I've only tried the level 1 courses yet - but find there is plenty of variation and ability to scale the difficulty level. Silly me being an avid gym girlie thought that class will be a piece of cake. It's definitely a great way to push yourself and add a little spice to your routine. I chose the Upper Body class for my session today which had Maggie as our instructor. I have to say , she is filled with positivity that encourages any level of student to feel comfortable. The perfect workout honestly -- my instructor for the day was Maggie and her class was truly a work of art. From start to end everything was so uniform, so artistic, and the playlist was solid, huge plus if you ask me! I arrive at 4:15 for my 4:30 class and we started with warm up style practices which later got more intense as the workout proceeded. With Rufus du sol and other jams beating as Maggie explained, and showed us each move, the class was so seemless and perfect. It honestly flew by! Pilates is amazing, and Pilates One in Coconut Grove is the perfect place to experience it. This studio, which has been in business for nearly 20 years, offers so much more than a workout. They've created a space with a unique energy--walking in, you instantly feel safe and at home. I just finished a "Jump Class," and what a workout it was! It challenged me in ways I never expected, leaving me feeling stronger and more energized. The class was led by Jeannine, the owner, who has mastered the art of motivating and supporting her clients. Her approach is encouraging without being overwhelming, which is rare to find in a fitness studio. Even as a beginner, I felt comfortable and capable in her class. Pilates One has truly inspired me to make Pilates a core part of my fitness routine. I'm already seeing and feeling the difference, and I couldn't be more excited to continue this journey. I was a big guy, as in tall and heavy when I started (less heavy these days!). Nicole took the time to evaluate my specific situation and tailored my training. When I started, I suffered from back pain caused by a small hernia in my lower back, not severe enough for surgery. After just a couple of sessions, the pain started to fade. A month into it, it was gone! Nicole's training had strengthened my core without putting my back in risk. Now, in addition of not having back pain, I am stronger, more flexible, and way lighter than when I started. Scheduling is a breeze, she is very flexible, understanding and fair. I would recommend this studio to anyone that wants to get stronger and healthier. Don't waste your time and money on "one size fits all" Pilates classes. This is truly a custom made experience and believe me. It pays off!!!

The class I attended was ultimately removed/cancelled within ClassPass, which permanently removed my review from the platform as well. Prior to that, my attendance had repeatedly been changed to "missed" despite attending the class, resulting in them maliciously charging me a no show fee. I also experienced attempts to have my Yelp review removed after posting screenshots documenting the timeline and responses. At this point, the handling of customer feedback has become more concerning than the class experience itself. For transparency, my original concerns remain the same: - The class description did not clearly state it was structured as a split between reformer and Cadillac - The class itself lacked challenge and flow - I experienced repeated interruptions during the session regarding a phone that was not recording - The public responses to feedback were defensive and unprofessional I have retained screenshots documenting the attendance changes, review removals, and communication with ClassPass support. Overall, while the studio itself has potential aesthetically, the professionalism, customer service, and handling of feedback were extremely disappointing.

This studio is nestled in a small shopping area near the MayFair Hotel and there is plenty of street or garage parking around the area. I have done mat Pilates in the past and I have always wanted to try it on the reformer machine. I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to. Christa was the instructor for our class and she was awesome :). She helped me feel comfortable on the machine and adjusted my form as necessary throughout the class.
