I got the JFC Burger and my wife got the Big Fat Greek Burger. Both looked great. Mine was delicious and my wife liked her's too. The ordering was super easy and was all through your mobile phone. They had QR codes all over the truck for easily get to the ordering page. It took maybe 15 minutes from ordering for it to say my order was ready. I will say it's a bit expensive but matches what I've seen for other gourmet burger places. Overall I'd probably order from them again given the opportunity. read more

Having heard the buzz around Pile High Burgers for a while I was stoked to see them parked in front of Golden City Brewery this past Saturday. ++ They have TONS of incredibly creative burger options! Some that caught my eye included: Sweet Heat, Cajun, Hawaiian, and the 303! ++ Their list of sides is impressive! I opted for sweet potato fries with my meal which seriously were the highlight! They were perfect! ++ Staff was quite friendly and helpful. +/- Wait time was a bit longer than I expected, but not outrageous. -- I was underwhelmed by my burger choice (Grilled Cheese Burger). There was just so much bread! The pickles and brown mustard were just a bit too much for my taste. Plus, the cheese wasn't even melted. Bummer. -- Pricing it a little steep. Granted the ingredients are fresh and the burger unique; I have a hard time justifying a $10 burger. This experience was def "A-OK." I usually go for the BALT or the Boring just because some of them are so huge I wouldn't be able to finish them. Every burger I've had here has been AMAZING! And the onion rings... perfection. They have a huge menu with dozens and dozens of options: both custom burger options as well as a lengthy list of individual toppings/sauces that can go on a base burger. I ended up getting the Mexican burger, with some sweet potato fries on the side. The guy taking orders at the window of the truck was friendly and helpful in answering questions. While the burger was enormous and the perfect portion size following an exhausting hike, with a generous portion of fries to boot, I ended up being pretty underwhelmed by the taste of the burger. The burger was quite greasy and caused the bun to become moist (could possibly benefit with some toasting?), and outside of the jalapenos, the toppings were not as flavorful as I had expected. The overall price of the burger and fries came to roughly $20, which I didn't find to be as worthwhile given the overall taste of the burger. Unfortunately we had a really bad experience with this food truck. We ordered a pile high burger, mini corn dogs, and a curly fry. The burger was beyond greasy. So greasy it was not edible. The bun was soaked in grease, the lettuce was drowned in grease, and unfortunately that's all you could see and taste. The ground beef had to been way below 80%. I'd say a very low quality. I asked for it to be cooked medium and it was well done. The corn dogs were okay, it tasted like grease and they seemed to be a little bit overdone since some were a bit crunchy. When we told the guy the app was failing to load when you click on what you want, he didn't say "sorry, no problem, what can I get you", he didn't say anything. Probably the best burger truck in town. The burger and the chicken patty are delicious and generously sized, so sharing is recommended. The shoestring fries are excellent, but there are a LOT. save your box; I took mine home and cooked them in lieu of hash browns for breakfast. It would be nice to order fries separately. One portion was more than enough for two. The sandwiches were great, with quality toppings. They sliced the pepperoncini on my Mediterranean burger, which was a nice touch. One negative: the buns were really cold. I'd prefer them at room temp or heated/toasted. I'll be keeping an eye out for them at brewery in my neighborhood soon. I'm pretty sparing with my 5 stars, but this burger truck is getting all 5, for what they're trying to do, they're doing it perfectly. The meat was like burger magic, it was juicy and crispy on the edges with the oozy cheese and BBQ sauce and bacon, the bun was toasty, and the jalapeno poppers we chose as our side instead of fries squirted jala juice and cream cheese with every bite. I can't believe I can write Yelp reviews about food trucks, er...RVs. Got lucky and ran into Pile High outside of Golden City Brewery and had just enough draught pours to need some fries. But Pile High Burgers doesn't just have traditional fries--they serve what may possibly be the best sweet potato fries I have ever had in my life. They are definitely the best sweet potato fries I have ever had from a vehicle. The fries were so good I went back for a second order, but the real treat was the "PHB Fry Sauce." I haven't been able to replicate it on my own yet, but the best I could figure was Thousand Island with Chipotle pepper paste and crumbled feta. Doesn't seem as appealing typing it out. Definitely recommend the fries and sauces selection; unfortunately, I can't speak to the meat products but they did smell delicious. read more

Really this food truck is about accessorizing your sandwich. They have many toppings and encourage you to get creative. I had the Mexi burger, which was good, but would have been better with a toasted bun. The toppings of guacamole and a chile pepper, really cooled the meat off faster too. I really enjoyed my upgraded chile cheese fries. My boyfriend had the breakfast burger, and boy did that look glorious, another friend had I think the swiss burger.
