Spectacular coffee and pastries, a must stop if you're in the area. We had toasted coconut and blueberry scones, amazing.

This is such a great little business! The staff are always so nice and friendly! (There's a reason it is almost always full inside!) They serve Drumroaster coffee, which is so good! Also, if you want the absolute best scone you have ever eaten, try their triple berry scones! The batter they make for them is the best! It's nice that they also have a section to sell coffee beans and supplies. I actually wondered at one point if it would be cheaper buying the beans directly from Drumroaster, and their prices here are the same! (Plus, there's no drive up to Cowichan!) All in all, great place, great drinks, fantastic food! Wonderful owners, and absolutely worth the stop!! read more

We visited Victoria from the states and this coffee house is by far the best! We were here for a week and tried several different coffee houses and thought this was the best! The baked foods are excellent! The coffee tastes amazing! So smooth! read more

Nice ambiance and well situated for visits to Fisgard Lighthouse abs Royal Roads. The tea was decent. Unfortunately, the pastries left something to be desired. They *looked* delicious -- but the berry scone was a little tough and bland, and the lemon bar lacked any lemon flavor. read more

This coffee house is a tiny haven in Colwood. Another hidden gem in West Shore. I'm so glad I found it! You wouldn't even know Pilgrim is here, hidden away in a medical building across from Colwood Corners strip mall. An oasis from the hustle and bustle and cars and concrete of West Shore. Lots of character. You'd think we were on Saltspring or in Fernwood... They serve Drumroaster Coffee, made-to-order sandwiches and local baked goods. Lots of people coming and going, from uni students to hikers on their way to the west coast. Many just chilling at a table enjoying a mug of coffee and treat. The patio space in summer is nice and zen. A great local spot to visit while in Colwood. When I stopped by, musician Jesse Roper was hanging out chatting with locals, so yes you know it's a cool place... :) read more

Horrible abusive service by male server who might be owner. We were served bad tasting americanos - bitter and burnt - and asked to have brewed coffee instead. He refused, got belligerent, threw money at us. When I complained about being treated this badly, he got worse and told me to get out. Bad coffee and worse service. Avoid!! read more

Great coffee and pastries in an unassuming location. Their cappuccino is served at just the right temperature. They offer many dairy alternatives such as soy, almond, coconut, oat milk, etc. The pumpkin bread and banana bread were delicious and fresh. I definitely recommend this coffee shop amongst the chains in the area! read more

A really cute cafe in the neighborhood. I had a caramel macchiato, a berry muffin, and a sausage roll. They were all really good and fair priced. My friends and I chilled for about an hour. One of us even had her 1 year old. Having a booster seat and a toy handy was really great for us. One thing I really loved about this place is that they sell pour over coffee supplies. They even had Hario! I was super impressed by that. I am definitely making this a weekly spot. read more

Super friendly baristas who go out of their way and actually deliver your food to your table if it is being warmed up. They also have patio seating so this is a great option for those sunny days! Nice coffee place, which opens pretty early!

This is far out of my way-but I'm sure to stop here on my way up Island and before hikes :) Coffee is excellent and made with care-especially espresso beverages. Gluten free options are limited, but at least there are some available :) The gluten free oat bar is a 1/5. I have tried it twice-thinking perhaps the first time it wasn't made properly. It is essentially re hydrated gluten free oats-shaped into a bar form. It is tasteless and very very mushy..I could not finish the bite :( Will be back for an Americano however... and a nice patio. Despite it being along the highway-it is sheltered. read more
