Pilgrim Coffee House - a hideaway haven in Colwood!
    Tara L.

This coffee house is a tiny haven in Colwood. Another hidden gem in West Shore. I'm so glad I found it! You wouldn't even know Pilgrim is here, hidden away in a medical building across from Colwood Corners strip mall. An oasis from the hustle and bustle and cars and concrete of West Shore. Lots of character. You'd think we were on Saltspring or in Fernwood... They serve Drumroaster Coffee, made-to-order sandwiches and local baked goods. Lots of people coming and going, from uni students to hikers on their way to the west coast. Many just chilling at a table enjoying a mug of coffee and treat. The patio space in summer is nice and zen. A great local spot to visit while in Colwood. When I stopped by, musician Jesse Roper was hanging out chatting with locals, so yes you know it's a cool place... :)

LOVE this coffee shop! Such a cute coffee shop with super super tasty food and coffees!! Super friendly baristas who go out of their way and actually deliver your food to your table if it is being warmed up. They also have patio seating so this is a great option for those sunny days! Highly recommended!!!

Small 10 table cafe with excellent coffee! Muffins, scones, breakfast sandwiches, etc - really yummie food. Gluten free options as well. Coffee really was excellent - we had latte, cappuccino, decaf americano (putting Starbucks to shame), and a caramel latte.

12oz drip coffee and pumpkin square for $5. Great deal :)

Had a 12-oz drip coffee and pumpkin square before resuming travel. Good and fast service, coffee was amazing. Definitely better than going to Starbucks.

Spectacular coffee and pastries, a must stop if you're in the area. We had toasted coconut and blueberry scones, amazing.

Despite our side quest, my husband still told me he enjoyed every second of that tea lunch and had a great time. They do a really good job about decorating it making it feel very authentic, and the tea was delicious and they really went above and beyond to explain everything that we were receiving. I would definitely go back!
