I have tried pilates before, and I have to say I didn't like it at all. It was not the facility, it was not the equipment, but in fact, it was the instructor. That day I realized how important it is to have the "right" one as it's the instructor who can make your workout worthwhile or completely ruin it. A few months ago my wife and I were looking for some exercises to do safely during our pregnancy. A couple of our friends recommended us to try Janelle's pilates classes. They were really happy about how it's helped them before and after their first baby. We gave it a try and now we're looking forward to it every Saturday. Janelle worked with me for a year and a half throughout my pregnancy and often with a partner she was able to design a workout that helped me work around my growing belly and accommodate me with some of the more uncomfortable things that go along with having a baby.
