I've been to a few ClubPilates locations now and this one is still my favorite ! All the…read moreinstructors are amazing and make the classes so fun. The whole energy feels welcoming and even if you're new, they definitely make you feel at home. Even the front desk is very kind and helpful! The studio is spacious so you don't feel so close to others which is something I never thought of as important but after going to other studios, it is something nice to have. If you're looking for a new Pilates to try or even start, this place will definitely make you fall in love with Pilates !

My experience with Club Pilates…read more I joined with no injuries and paid $49 to enroll + $109 for a membership that includes only 4 classes per month. They also put pressure on you to sign up immediately after a half-class "trial", warning that if you don't commit on the spot, the initial enrollment fee will be higher. After just my second class, I developed significant pain in my right knee and decided I didn't want to risk making it worse. I asked to cancel. The answer? Pay another $109 + a $100 termination fee. That's $367 for two classes -- and I left with knee pain and the very disappointing feeling that whether I got hurt at their studio mattered very little. What seemed to matter most was that I paid. The most surprising part? Their own contract states that exercise involves the risk of "SERIOUS INJURY," yet an injury doesn't allow you to cancel without penalty unless you become permanently disabled. If you're considering Club Pilates, read all six pages of the contract carefully before signing. Know exactly what happens if you get injured and decide you don't want to continue. For me, two classes were enough.

She motivated me to get back in shape so I started working out about three months after her. She asked me to go with her to Pilates a few times and I wasn't really interested. Probably because I didn't think it's a guy thing, didn't want to be the only guy in class and enjoyed my workouts. I decided to go to a class with my wife and I was shocked. I got a great workout, was sore for about two days, had fun working out together and now I'm hooked. Elena, the instructor is awesome. If you're going to try this, find a class she's teaching because she's the best. She's very personable, helpful, challenges you, teaches you and makes the class fun. I was a professional hockey instructor for fifteen years and felt like I had pretty good agility, balance and muscle strength but it was put to the test (in a good way) in her class. I have an ongoing shoulder and knee injury that prevent me from doing some traditional weight lifting but I've been able to make strength gains in this class thanks to Elena. You will gain upper body, lower body and core strength in addition to agility, balance and flexibility. I think the best part is you'll be smiling the whole time you're sweating and you'll feel it for a few days after each class. There are a lot of ladies in the class and a few guys but everyone is working to hard to pay attention to anyone else and they're all very welcoming. Guys...if your wife or girlfriend ask you to join them, I highly recommend checking it out; just make sure it's a class Elena is teaching!
