Very impressed! Patient & informative, these folks are 100% in it for you! We needed a water hose to use, Done! We needed wood to level our pop-up, Done! (They even let us use their golf cart to transport). When we where thinking of staying longer they were trying to work it out for us if they could. Great pool and hot tub! Clean showers and restrooms. Too many good things to mention.

    Bright light outside my tent

Disclaimer: We were tent camping not RV. The RV guests seemed very happy. I would not at all take my review into account if you are using an RV If you are looking for a place to camp with a tent, this is not the place to do it. Part of the issue is that I didn't do enough research, but being an experienced camper I've never in my life paid $32 a night to pitch a tent. I wasn't told the price when I called to make a reservation. I also needed a campground with wifi, and when I called I specifically asked if I would get good wifi reception in the tent area and was told absolutely. When I checked in it was made clear that I wouldn't get good wifi and that I'd probably need to come closer to the office for reception. Also there was a very bright yellow light right next to our site that was on all night, and you can hear traffic from the road all night as well. The bathrooms are really really nice though, the other guests are really quiet. And the actually site itself, other than the light, was nice. Overall I was really frustrated that I paid $64 to camp for two nights. It's ridiculous and honestly a complete rip off.

Beautiful small private campground. Well maintained, spotless bathroom. Laundry room with 2 washer/dryers. Staff helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Nice play area for kids and swimming pool/hot tub! About a 10 min drive into Gatlinburg.

Lots of sites where decorated with lights and decorations for Halloween and Fall. There were activities for the kids and lots of play areas. We personally did not utilize these as our kids are grown, but hopefully grand kids are around the corner! The bathrooms were well above average for a busy campground. They were clean and well maintained with toilet, sink, and shower areas. Garbage pickup was taken care of each morning by friendly staff. With a busy Saturday hiking to Leconte and back we did not get to roam about and take it all in like we would like, so we will definitely consider coming back here again.

It was last minute, and as we were coming down hit a massive storm, so we were going to be late checking in. Not only was the lady on the phone extremely kind and helpful, she offered me directions and allowed us to check-in late. The tent site was HUGE. It was beautiful, and we just got the basic tent site. You can also get one on a deck by the stream or by the trout pond--I super recommend the trout pond. Next time, we're going that way. The people who work there are so kind, and the area is awesome--lots of things to do if you have kids, and if you;re just hanging about, the mountains are a hop away. Showers and bathrooms are massively nice and were always clean. I couldn't rant about this place enough--definitely worth every penny.

