I drive 45 min to get there but it's worth it. Amanda, Rebecca and Lauren are amazing but all instructors are great. They might switch up Tower Power in the early morning a little more but they listen to requests. Wendaly at the check in area is always very welcoming and Gianna, the new manager as well. It's a community with different optional activities outside of class to promote that as well. You also have every day different classes focused on the various muscle groups and intensity levels unlike other studios where it's the same thing every class every day. So great for the body and longevity of it. And by the way, I did not get asked or paid for the review!

In the summer, it seems like they'll hire just about anybody as an instructor. I have been doing Pilates for over 20 years and I could not believe the quality of the people they had teaching level two Pilates.... I swear they were trained over the weekend ....seriously not qualified! My biggest complaint would have to be the lack of padding on the reformers. I spoke to one of the owners over four years ago about this issue, and I was assured that they were refurbishing all of the foot bars, beds and shoulder pads within 6 months. fFnally, last year they refurbish the boxes. Rather than investing in the clubs they have, they open new clubs that they can't staff with qualified instructors. It's frustrating trying to concentrate on pilates while being distracted by having your shoulders, feet and back up against metal on leather. I thought the South Tamiami studio was bad until I went to use the one downtown, which are even worse.... zero padding.

I heard of Cinde Carroll from a fellow deconditioned friend with back problems. I have now been…read moregoing almost 2 years and have worked with both Ms Carroll and 2 of her trainers. I can honestly say that my body has been completely transformed both physically and and cosmetically. Her highly screened trainers are so skilled when it comes to older people with past injuries, that I got a better result than from years of physical therapy. I have tried both the gyrokinesis and the pilates and found both helpful. After learning the basics from individual training, I was able to switch to classes which were more economical. But the training was a necessary start. I am stronger, more toned, almost pain free most of the time after years of chronic back and neck pain. I have learned how to move and stay conscious of my posture day to day and maybe even more importantly, how to breathe in a way that helps my posture and back as I breathe. The incredible improvement has motivated me to exercise more on my own at home, using what I have learned, and feeling confident that I am now using weights, an exercise ball, and an exercise band properly for max benefit and no injury. I think this place is a hidden treasure in Sarasota. Nothing else I have tried begins to compare.

Shannon convinced me otherwise... the workout she delivers in her Pilates sessions is custom-tailored to your experience level (mine was ZILCH at first), your fitness level, and your stamina. After getting acquainted with the basics, I will tell you that my wife and I found Shannon's workouts to be absolutely butt-kicking -- exactly what we needed and wanted. Flexibility improved, I had less pain (from sitting at my desk all day every day), and I felt better overall. She has always incorporated a wide variety of disciplines (she's a Fellow of Applied Functional Science, for example) into her training, but she's now added the MELT Method, which did more in a single session to alleviate chronic pain than anything else I've ever tried. My wife & I can't say enough about Shannon. She's extremely health-conscious, she's very aware of your individual needs & abilities, and she is completely no nonsense. I can't say enough about the hype free, no-BS approach. If you're in pain, want to limber up, or need help getting in shape, get in one of Shannon's classes. You won't regret it!

I love the Signature class in 45 or 60 minute blocks. You will work all parts of the body and mind with strength, cardio, balance and agility. The last few minutes of class are dedicated to resetting your mind with stretching, breathing and mindfulness before jumping back into the rest of the day. My favorite class is 45 minute Strength. I have so much more muscle than I did three years ago, my posture is better and I feel like a healthier person. Cone check them out!

Regardless of your age or ailments, Barre 3 will take you out of your head and restrictions. There's a sweet spot for everyone. I have moderate arthritis, both hips replaced and various orthopedic problems, and have experienced a huge improvement in my range of motion, overall strength and better balance. Old aches and pains have melted away. I notice progress with each class and look forward to the next. I have been warmly welcomed by all instructors who are each top drawer pros. I leave feeling grateful and uplifted in body, mind and spirit!
