I had been waffling back and forth about whether to get my brows microbladed for about a year. I have fairly light brows and typically wear light makeup, which consists of quickly penciling in my brows. I didn't think I needed microblading, but I always considered it a "could be nice" factor. Yet I never went forward with the procedure because I was scared about being stuck with a semi-permanent tattoo that I didn't like. But one day, while waiting for my mother at her lash appointment with Monica, I browsed through Monica's lookbook of previous work and saw the perfect natural microblading look. I told Monica I liked the natural style and decided to schedule my appointment for shortly after. At my first microblading appointment, she walked me through the process and drew the ideal brow shape for my face. I loved it! She proceeded with the microblading, which was painless since she used a numbing cream on the brows, and within an hour I was done. Monica then gave me detailed instructions about how to care for my brows and tools for the healing process. At the touchup session (included in the initial cost) a month later, she added more strokes and cleaned up/evened out the brows.