As their website says (www.arrowcreekcamp.com) they are in fact a "well maintained family campground convenient to Dollywood, music theaters, the Arts and Crafts Community, antique and craft shops, factory outlet malls, hiking, horseback riding, trout fishing, churches, and Bent Creek Golf Course." While staying here we visited Dollywood, Pigeon Forge (in general), the Apple Barn Cider Miller & General Store, Cade's Cove, Greenbriar Trail, and other stops. None were far away at all. When we first found Arrow Creek online it was through a general Google search. We were attracted by the images of the pool and the playground. Because I work from home we are always concerned with WiFi options and because we have a 3-year old daughter we are always looking for easy access entertainment for her. Arrow Creek has both. In fact, the pool is quite nice and in full sun. It is always clean and doesn't seem to be overly chlorinated. The playground is divided into two sections: one for toddlers (including a small trampoline) and one for older kids. The WiFi is impressive. With a central router at the office there are no less than 3 booster antennas that carry a quick, reliable, signal to the rest of the park. As we were preparing to book we read some other reviews on Arrow Creek, which accused the park of being "old, cramped, and dirty" and "noisy and crowded." Some accused the park of being poorly maintained; having too may lots for its size, and having too many old campers that seems run down. After arriving we did notice that perhaps 55% of the campground is unavailable due to long-term residents or storage. But I understand this as having long-term stays and storage allow for year round revenue which is necessary for most mom-and-pop's to stay alive in today's economy. 3 or 4 of the units were old, yes, and 2 were what I found to be unsafe and perhaps dirtier than I would like to see (borderline sketchy, even) but at the same time, I don't check in to a campground to feel like I am staying at a Camping World showroom. Everyone has their own standards, their own budget, and their own rig. It is not for me to judge that or to say they can or can't be camping because of it. When we made our reservation our interaction (both phone and email) with the owners - Jimmy and Ginger Cooper - was exceptional. They are both generous, fun, easy-going people who ultimately showed my family remarkable hospitality. The price we were quoted for our stay was honored when we arrived with no problems and we received two emails (one just before our time to check in) from Arrow Creek to confirm our reservation. The bathroom facilities were above average. The shower stalls are travertine tile with clean curtains, changing room, good pressure, and ample hot water. The commode stalls are a bit small but are good enough. There was always toilet paper and the commodes themselves were always clean without fail. The double vanity in the men's room was a bit shabby and aging but the water was clean, the faucets worked well, and the hand dryer was sanitary. With a full bathroom in our travel trailer this added facility was all we needed. The washer specifically is a bit expensive at $2.50/load but they are large machines so we got by just fine and on budget. Dryer loads are $1 per cycle. There is also a Pepsi machine and an ice-cream vending machine available 24/7. Would we stay here again? Yes. Do we usually stay at a place more than once? Not usually. There is a lot in the nation to explore. Would we recommend it to you? Yes. * GPS Coordinates: Latitude : 35.763197 | Longitude : -83.308623 * Physical Address: 4721 East Pkwy, Gatlinburg, TN 37738 * For Reservations: www.arrowcreekcamp.com/Contact.php * Phone Number for Information: 1-888-3827769 * Rate as of Sept 1, 2014: 30-amp full hook-up with cable TV = $33.50/night. 50-amp full hook-up with cable TV = $38.50 * Weekly Rate: $225.50 (including tax) * Monthly Rate: Call for details * Military Discounts: No * Other Discounts: Call for details * Site Pad Material: Gravel * Water: Yes, included with daily rate * Electricity: Yes, included with daily rate * Sewer: Yes, included with daily rate * Laundry: Yes * Cable TV: Yes * Wi-fi: Yes. The campground has a serious rat problem, and because of it, our RV was damaged. This issue should have been prevented and properly addressed by management. This is not a kid-friendly place at all. Children are constantly being reprimanded for simply acting like kids. The property manager, Jessica, is rarely ever on-site. She is quick to complain and issue notices, but almost never available when residents actually need help. In contrast, the maintenance manager Daniel and his wife Becca are always around, responsive, and willing to help whenever needed. They are the only reason many issues get addressed. Residents are charged random fees with little explanation. Then management claims payments are late in order to tack on additional charges. Eviction notices seem to be handed out every couple of weeks whenever a new charge is added. The bathhouses are extremely outdated and honestly look like something out of an old horror movie. The cabins are old, poorly maintained, and some reportedly have black mold. During our stay, someone even passed away in one of the cabins. Management claims to conduct background checks, but some of the individuals staying here make that difficult to believe. Overall, this has been a terrible experience. Between the rats, questionable fees, poor management, outdated facilities, and lack of concern for residents, I would not recommend this campground to anyone.

Greenbrier Campground is fantastic in so many ways and absolutely deserves to be enjoyed by everyone. We rented the deluxe cabin that sleeps 4, which has a wraparound porch overlooking the river, plus a fire pit and grill. There are chairs everywhere--two on the side porch, two with a table on the front porch for morning coffee with a view, and five Adirondacks around the fire pit. The cabin itself is newly built and really sturdy, more like a tiny home. Inside you'll find a couch, a dining table with bench seating, and a kitchen with a 2-stool peninsula. The kitchen is fully stocked: plates, cups, bowls, silverware, pots and pans, can opener, toaster--you name it. A skinny staircase leads up to the loft, which is about 36" at the highest point before the beams. It has an outlet, light switch, windows on each side, and two firm twin foam mattresses. Surprisingly comfy--and super fun for kids. Our 3-year-old loved it. The bathroom was spotless with great storage between the counter and medicine cabinet, and the shower was a good size. The master bedroom has a Fire TV, tons of shelving, and plenty of outlets. As for the amenities: you get river access, a game room, and a playground. It's also very dog-friendly, with poop stations and a dog run, which we appreciated. What really stands out? * Service: The staff are incredible and make you feel right at home. * Upkeep: They genuinely care about their property. Everything inside and out is immaculate, and they enforce the 5mph and noise rules so everyone stays safe and comfortable. * Pricing: Super fair--especially if you have dogs! Downsides (and I really had to reach): * Bed: I'm pretty sure the master bed is a full, not a queen. I brought flat sheets, but it definitely felt smaller than a queen. * Shower curtain: It's adorable, but it tends to cling to you while you're showering. * Pocket doors: You need to slide the door all the way and hold it while locking until it catches. They're just a little loud, especially with a toddler sleeping in the loft since sound travels. I've honestly never stayed anywhere so clean and welcoming. Next time we'll probably book the deluxe cabin that sleeps 6, and we can't wait to come back. They anticipate everything you might need and truly care about you having an enjoyable stay. I can't recommend Greenbrier Campground enough!
