This was only my second Pilates class ever, so I had no idea what I was walking into. Turns out I walked into the abs and glutes class of all abs and glutes classes. Lauren is tough -- but the kind of tough that keeps you going because she makes it fun and challenging at the same time. I wanted to quit and keep going all at once, which I think means she's doing something right. Beyond the workout itself, the studio was spotless, the energy in a full class was great, and the music kept the vibe going the whole time. Really impressive first experience here. The smaller group made the session feel really personalized and focused, which I appreciated, especially for a workout where form and control matter so much. The instructor, Ophelie, was very nice and welcoming. She offered clear cues and gentle corrections without making it feel intimidating, and the overall vibe in the studio was calm but motivating. The space itself is clean and modern, with a good atmosphere for zoning in and getting a quality workout. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is the drive it's a bit out of the way for me personally. But if you're closer to Coconut Grove or don't mind the commute, Tremble is definitely worth checking out for a more intimate, focused class experience with a great instructor like Ophelie.

The studio is cozy and comfortable enough to make you levitate during the class. I jump into the advanced reformer bed, which is secluded in the corner, giving you privacy and the perfect space for you to focus on your session. The ray of light from the sunset hit me while pulling the class, keeping me warm and active during the entire exercise. The studio faces Douglas Park full frontal, which blends harmoniously with the natural spirit of a Pilates class. All these elements combined provided me with the gracious spirit of a tribal Pilates experience, making me wonder if I would be floating on air while I was swinging through the stripes through the Douglas trees. Dr. Gareth paid attention to all details and was on top of our class at all times, combining several exercises and making sure we obtained a complete workout. I would like to try more sessions in this space, as I think the environment makes it unique to capture an unplugged workout routine.

The exercises are ones that include important muscles that I may not think to train at the gym, but are still important for mobility and to prevent joint pain. My favorite class is the Butts and Guts one because I feel like it's a good full body workout. The studio itself is really beautiful and all the teachers are very patient and knowledgeable. The parking is a hit or miss, you can usually go inside the parking lot. I often park on the street as that is easier.

Like many popular pilates studios, they have the megaformer machine which helps you get a bit more challenging levels of movement than a classical pilates reformer. The studio is spacious, clean, and the instructors are very attentive to your form. Finding metered parking is pretty easy on Ponce depending on the time of your class. I would say to go early if you're going in the afternoon as that area is busy for shopping / eating so it could take a minute to find a spot. They also have a water refilling station, and little cubbies for you to keep your stuff. I will be back!

And parking... definitely give yourself extra time to find a spot because it's a bit of a hassle.

I have done Pilates, and barre for some time but never in a heated room. Not only was the playlist great but the guidance and correction from the instructor was well appreciated. I am not from the area and I found Starr Hawkins social media page earlier in the year through exercise posts. I am glad I did. The same radiating energy she shows on her page also comes through in her class. I look forward to getting the chance to take another one of her classes. Things to note- there's one bathroom and one shower and they are in the same room. Rental of a mat and a towel are available for $6. The staff at the front was very helpful and clear as it was my first time there. I chose a space in the back but I then realized I was next to the speaker so I probably will choose a space in the front. Also note since this is popular class and studio I would recommend you arrive early. I arrived about 40 mins before class and I have the option to choose wherever I wanted. As starting time got closer people rushed in to get a space in the front to take their videos and photos before class started.
