The services are engaging and inclusive thanks to the rabbi Yosef, they always remember your name and what you've shared with them, the food is always delicious thanks to the hard working lovely Rebbetzin Yehudis, and the activities are fun and meaningful. Their many beautiful children are respectful, helpful and charming. Stop in for a shabbat, holiday, Holy Day, challah bake, carnival, you name it! These kindhearted people add grace and beauty to the world leading by fine example of tikun olam in the community. They deserve all of our support.

Your presence would be welcome here. Men and women sit separately. Women do not participate in the service. The Rabbi does include women in readings and conversation. I have been listening to the services this month…read more (November). I want so much to attend there services as the Spirit God is prevalent even streaming. I have been fed the unadulterated word by both the pastor and his assistant by way of streaming. The Apostolic doctrine is what I am familiar with as a young child. I am not so young now. but I still need to be fed and covered. I'm praying that I will be able to get there in person real soon.

The music is fabulous and you can participate in the service in person or at home via Livestream. They really make a difference in Hartford by giving organizations like ConnectiKids - a non-profit that supports kids after school with tutoring and Spectrum in Motion which is an inner city ballet company that has great summer programs for kids space in their building for their operaitons. . They also serve a community meal after services and support the neighborhood by using local caterers and restaurants, as well as home made items made by members. Plus, it's a beautiful sanctuary to reflect and listen. I hope you visit.

This is a great church. Not only is it totally inclusive and welcoming, it was the first church to…read moreordain an African American, to ordain a woman, to ordain an openly gay man, to affirm the right of same gender couples to marry, and to be in the forefront of the anti-slavery movement in the Civil Rights Movement. This particular church also believes strongly in serving its community by holding monthly community meals where they give out clothing, a hot lunch, and have trained nurses to answer medical questions.
