We were lucky enough to see a group of deer which appear to make their home not far from the cabin. This was our first trip with Cosby Creek Cabins, I'm confident there will be more to come! Definitely recommend this one!!

This is a long one... First of all let me say thanks for…read moreruining our birthday and anniversary weekend get away. Our issues started by us getting lost and driving around in a circle for an hour due to poor directions provided, ( and do not say that we cannot read, your emailed directions state to come to a "Y" in the road, when it is a "T" and you need to turn to the right. We go in and do a preliminary walk through, which is a normal thing for me to do, we discover the TV does not work, just comes up to a blank screen, (no network available), so I make a call to the office and have to leave a message. Almost immediately after I hang up, my huband tells me to call back because the hot tub would not come on, before I call the office again, I look for a disconnect for it and could not find one, and then check the breaker to make sure that it was not tripped, which it wasn't, so I call the office again and leave another message. I get a call back about 5 minutes later from the property manager. When I tell him that there are issues, including bad directions, he gets hateful and states, "well there is nothing wrong with our directions, no one has ever gotten lost going up there." I then talk about the TV and hot tub not working and proceed to tell him that we have already checked the breaker in the panel box for the hot tub and that it was not tripped, and that the TV says no network on it. He then rudely states "well if it is that bad pack up and leave." I had read the previous reviews and had seen that he has done this to others in the past. They did get someone up there quickly, so kudos for that. Other issues we had were: Queen bed sags to the middle so bad that we moved down to the couch and the twin bed at 3am. Ceiling fan too low to bed 3 1/2 to 4ft up. Sleeper sofa, hard as a rock, could not sleep there. Kitchen sink faucet so loose that you cannot temp the water properly, got scalded several times. Shower has very little to no pressure. Toilet is loose and swivels. Shower curtain had a stain on it (dried toothpaste, soap, or bodily fluids) Kitchen pots and pans have loose handles, about to come apart. Trash and debris all around the outside of the cabin. Loud ORV / side by side driving and revving engine at all hours of the night, stopping and sitting by the cabin. Dust on all the blinds, mantle, light fixtures (cleaning person must be very short or never looks up) I felt like if I had have called back to the office, that the property Mgr would have been rude again. I was so upset all weekend that I did not enjoy myself, did not relax, nor rest. Needless to say, unless there are major changes, we will not be back! $300+ for 2 nights is bs, and then charged a fee for cleaning, and the cabin was cleaner when we left than it was when we got there. I feel that we should be refunded no less than 1/2 of what we paid, due to all of the above. Y'all came highly recommended from a local friend, that was embarrassed when we told them all the issues.

Have made so many precious memories of our times together. Pictures of the great grandkids growing from year to year. Taking turns making meals & the fun & of exchanging gifts. The dirty Santa gift swap. Wouldn't trade it for anything. Jeanette is a fantastic hostess. Couldnt be more helpful. Have come to regard her as a friend. Cabins are the best. Will continue as long as we are physically able. Leaving today for a rare 3 night stay on a summer vacation at cabin #3. Can't wait. Highly recommend to all.

We wish we could buy one for ourselves lol. The views aren't substantial, but the location was prime for reaching all of our destinations easily. This layout and floor plan easily accommodated all of us comfortably. If you are worried about space, don't even sweat it. I bet it could fit double with zero issues. All the amenities worked and Jeanette is so timely in responses and getting our needs met. There is something for everyone, seriously. The only bad thing you could possibly say is that the roads to get into the cabins is a bit confusing and a bit technical to drive with a full size truck and trailer. However, once you're in, you just hate to leave. I found at the end of every long day of riding, I was so happy to get to come home to Wildflower cabin #1 as my home. We checked in with friends who rented another cabin #7 and they raved about it as well. Look no further for your family lodging needs, this is the place you are looking for! =)

The view of the Creek was amazing and being able to hear the water while the cabin doors were open was so peaceful! Hands down would stay here again! Now for the not so good parts which would not keep us from staying here again and I plan to call and let Parkside know of these things, bc I feel it's just stuff that is overlooked. 1. The bread toaster was broke 2. The sofa bed was broken and we had to work to get it in and out. 3. There was only a sheet for the the sofa bed no extra pillows blankets or linens for it luckily we had blankets so we didn't call to request any but I'm sure if we had they would have brought them. 4. Not a big deal but I do wish they cleaned up around the creek waters/area, the parts of the creek above and below us were so beautiful where even though ours was gorgeous it was damned up in areas from the waters rising and falling. But that was it! Overall this was an amazing stay for us!

