But in Peloton, I have found something that works for me: 1) The privacy of my own home keeps me from feeling embarrassed about my fitness level or ability to keep up. 2) The convenience of the bike being in my own home eliminates my favorite, lifelong excuse for not working out, the convenience factor. 3) The leaderboard gives me an element of competition without the judgy onlookers I always felt I was subject to (real or perceived) at cycle gyms or spin classes. 4) Once I'm on the bike, I have no intention of not finishing, and while I'm there, I might as well add 10 minute arms class and a good stretch. 5) Instructors like Tunde really make the bike for me. I literally miss her voice in my head if I go to long between rides. I need her encouraging "C'mons" to keep me going. I'm taking off one star for something that makes me insane about Peloton. The freaking branding could not be worse. Do you know who Peloton appeals to the very most? The XL crew. The crew that has never felt comfortable going to the gym or changing in a locker room. But will you ever see a single person who is bigger than an XS in their advertisements? Never. They've gotten so much shit for their goofy ass ads set in glass box houses overlooking rainforests and high rise apartments with the Peloton looking out over sweeping views of the city. The pandemic would have been the perfect time to showcase all the lo-fi, no-frills, no nonsense people and places of Peloton. But instead, we just keep getting the glistening fitness models who have never gone a day without their green juice. Why not show the world that Peloton is for everyone? They'd probably change a lot more lives.

My husband and I have now had two scheduled treadmill repair appointments that Peloton failed to complete. For our most recent appointment, we rearranged our Saturday plans to accommodate an 8:00-10:00 a.m. service window. After confirming with customer service the day before that a technician would be arriving, we received a late-night text indicating there might be an issue. Despite multiple messages requesting updates, we were ultimately informed hours after our appointment window had passed that the technician had no transportation and would not be coming. This is now the second missed repair appointment, and weeks later our treadmill issue remains unresolved. The lack of communication, accountability, and respect for customers' time has been unacceptable. I purchased a Peloton expecting premium equipment backed by premium service. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Based on the customer service I've received, I would strongly encourage anyone considering a Peloton purchase to carefully research the company's service and repair support before making a significant investment. Peloton, it's time to do better.

Then I was harassed at the gym by him saying my guest couldn't be there besides a sign being there saying guests are allowed accompanied by tenant. He made up a story about management not wanting them there besides the signs clearly saying otherwise He constantly asked my guests which were minorities where they going except he never did this with my roommates who were not a minority. All the other doormen were pleasant except for him. The last draw was when I was moving out Antoino refused to allow my movers enter the building despite me sending all the necessary paperwork ahead of my move. He harassed me the entire time and despite me paying for movers sending the coi, I had to move the things on my own as he yelled at me and my movers. In regards ot the gym, the weights and treadmills were upgraded and old equipment discarded. They also threw out the CRT TVs so now there aren't TV's haha. I think the bigger complaint is over COVID-19, many young professionals and older folks were replaced by college students, which has created a completely different feeling to the building as hallways and common areas become social scenes. The reason for the five star review is it's still a great location and building, and the staff that works there is exceptionally hardworking and honest. The majority of landlords and buildings are not known for their honesty with anything related to money, but these guys are completely trustworthy.
