Mom received intense therapy 5 days a week, for multiple times a day. This was the best therapy after a stroke. Even in the mist of this major pandemic, she continued to receive excellent care. We are proud to say, she graduated from rehab today. We can't thank the staff enough for making her stronger to leave the facility. The administration here is awesome! The director of nursing (don) addressed everyone of my concerns (And I had a lot) and always let us know how much she cared for us and our happiness. Jo is the mother of the place, she surrounds you with comfort and ensures your happiness. Robin welcomes us while we were in the hospital and continued to make sure we were happy. Jamie made sure I got my nanny cam hooked up so I could check in Mom every day (multiple times a day). The RN nurses take calls and answer questions. The CNAs are HARD WORKERS and should receive medals for all they do. Don't get me wrong, there are some better than others. But for the most part, they do there best. A couple of the CNAs formed a special relationship With Mom, especially Renee. The facility is clean, the maintenance guy (thanks Mike) fixed anything that went wrong, the kitchen handled mom's special diet and always made sure she had OJ. They handled all her Landry needs, showered three times a week) this place sure took care of my Mom and we will be forever thankful. If someone asks if I'd recommend this place, hands down I would definitely say YES. If you go, meet with administrator, get a nanny cam, and visit a lot (once things open back up). Mom has dementia, and on quite a few occasions I've had to go to the staff for help in reaching mom by phone. The staff has been there for me every time. Never once was I made to feel like I was bothering them or asking for more than I should. They love my mom, and even gave her a very sweet nickname. When I go to visit, it seems like ALL the staff know mom by name and nickname Of course momma wants to go "home" but she is happy there when she's not lonely for her family. I have had one issue with management in almost 4 years and I think that's pretty good . I would recommend you check into Heritage-Stratmore to see if it would be a good fit for your loved one!

The day you are admitted you receive no therapy. The second afternoon you are evaluated but no PT…read more The third day nothing. You receive no PT on weekends. Some days you do not get but one PT session. You don't not get PT on your last day. Most people are limited to two weeks at facility by insurance due to cost. So in the 10 working days you are there, you are only active 6 of those days and if the skip 1 of the 1/2 days (or more) you're down to 5 or 6 days. Bright side.... Beautiful facility and the majority of staff are great with exception to one old crotchety nurse. Oh, I forgot, the food is atrocious.