This is a cabin rental property by Parkside Rentals…read more I do have to say that based on mixed reviews for cabins by Parkside rentals (on Parkside Rentals yelp page), I was hesitant but hoped for the best with our cabin. Check in was 4pm and checkin location is approximately 12 miles from the actual cabin. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised! I mean it is a bit outdated and could use some updating but overall impressive! Nice to live the country cabin life for a week. The best part is the creek in the back!! You can even hear it from inside the cabin. The back porch is huge and does that a private patio area for the master suite. Plenty of yard area for the dogs to roam. The hot tub was clean and nice for the girls to enjoy even though it was cold outside. The beds were soft and comfy. They gave us toiletries, including dish soap and laundry detergent! Love that there was heat since it was in the 30-40s so our cabin was so nice and cozy! Cookware and plates, utensils are all stocked. Freezer makes ice. Washer and dryer in the closet made it nice to wash our laundry. They even have a game area and fire pit out back that's covered. Firewood is provided in a small shack outside the front door. The main door is keyless, you have to have a code to enter to unlock the door. And should you need anything, just dial the main number for Parkside and they'll deliver extras or send maintenance. Improvements: Suggest they give more towels than just 2 per room for an entire week. Also could use some replacement shower heads (they sprayed all over the place and made not so pleasant noise when running), lighting - the porch light out back blinked until it cut out and stopped working. This made it difficult and scary to take the dogs out at night and early morning before sunrise. Not sure what wildlife is out there and don't want to put my fur babies in harms way. A little extra cleaning would be nice also, the floors were a bit dirty as our socks were black on the bottom after walking around. The dish drainer was dirty, you could see the dirt on it so I didn't use. Dried the dishes in the dishwasher instead. FYI, there appears to be a few homes in the area and there were 2 random dogs roaming around when we first arrived, came into the property and barking at us but as we approached they ran away lol. Just saying to be careful. Overall great cabin. Peaceful. Friendly staff. Recommend.

With the majestic Smoky Mountains as a backdrop even a ramshackle lean-to with a poly tarp for a…read moreroof would be sufficient. But for many - as with my family - a getaway should feature a bit more. And more is exactly what you get from a stay at Lee's Cabin. My wife, toddler daughter, and I have been blessed to be guests at the cabin this week. Our initial interaction with the owner was a very comfortable one and the hospitality was consistent and appreciated. Ginger is beyond a cabin owner. She is a hostess with the absolute 'mostess' and is a huge practitioner of customer service and care. Upon arrival we were greeted with a fall display just off the porch complete with straw bales, a scarecrow, and some pumpkins. What a way to say "hello!" Once in the cabin the greeting continued with a beautiful autumn hearth display and autumn smells. This theme continued with the dining table centerpiece, and a few other knick-knacks. Now this being our 9th or 10th cabin rental in the mountains we are beyond being impressed simply by black bear statues, oversized furniture, antler lamps, and folksy signage. We want a bit more creature comfort and substance. We found that with a large, flat screen TV in the living area, a pool table, a flat screen in the master bedroom (in viewing range of both the fireplace and the jet tub), washer/dryer facilities, a well stocked kitchen (minus the food, of course, but with things like a blender, knife block, and fiestaware-like dishes), ceiling fans to circulate the air, and - most importantly for our device happy family - fast and reliable WiFi (13.35 Mbps download and 2.41 Mbps upload). I would like to say our first few hours were spent admiring the view and the seclusion of the cabin itself. Alas, it was not. Instead we took turns (one-at-the-time for maximum enjoyment) soaking in the jet tub and watching television. For a family-on-the-go, it was a rather great way to start our time. Afterwards we took in the sweeping views on the back porch while rocking away in 1 of 3 wooden, rocking chairs. With a hot cup of coffee, no forced conversation, and the crisp air...well, you can't book time like that! Other standouts of Lee's Cabin for us were the comfortable beds (one downstairs and one upstairs) and cozy sheet sets, EXCELLENT water pressure in both showers (one upstairs and one downstairs), a grill/smoker on the back deck, a breakfast bar/countertop to enjoy afternoon hors d'oeuvres on, maps and menus of the area, and a prime parking spot just at the front porch entrance! We certainly have enjoyed our time here (and even had clean laundry to return home with!) and look forward to a future opportunity at Lee's Cabin. NOTE: If you are like me and tend to forget things like shaving cream, soap, and even laundry detergent, no worries. Ginger has thought of everything leaving each guest (or so it seems) with coffee pods and condiments, soap, shampoo, and bath gel in the bathrooms, plenty of fresh linens, single-use laundry detergent and dryer sheets, and there is even a sanitary seal on the toilet seats!

