Mom received intense therapy 5 days a week, for multiple times a day. This was the best therapy after a stroke. Even in the mist of this major pandemic, she continued to receive excellent care. We are proud to say, she graduated from rehab today. We can't thank the staff enough for making her stronger to leave the facility. The administration here is awesome! The director of nursing (don) addressed everyone of my concerns (And I had a lot) and always let us know how much she cared for us and our happiness. Jo is the mother of the place, she surrounds you with comfort and ensures your happiness. Robin welcomes us while we were in the hospital and continued to make sure we were happy. Jamie made sure I got my nanny cam hooked up so I could check in Mom every day (multiple times a day). The RN nurses take calls and answer questions. The CNAs are HARD WORKERS and should receive medals for all they do. Don't get me wrong, there are some better than others. But for the most part, they do there best. A couple of the CNAs formed a special relationship With Mom, especially Renee. The facility is clean, the maintenance guy (thanks Mike) fixed anything that went wrong, the kitchen handled mom's special diet and always made sure she had OJ. They handled all her Landry needs, showered three times a week) this place sure took care of my Mom and we will be forever thankful. If someone asks if I'd recommend this place, hands down I would definitely say YES. If you go, meet with administrator, get a nanny cam, and visit a lot (once things open back up). I've…read morebeen nursing 40 years. my uncle went in last of January and bu March 17 he had a unstageable bed sore on his coccyx. i have documentation that I started keeping up phone conversations and pictures and much much more. no one is ever held accountable and yes I reported them to the great state of louisiana board over nursing homes. was told he clearing didn't have a bedsore when he went in but guess what they didn't hold them accountable. most of the aides I personally dealt with were very unprofessional and smart asses. One actually used his person bathroom to take a dump. so if you love your family stay the hell away from this place. you will regret it. And by the way he died a month later septic If you want your love one dead this is the place for you
