked if we could have the girls get ready there, that way we would save time and do it all at once. She agreed until A FEW DAYS before the wedding, she informed my girls that we could decorate the day before because she made arrangements to "accommodate us." Great! But we still needed to get ready there because we had our timeline situated and it didn't account for transportation and we told the photographer, hair and makeup we'd be doing it there. When we verified we would still be getting ready there, she said no, she ASSUMED that meant we'd be getting ready at home. This was because Vincenne was now attending another wedding the day before and, while she kept insisting she was accommodating us, it became clear she was trying to accommodate no one but herself. No one would be there to let us in. When my daughter told Vincenne that this would be a huge inconvenience, since everything had already been planned, she got quite snippy with my daughter on the phone, telling her she hadn't even spoken to the bride yet, and hadn't received a check yet. My daughter reminded her, that this was a surprise for the bride, and also told her that she would be willing to bring her a check right then and there, if she would only give her an exact TOTAL, which she had not given as of yet. Then Vincenne said just give it to her on the day of the wedding. When my daughter spoke to her again, she said we could get ready the day of, at a business that is right next door to the venue, but made sure that she complained to my daughter that it would be a huge inconvenience for the owner of that business for us to use the space. She then also said that we could in fact decorate the day before, but she would have to pay someone to be there while we did so. Who cares!! Don't go back in your word and then complain when you have to somehow accommodate!! Then, here we are, the day of the wedding. We had the venue until 11:00 p.m. but at 8:30 there is Vincenne, taking down tables in the corner, suddenly the bright lights go on, making it look to our guests like it's time to "close up shop!" The open bar time frame had just ended and it switched to a cash bar. Well we had 3 people standing in line to get drinks while Vincenne had the bartender taking down our dessert table, so there was no bartender!!!! Our guests just went and sat down without getting a drink. In our videos of our family on the dance floor, we have Vincenne rolling her cart in the middle of the video collecting things off the tables. I would not recommend this venue to my worst enemy!! In my 67 years, I have NEVER come across anyone running a business, that was so unprofessional, rude and ignorant!! I had read a few reviews saying that she had unexpectedly shut down events and made people leave. But since we saw more good reviews than bad, and it being recommended by a friend, we decided to go with this venue. Like I said ... HUGE mistake!!! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place!

We hired Andrea Ball as our "day of" coordinator for a wedding in the Buffalo, NY area and she did…read morean outstanding job that made our wedding so much more enjoyable as she took so much of the stress out of it. While we did much of the vendor selection and planning (site, florist, cake) on our own, Andrea reviewed contracts for us, came with us to planning meetings, and recommended vendors for areas we had not yet found one. She found people on short notice when things came up (e.g. piano player for our cocktail reception) and made sure that we had thought through all the issues for the day of our wedding. But the real value was on the day of the wedding. Andrea had everything moving on time, with little stress, and it just made things move by so smoothly. Andrea has great working relationships throughout the area which adds to her value in making sure things get done without a hitch -- and if there is a hitch - she'll fix it before it becomes a problem. Worth every penny and then some.

Our Society rented space from this club for the past 3 years. Until now, we had been satisfied…read moreusing this space to hold our Annual Plant Sale. We never needed a contract and squared up with the Manager Nick T. Prior to using the space. We have always rented the space for the same time duration. This year the Italian club decided to stock and man the bar in the room. We usually use it to hold our lunch pizza or sandwiches but we were told "No" because it was a bar. We did not ask for this. Out Sale goes from 10 am to 2 pm. Our customers as well as ourselves don't attend this event to drink. They made NO money. Maybe that's why the next thing happened.... 3 of our women who handled the check out for the sale were the last to leave after we cleaned up the space. They were accosted at the door as they were leaving. The Manager Nick chased after shaking them down for more money for the space stating " we went 2 hours over the agreed time according to the contract and wanted another $150 or he would call the Police. ". These poor ladies felt threatened and intimidated but asked to see the contract since the person in charge of renting from our organization had already left. Well it was a gentlemens agreement with no contract, but nonetheless the Manager went and typed up a contract and demanded they sign it or Police would be involved. Our representative didn't want any trouble, signed and wrote a check out for another $150. We will NEVER go back to this club and from this day forward will always do a contract. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TREATMENT

I recently rented The Lake Erie Italian Club for a fundraiser for the Hamburg Mutts for Freedom Dog…read moreRescue, Trivia Night. This venue is deceptive from the outside; it is much more spacious than you would imagine! The large room can hold nearly 300 people and the smaller room about half that number. I was impressed that the cost of rental included all of the set up/take down for tables (round or rectangle, your choice) and chairs; unlike our venue of last year. We were allowed early access and had the entire day to set the room for Trivia, the raffle and dinner. The kitchen is spacious, well appointed and clean! Grace, the manager, was beyond helpful! She loaned us a number of dishes, put flowers on the tables, made the coffee and even helped advertise the event to their regular BINGO people! I could see this Club as a place for weddings, with it's lovely wooden bar, large rooms and parking lot, and grove at the back. The Lake Erie Italian Club is a gem....and so is Grace!

Everyone was right-it was delicious! I ordered the fruit/cheese tray as well as the veggie platter and was able to pick both up earlier than our scheduled party time. Mike delivered the food hot and even set up. It was so nice having the plates, silverware and even salt/pepper included . No clean up ! I ordered for 25 people but we had so much food left over that everyone went home with something. So happy with the quality , quantity, and delivery. No one left our house hungry thats for sure!
