My lunch plate was pulled pork with two sides: greens and creamy coleslaw. All three were generous portions. There's a smoker behind the restaurant so evidently FOTB smokes its own meats. However, the sandwich lacked smoky taste, or maybe it was covered by the sweet sauce. "Creamy" defines the coleslaw, almost to being too creamy. Still tasty, though. The greens, though, were awesome. They have a pretty okay amount of spirits including whiskeys. It's about $10 for an Impossible Burger. We got these and had to choose our toppings. Also these come with a side such as fries. Pretty good amount of food for an okay price. Among the other items on the menu is fish. They have plenty of burgers as well as Po Boy sandwiches. Also there's soups and plenty of shareable appetizers. They also have desserts such as pie. For sure it's one of the nicer restaurants in the area. It's closed Sundays and Mondays. While traveling for an away college football game we did a search for food and found this gem…read more Upon entering the facility layout is relatively open with booths on the left, tables in the middle and bar to the right. They have a table for a large group in the front of the facility as well as slots. We asked what was our servers favorite choice from the menu was and also if the specialty pizzas could be made into a calzone. The favorite item is the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and yes, we were able to make a BBQ chicken calzone. So we ordered the chicken, bacon ranch sandwich with homemade chips, bbq chicken calzone and our son had the Buffalo Chicken Ranch calzone and a soda The food presentation was fantastic and truly looked delicious. I didn't think the sandwich was something I'd get again. It really didn't have much flavor, as if the chicken wasn't seasoned. Had it been the sandwich may be better. The BBQ chicken calzone though. That was absolutely delicious and when we arrived home we heated that up in the air frier and it was just a delicious. I do recommend check out Sloan's Calzones if your are ever in the area. Get a calzone, you cannot go wrong. Facility was clean, condiments were clean, food was delicious and service was top notch!
