I started going to Club Pilates this month and am truly loving it so far! I'd never tried reformer Pilates before, so I started with their free 30min intro class and have been going 3-4 times a week since. I've tried several different instructors and have enjoyed them all - even though they definitely have different styles. I love that classes are small and I really feel the instructors are attentive and quick to provide guidance or direction. I've only tried the level 1 courses yet - but find there is plenty of variation and ability to scale the difficulty level. I use WellHub through my employer, so can't speak to this studio's pricing - but I am certainly enjoying adding this to my workout routine! read more

I have been doing Pilates for over four years. Prior to Pilates I had regular back problems that required medical attention. Since starting I have not had one single problem. That's a common response. I have also been told by a DC that my spine is in perfect alignment. Also not common. When I moved to Brickell 3 years ago I visited at least 4 Pilates studios in the area and selected Club Pilates in Brickell. I really enjoy this studio. I've been coming for at least four months now I think. It's always clean and has great equipment. I like that they offer a variety of classes to suit different styles. There is TRX, interval workouts, cardio, and more. At this point I think I have tried every class, and I like all of them. My only issue is that there are great inconsistencies with the quality of teaching. There are some instructors who are great and challenge me, so I only try to sign up for their classes. Then there are some whose classes are so poorly taught and not challenging that I try to avoid them. The problem is that classes fill so quickly I sometimes miss the good ones. I just started coming here and it's even better than I had expected. They were quick to get me in for a free introductory class, and they answered all of my questions regarding membership, schedule, and their app. The place is relatively small. It only has 12 reformers, so the classes fill up fast. I haven't had a problem yet, because they put you on a waitlist, and since reservations need to be canceled two days ahead of time, there's a good chance you can get in. So today I went in for my first class and had zero idea of what to expect. I loved it!!! I will say I am in THE WORST SHAPE ever... my shape is a luscious round figure. Hahaha Our instructor (Manuela) was the sweetest ever and helped me along the way whenever I didn't feel 100% confident with my movements on the reformer. The class consisted primarily of stretching and oh boy was I shaking. This really makes you work out every part of your body.... even with just the stretching class!! Rolling the muscles out was intense, there were so many things we did today that made me realize, "I NEED TO DO THIS MORE OFTEN!!" I would love to attend more classes and further my knowledge of what Pilates entails. They work at a pace that I enjoy and everything boils down to core strength which is totally the type of workout that Keeps me motivated. I was getting into a routine of 7 am workouts. now they have changed the Friday class to a stretching class instead of cardio sculpt. I am a level 2 customer and m-f the 7 or 7:30 am classes there are no level 2s. the only class during that time that is semi challenging for me is cardio on Wednesdays. please consider changing a 7 or 7:30 am m-f to a level 2 flow or trx class. Nothing like a pilates class after sitting in front of the computer all day. I especially love Lorin's classes, always full of energy, helpful and she give us a thorough workout. I feel taller and stronger every time I walk out of class. It's easy to book and plenty of varied sessions. read more

Updated 1 hour after original post: The Studio Contacted me after understanding that I had provided a doctors note and was expecting. Nonetheless, I would caution people into entering into a contract and appreciate the team doing the right thing. The classes are fine. However, This review is to express dissatisfaction with how the termination has been handled. It's important to note that I rarely give a bad review but this situation warrants it. Back in December I suffered an injury and requested to cancel. I was offered to freeze, I then learned I was expecting and then the pandemic occurred. I was contacted earlier this week to ask me if I wanted to continue to freeze my account which I said sure since I am pregnant and not willing to expose myself to possibly catch covid-19 and my injury has not fully healed. I was told that to continue to freeze I would have to pay a fee so I asked them to cancel and was told I could not cancel without unfreezing and paying for another month of service which I am unable to use being that I'm pregnant and injured. The way this is being handled is pay me or pay me. And that's just bad business and bad customer service. I would think twice before entering into a business relationship with this club. We are living in times of unemployment and a pandemic and that's the type of customer service that is offered. I am beyond upset. Seriously! Don't ever sign a contract with club Pilates they only care about money. They do not care about their customers. Once I have my baby and heal I will seek physical training from a different company because this is not how you treat a customer. Not to mention I have unused paid classes on my account. read more

Awesome Pilates studio! They use equipment that I haven't seen at other pilates studios, including a chair piece and TRX bands. Using so much different equipment keeps the exercises interesting, and prevented me from getting bored, which I really appreciated. My instructor was very attentive, and I was very happy with class! The studio is too pricey for me to get a membership at the moment, but I do think it is a great studio, and would recommend you trying out your first class free here for yourself! read more