I've counted like 6 cabins here on the campground, of which none are pictured like the one in the previous review. Perhaps they have another area I've not seen? Anyhow. We are located right behind the pavilion. When we first arrived, the pavilion was packed with people gathered making homemade ice cream. Although we were invited, we declined so we can get unpacked and head out to dinner. We went to the pool as well, our son had a blast. It was salty, which after some research discovered it's most likely from the use of liquid chlorine, no big deal. The cabin itself. It's small, cozy and clean. Loved the little kitchen area, with the mini fridge and coffee pot. It has a futon as well, which we pulled out for our son to sleep on. The shower is extremely small, which it was difficult to get my son in there with me for a quick wash after the pool. I'll have to remember to make sure places have a tub for our little one(s). I went to move the shower head and water squirt out of the top, so I quickly left it alone. The bed, ehh. Not that comfy, but more comfortable than if we camped out in a tent The pillows were mediocre, so we went and got a few pillows of our own. Overall, the cabin is nice. It's simple & it's exactly what was pictured online. Had extra blankets, towels, silverware, etc. The cabin itself is for sure my favorite part. I do appreciate that unlike a hotel, they don't bother with cleaning until you leave. Which I like. Overall, I wouldn't want to be located near the pavilion again. I'd like to see where the cabin is the other reviewer spoke of. But in general, based on personal taste & nothing against Arrow Creek, we will likely look for something more secluded next time. So, I will say, it's Monday night & we leave tomorrow. It was extremely quiet outside tonight. I barely seen or heard anyone at all. Perhaps the noise was from everybody celebrating the 4th.

That was 41 years ago but we spent time up here for our 40th anniversary this year - using them exclusively since we found them about 20 years ago. I think the ownership went thru change since we've been coming here but we exclusively and use them at least 3-4 times a year. Their special for last minute trips is incredible. After 20 years, 3-4 times a year (so we've stayed in most of them), each one has always been clean as a whistle. We have figured that we have stayed with them over 60 trips. At least. We've never stayed with anyone else the past 20 years! Our favorite place is at the top of the mountain at the water tower. However three of the four we always stayed at and liked the best, all but one was burned down in the Gatlinburg Fire of 2016. It burned down to their concrete footprint. They finally got one of them rebuilt and just opened back up so we are leaving Friday to go there. It's at the very top of the mountain and you can see for miles and miles. Yet it is only 5 min from the Parkway, behind Dollywood. You would think a cabin on the to of the mountain with its incredible view would be miles from the Parkway but it's only a short 5-8 minutes. I can never praise their staff enough. They are awesome people to work with. Some of our favorite restaurants we never miss are the Applewood for bfast, Guy Fieri's restaurant and arcade ( this is awesome and relatively new and great to go because there is a Crumbl and Ice Cream shop next door that are for that sweet tooth we always seem to get worse up there), Chop House, Cherokee Grill (Gburg), Ogles Farmers Kitchen ( I think this is the name. It right close to going in for Applewood. We've just recently found this and have been multiple times), The Pottery Barn Cafe is usually our first place we hit coming into town. There is also Paula Deens, Chop House, and Johnny Carino's. This is just for starters. Stay here and you won't regret it!!!
