I LOVE the workouts, every instructor a Has introduced themselves to me and the community of women who attend is so close knit that many of the women have recognized that I am new, introduced themselves and helped me find and set up my workout spaces in the group classes. I'm enjoying caring for myself and teaching my 4 daughters that using your body and becoming stronger is a form of fun and play, not the diet culture rhetoric of thinking thin.

She motivated me to get back in shape so I started working out about three months after her. She asked me to go with her to Pilates a few times and I wasn't really interested. Probably because I didn't think it's a guy thing, didn't want to be the only guy in class and enjoyed my workouts. I decided to go to a class with my wife and I was shocked. I got a great workout, was sore for about two days, had fun working out together and now I'm hooked. Elena, the instructor is awesome. If you're going to try this, find a class she's teaching because she's the best. She's very personable, helpful, challenges you, teaches you and makes the class fun. I was a professional hockey instructor for fifteen years and felt like I had pretty good agility, balance and muscle strength but it was put to the test (in a good way) in her class. I have an ongoing shoulder and knee injury that prevent me from doing some traditional weight lifting but I've been able to make strength gains in this class thanks to Elena. You will gain upper body, lower body and core strength in addition to agility, balance and flexibility. I think the best part is you'll be smiling the whole time you're sweating and you'll feel it for a few days after each class. There are a lot of ladies in the class and a few guys but everyone is working to hard to pay attention to anyone else and they're all very welcoming. Guys...if your wife or girlfriend ask you to join them, I highly recommend checking it out; just make sure it's a class Elena is teaching!

But the class before us got out late. Bc of this, we had to stand outside and wait for the class to end which was 10 min after our class was supposed to start. During class the instructor seemed distracted and less than enthusiastic. I saw her on her phone while instructing the class multiple times. She was not encouraging or super helpful with all of the equipment even though she knew it was our first class. Along with this, she made it very clear to the rest of class that it was my sister and I's first class and was saying things like "you might want to do this bc it's your first class" "you might not be strong enough for this" while her mic was on. Which is absurd when you are instructing a fitness class. After class was finished the instructor did not seem interested in us at all. She didn't say bye to us or help clean up.

They offer an amazing variety of classes -- yoga, Pilates, HIIT, and even Bikram -- so there's always something to fit your mood or energy level. The schedule is super flexible, which makes it easy to squeeze in a class no matter how busy your week gets. All of the instructors are fantastic -- encouraging, knowledgeable, and each brings their own unique style to class. I also love that they have plenty of community options if you just want to try it out before committing. And bonus: they're on ClassPass if you're not ready for a full membership! Such a fun, welcoming place to get a great workout and reset your mind. Highly recommend!
