The Workshop is a one-stop shop for all your fitness and relaxation needs: it's a pilates studio,…read morecrossfit box, and spa all in one place. It has a minimalistic meets industrial chic ambiance. I live in Seattle but I drive all the way here to see Kim for spa services, it's totally worth it! I've tried the facial, massage, and waxing services, and can confidently recommend all of them. This is not the swanky kind of spa that charges you for the "experience." The spa portion of the space is smaller but practical. I thought the one thing I couldn't live without was the waxing service. Kim uses the best quality wax that doesn't irritate my skin and makes it the least painful waxing experience I've had. One day, I decided to try a 30-minute massage with Kim and walked away feeling so relaxed and relieved of all my tension points, I had the most restful sleep that night. I've been coming back since then for the massage and I highly recommend it. Kim knows what she's doing and if you like deeper pressure points, she's your girl! The prices are more than reasonable for spa services. I have yet to try the workout classes, but looking forward to trying one soon. P.S. They are on mindbody, so you can book all the classes and services online. P.P.S. This place can be a bit hard to find on Google Maps, just look for Spud Fish & Chips.

She is very professional, approachable, friendly and talented. I would highly recommend her. She offers great price options, like the groupons or memberships. I finished my set of 3 waxes with the groupon offer and have continued to go back because I like her so much. I live 15miles away but I am willing to make the drive. 2 thumbs up!

Very clean space, the equipment also feels almost nee, with minimal wear. Easy to make it on time as there has never been an issue finding free parking, as CP shares a lot with the QFC.

Alright, I am a few months overdue to provide an update BUT I feel that I have taken enough classes…read moreto do so now. Since my initial review, I have taken close to 30 classes at Club Pilates Crown Hill. They have added 1.5 classes, as well as 1.5 reformer flow and Control (which I still have yet to take). 2.0 reformer flows are still not on the schedule, which is fine as I'm still improving in the 1.5s. They have added more instructors and class times since I've joined, so it's been nice to even squeeze in a 6 pm Mon class when I do have time after work. My favorite class at CP aside from reformer flow is Center & Balance (light movement, deep stretching). I have seen a difference with my posture and mobility since adding CP as a part of my fitness routine. A nice thing about CP is that they have so many instructors that you'll find one that you'll gravitate towards. I've found myself gravitating towards Adena and Autumn's classes not only because their class times suit my schedule, but I enjoy their teaching style, especially asking if they can touch you to help modify your position or stance when needed. I also appreciate how they find ways to explain how to do a movement or exercise, as I want to be ready when 2.0 classes are offered at CP. Another instructor I do like is Adelaide, for similar reasons as Adena and Autumn. Overall, the staff at CP is friendly and helpful. I do enjoy Breanna's bubbly personality when she's working at the front desk especially. If you're still curious about CP after reading this review, go and book that intro session now!

The draw for ECA over big places like LA/24 hour was the smaller business vibe & I wanted to "shop local". I also liked the childcare options. 1. when we signed up at the Ballinger Village location with Brody, he made a big show of telling us (my husband and I) how they're a small business and they're not out to get money, he said most of them are just personal trainers or nutritionists, NOT BUSINESSMEN (i remember this line because he repeated it several times). So he encouraged me to sign up for the champions class. I asked specifically if I could cancel if it didn't fit my needs/baby schedule. He said "of course. But I'd recommend you try it for at least 60 days so you can really see if it works for you. And if you still need to cancel, just reach out. We're really chill here." This was near verbatim. 2. After more than a couple months, I found the champions class great for others but not for me/my toddler's schedule so I emailed to cancel which was the ONLY option I was given. And the email response was short, rude, and included a "$299 + tax downgrade fee" for the cancellation. Mind you, I wasn't trying to cancel our membership. Just MY champions access. I told them what Brody had told us just months prior and they absolutely didn't budge. That's fine. It's policy - I get it. But this is totally the kind of stuff big businesses pull and they should be up front. 3. We ended up completely cancelling our memberships (both of us) because we thought this way of business was shady and when you think about the cost and what they offer v. what big gyms offer (LA/24) then you'll realize it's absolutely not worth it. all that talk in the beginning is EXACTLY what it sounds like. a sales pitch. don't be sucked in. **I will say the teachers at the childcare are above and beyond. I have told everyone I know about our ECA experience and hopefully saved people quite a bit of $$$ but I have nothing negative to say about the teachers at childcare. ** in case my review is too long. read this reddit forum. https://www.reddit.com/r/Seattle/comments/oanvzy/emerald_city_athletics_a_toxic_manipulative_and/

I'm a reformer Pilates girl, so the Xformer was a bit of an adjustment for me. But all of the instructors are super awesome in helping me use the Xformer properly. The best part? The playlists! It's so much fun and really helps you get into the zone. The whole facility is super clean with lockers and a great bathroom with everything you need before or after class. There's tons of free parking too-- making it super easy and convenient. I loved my experience so much that I even bought a pair of biker shorts with the cut + flow logo and new grip socks as a little souvenir. I can't wait to come back to Cut + Flow!

Ive personally only taken 1 Xformer and a handful of yoga classes. I like that there's a variety of instructors with different styles. One thing to note is that it doesn't get hot enough in yoga to my liking- temperature also depends on each instructor. The locker area and bathroom/showers are also pristine! Cut and Flow sells grippy socks and lululemon clothes in the front. Don't forget to bring your own grippy socks to your first Xformer class, or you can purchase one at the studio. Their new client special is a great deal. One unlimited month for $99 which includes a free pair of grippy socks and free mat/towel rental. As of 9/11/24 there's also Xformer instructor in training classes which cost $15 per class! A drop in Xformer class typically cost $35.