I have been taking classes there for about 2 months now, the unlimited plan is the best value for me because it allows me to take as many classes as I wish and it is only a little more expensive than the 8 pack option. My favorite instructor so far is Matthew, he seems to be the most experienced one in my club, however I have had many positive experiences with every other instructor I've taken classes with there since they are all very helpful and supportive. Everyone who works here knows you by name and face, the classes are personal and the instructors are so helpful/professional/great to be around. I am honestly extremely disappointed in this studio. I completed my 3 month trial and reached out to the studio to please cancel my account 18 days prior to the next billing cycle due to the fact that I am traveling with no date of return as of yet. They refused to cancel, they are charging an additional month because I did not inform them exactly 30 days before. I work in the service industry and accommodation and empathy is key to having a successful business. We were in a constant back and forth for $89, knowing I will not be attending my classes. Went for the free intro class and everything was fine but when I arrived 2 days later to signup for the $200+ monthly pass the lady behind the desk refused to help me because I was not wearing a mask. Note: during the free class no one was asked to wear a mask at any point within the building. I have been on the phone with them several times leading up to my arrival today and no one mentioned that I needed to bring a mask and of course they do not have any to offer you either. As I am leaving feeling really let down I notice that the man behind me had NO MASK on and that same lady said not one word about him not wearing a mask. So it now feels like they are presenting themselves as very friendly during that intro class but very different after that. Before Pilates, I never looked forward to working out. I love that there are plenty of classes at different times as well as different kind ands levels. Highly discourage this gym. For following reasons: * Classes are way too easy. Hardly ever they enforce their policies, so you often find beginners in advanced classes that severely slowdown the class. * instructors are too soft and all of them are women coming from very similar demographics. I wonder if who manages this gym is sexist/racist as they randomly got rid of the ONLY good male instructor. * Good reviews simply come from existing members as they often get rewarded to write them (not necessarily honest.) * some people that work there are way too rude to be in a client facing role. * members are supposed to clean up after they work out, very few actually clean their space. The gym doesn't seem to care if clients have a bad experience because whoever used the reformer before them didn't clean the space properly. * they get ride of instructors in the worst way possible. They don't notify members and come up with stupid excuses. They recently fired the only instructor that was enforcing Club Pilates rules (for example that beginners should not take advance classes) and push you to the next level as a person and as an athlete. * they only care about you until you sign up and pay the first three months, then they stop caring about your opinion. Terrible customer experience. This is not the way you treat clients that have been with you since the very beginning. I went to a demo-class with a friend on a saturday morning and absolutely loved this new pilates club in Brickell. The location is very convenient for anyone who lives or works in the area as it is adjacent to the Metro Mover (which is free!). The club is just big enough for an intimate but hard core class. The machines are brand new and state of the art. The instructor was very nice and walked us through how to use all of the equipment before the class began. Even though we only had a 30 minute class, the array of exercises and areas that you can work are endless and all challenging. I am looking forward to going back and signing up for a membership. Love this studio but 2 stars off for shady business practices during COVID. After they posted that the studio would be closed on FB, they sent a follow up email to members with options to pause or cancel memberships. I requested to cancel my membership and they still charged me for the next month - even though the studio was closed and they weren't offering any classes. When I contacted them to correct the issue, they wouldn't refund me. Eventually they agreed to refund me but when a month passed without a refund I had to follow up. It took 2 months to get it resolved. I'm chalking this up to COVID related issues as the studio and instructors are great - would recommend them on a class by class or package basis but am wary of any kind of sign up involving recurring charges. read more

I've only done Pilates at one other studio in the Miami area, so I don't have much to compare CPB to, but my experience was so pleasant I had to write a review. I've taken two classes at this location so far and have gotten great workouts both times! The first was Reformer Flow 1 with Dujuan and wow, that guy kicked our butts! Like I mentioned, I've done Pilates before, but never like this. Dujuan had us using the reformer, free-weights, box, mat and BOSU. Although I wasn't mentally prepared for such an intense class, I definitely enjoyed the challenge. He pushed us to our limits and offered slight modifications for certain exercises, which I greatly appreciated. My second class was on a Monday morning with Lorin. This class was Reformer Flow 1.5 and was an amazing leg workout! We used the box, mat, tower, ring along with the reformer and you better believe my legs were shaking halfway through the class. Lorin was energetic, helped us perfect our posture, and made waking up early on a Monday worthwhile. Despite their "boujee" Brickell location, I've found that for reformer Pilates, their prices are pretty reasonable compared to a lot of other locations (that aren't as nice anyway.) Their studio is extremely clean and up-to-date, they send email and sometimes even text message reminders, and they have friendly staff there to greet you. They do require the use of Pilates grip socks, but also sell pairs on site for an affordable price! I enjoy the variety of their classes and will definitely be returning. read more

The girl opens the door and tells me I would need to reschedule. No offer to reschedule - never asked ... could you wait for the next class - just dismissive. I guess all things happen for a reason.
