Since my friend Xavier reviewed Peloton, I thought it was time for me to do so as well! I love my Peloton, which is odd, since I loathe exercise in all its tourtureish forms. But in Peloton, I have found something that works for me: 1) The privacy of my own home keeps me from feeling embarrassed about my fitness level or ability to keep up. 2) The convenience of the bike being in my own home eliminates my favorite, lifelong excuse for not working out, the convenience factor. 3) The leaderboard gives me an element of competition without the judgy onlookers I always felt I was subject to (real or perceived) at cycle gyms or spin classes. 4) Once I'm on the bike, I have no intention of not finishing, and while I'm there, I might as well add 10 minute arms class and a good stretch. 5) Instructors like Tunde really make the bike for me. I literally miss her voice in my head if I go to long between rides. I need her encouraging "C'mons" to keep me going. I'm taking off one star for something that makes me insane about Peloton. The freaking branding could not be worse. Do you know who Peloton appeals to the very most? The XL crew. The crew that has never felt comfortable going to the gym or changing in a locker room. But will you ever see a single person who is bigger than an XS in their advertisements? Never. They've gotten so much shit for their goofy ass ads set in glass box houses overlooking rainforests and high rise apartments with the Peloton looking out over sweeping views of the city. The pandemic would have been the perfect time to showcase all the lo-fi, no-frills, no nonsense people and places of Peloton. But instead, we just keep getting the glistening fitness models who have never gone a day without their green juice. Why not show the world that Peloton is for everyone? They'd probably change a lot more lives. read more

Buyer beware. My experience with Peloton's customer service has been extremely disappointing. My husband and I have now had two scheduled treadmill repair appointments that Peloton failed to complete. For our most recent appointment, we rearranged our Saturday plans to accommodate an 8:00-10:00 a.m. service window. After confirming with customer service the day before that a technician would be arriving, we received a late-night text indicating there might be an issue. Despite multiple messages requesting updates, we were ultimately informed hours after our appointment window had passed that the technician had no transportation and would not be coming. This is now the second missed repair appointment, and weeks later our treadmill issue remains unresolved. The lack of communication, accountability, and respect for customers' time has been unacceptable. I purchased a Peloton expecting premium equipment backed by premium service. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Based on the customer service I've received, I would strongly encourage anyone considering a Peloton purchase to carefully research the company's service and repair support before making a significant investment. I expected significantly better service from Peloton. My Tread screen stopped working, and over the course of trying to resolve the issue, I contacted Peloton approximately 8-10 times. Unfortunately, the third-party company Peloton uses for service was one of the worst experiences I've ever had, both based on my experience and the reviews I later read online. It's honestly shocking that Peloton partners with a company like this. The first appointment was scheduled, and I took a day off work expecting the issue to be resolved. The technician never showed up -- no call, text, or email. I had to call Peloton myself only to be told the technician had called out sick. I rescheduled for the following week and took another day off work. The second appointment resulted in another no-show. Again, no communication whatsoever. After contacting Peloton yet again, I was informed the technician could not make it due to traffic. By the third appointment, my frustration was already through the roof. The technician finally arrived, but showed up wearing sweats and slippers, which was extremely unprofessional and not at all what I would expect representing a premium brand like Peloton. I had clearly requested during all three appointments that the technician call 30 minutes before arrival. Instead, I received no notice until he was already outside my home. Because of the repeated delays and time off work, I had no choice but to work from home that day and was in the middle of a meeting when he repeatedly called me back-to-back until I answered. I could see him outside through my cameras, but I was expecting the agreed-upon 30-minute notice. He ultimately waited only about five minutes. When I addressed the lack of communication, the technician attempted to blame his assistant for not calling me. I explained that ensuring proper communication with customers is ultimately the technician's responsibility. At that point, he diagnosed the issue and informed me a replacement part would need to be ordered, requiring yet another appointment. To make matters worse, when I contacted Peloton to order the part, I was initially told I would need to pay approximately $120 out of pocket despite the repeated scheduling failures and poor service experience. During that call, the representative actually hung up on me. I had to call back again, and while the final representative was at least more helpful, I still ended up paying for the part simply to move the process forward. Once the part arrived, I refused to have the outsourced service company return to my home. Thankfully, my husband was able to replace the part himself and get the machine working properly. Overall, this was an incredibly disappointing experience from a company that markets itself as premium. Between the repeated no-shows, lack of communication, unprofessional service, and poor customer support, Peloton completely failed to deliver acceptable customer service. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Peloton to others. read more

Peloton has a nice store on Madison Avenue. I'm sure people in this neighborhood enjoy shopping here. I'm really surprised it hasn't closed after all the bad recalls over the past three years. If you are a huge fan of Peloton stop by this location. As for me I'll pass. They open too late and merchandise isn't my style. read more

This company used to be good now putting out so many products and they can not keep up with what they are putting out . Very low quality of products. Bought a bike a month later a recall on seat no choice of to keep bike or return. Waiting on a seat for months . Waited longer then what they said. Now no white glove delivery. Third party to fix. And if you ever get your seat you have to fix yourself they say. I am tired of this going to call BBB and the place I financed the bike through. I'm just done. Want to return the bike and get my money back. I'm quite had enough. This is ridiculous. Very bad service products are not good anymore. Stay away spend your money on water tracker something else you can get one for that acts the same and probably doesn't break down and is the record. read more

DO NOT BUY A PELOTON unless you want to spend$2500 for a bike that only lasts 3 years! I loved my bike but recently the speakers stopped working and I have been on the phone with technical support and they cannot fix the issue. Customer service is horrible? They hung up when they got frustrated, tell me a supervisor will call back (they don't) now they want me to spend $375 on a new board that "will probably fix the issue"?! Really? What a disappointment. What a shame, it was a good product, but it's too much money to spend and not have any customer service. There are other choices out there, pick a different bike. read more

Peloton just opened a showroom here and they offered to come and take a class here with their bikes. My friend set the whole thing up via email for a group of 7 of us to do the Olympic themed ride together. Some of us needed shoes to clip in and they were provided along with water and towels. The staff were friendly and made sure the bikes were adjusted properly for each rider. Using the bikes here you get to see how it would feel to have one in your house versus the studio. The display was a lot bigger and the ride was not in the dark of the studio. Also you can choose to listen to the audio through wireless headphones or just turn up the volume enough so you can hear it through the speakers on the monitor. After the ride there was no pressure to buy the bikes at all. We were able to take our time to freshen up and look around the store. read more

While in town for NYE we stopped in here to check out their apparel, I own the bike and I love the leggings. Everyone at the store was very nice. Sabrina helped me and answered all of my questions (I had a lot and she didn't bat an eye). I felt really good about investing in a piece of equipment after all of the help I received - there's so much more to Peloton than I realized! After 2.5 years I still feel this is the best investment in my health I have ever made. Exercise equipment usually becomes boring after a few months but I actually like this bike more now than in the beginning after I've refined exactly what I like. For me I like the 80's classes the best and Jennifer Jacobs is my favorite instructor but there are at least 5 other instructors that I enjoy also. I never liked any of the instructors or music when I used to do Spin in a gym. I've also recently started doing the 10 minute weight classes they have added which you can do on and off the bike. My wife doesn't like biking, but she is doing the yoga classes because we can cast the screen on to the 65" tv we have in the bike room so you don't have to be tied to the bike or it's screen. I can do 20 minute classes during the week when I get home from work and 45 minute classes on the weekend. They are also responsive to suggestions. Early on I emailed and asked if we could bookmark a ride right after it was over and a few months later that ability was added in a software update. Bookmarking classes you really like is a great feature so you can repeat your favorite rides if there's nothing new this week that looks good. And the best change they made this year is allowing you to view the full music playlist for each class before you take it! I was skeptical because of the price but it's been totally worth it and since I also bought myself a bench and barbell set I no longer pay for a gym membership. Ordered a Peloton in November for my wife for Christmas. This was her big present. Peloton told me that it could not be delivered until January. This was disappointing but I went ahead with the purchase as they gave me a confirmed shipment and setup date. In January I get a text message and email that says they will not deliver the bike until February. When I call their customer service number, the representative is very rude and non-empathetic which leads me to just ask for a refund. Customer service tells me that they cannot do that, that I must call the delivery service. I tell them that this doesn't make sense... I am calling Peloton whom I paid, and am now demanding a refund. She refuses the refund. I ask to speak to a supervisor. She refuses to connect me to any supervisor and tells me that they will just tell me the same thing. I write an email to Peloton requesting a refund. No response. I tweet a complaint about my experience. No response. Finally, today, the delivery service shows up at my door with the Bike, but not the shoes I paid for (The Peloton requires specific attachable shoes to operate the bike). So now I am stuck with this $2000 clothes hanger that I cannot use. My wife now having the bike wants to keep it, but cannot use it because the shoes were not shipped with the bike. Called customer service once again, and they have no idea why the shoes were not shipped with the bike. This product does deserve one star as it does work very well as a clothes hanger. My clothes are drying nicely on this expensive hanger. read more

I am not happy right now with Peloton. I received a defective crank shaft on my bike. I only had it for three weeks and this morning the pedal came off. I called Peloton Support and spoke with Bryon C. and was told due to what is going on right now they cannot send a technician out until this is over with. I asked can I sit it outside and they can work on it. I was told since the bike was in my house they cannot service it. My question is when this is all over what is the difference because the bike is still in my house. I understand COVID-19 has stopped alot of what is going on but it did not stop Peloton from delivering a bike to my house on April 17th. I told Bryon C in support that Peloton should deliver customers new bikes and take the old ones and sanitize them just like some of the other manufacturers are doing when you return their products. I was told they cannot do that because again they cannot take the old bike. Yesterday I did receive an email from Peloton Support stating that they will have to replace the pedal and crank shaft. I feel it was defective when they delivered the bike. I am so upset that when they come and fix it they can take the bike. read more

I have a peloton bike and love it. I take the spin & floor classes weekly. I loved the brand so much I referred a friend. Received a $100 gift card for it. Purchased 4 shirts with it a month a ago. Still do not have the shirts. Emailed them they said it was to arrive this week. I was okay and thank you. It's Saturday still no shirts. Don't buy there clothes you will not receive them. read more

The bike itself is good. It's sturdy, quiet and many of the classes are good. My one star is based on service, accessories, and support. Communicating with their chat or by phone has been horrific in my experience. 2+ hours on hold when they first announced the bike+, chats getting bounced from one dept to another and back to the original dept on numerous occasions. The ear buds stopped working within a few weeks and it was just after 30 days the heart rate monitor stopped working. I have been told by their "support " team to buy new heart rate monitor bc after 14 days I'm out of luck. Very disappointing dealing with a company that brags about quality and service. The quality is crap and the service is worse. If you buy one I hope you never have an issue because they are a terrible to deal with. This is based on my experience. I bought a Peleton from the Short Hills Mall store. Delivery was fine but it clicks and does not pedal smoothly from day 1. Cant believe they wouldn't ask their delivery people to take the 30 seconds to make sure the bike pedals properly. I called Peleton and they would not come out to fix unless I took a video of clicking because they needed to know what tools to bring. That's nuts. The only moving parts are pedals, a belt and a fly wheel. cant imagine there are a thousand different tools for a peleton bike. Wish I never bought it read more
