The other way that many in the area can tell what type of windy day it is, is by driving past this delightful travel plaza. While I'm biased, I think that old glory is the prettiest flag that has ever graced our shores, or any other. Shree's has the biggest, most impressive flag that I have ever seen! Whether you were driving over to Seattle and are just west of town, or are coming back from the west side and are at the crossroads of the state, you've definitely seen this flag. On a windy day, you get to see all the glory in all her proverbial glory! And while the colors don't run, you may just run here for an impressive selection of gas station pleasantries! they've got a good selection of all things pop, coffee, beef jerky, or whatever other snack you're looking for on your journey. The last time we stopped in here, we had quite the smattering of things brought back to the car. They included shredded beef jerky, some almonds, a number of different beverages, some string cheese, and a cup of tea for our matriarch! The gentleman running the place was very friendly, and as with most of these places, it was very efficient. The gas pumps outside are plentiful, have hoses that reach both sides of the car, regardless of which way you pull in, and last, but not least, the bathrooms are solid! They share a parking lot with an antique store that also sells many things you hadn't thought about in quite some time. All in all, this is a great Quick stop on your way east, or as you head west. Definitely faster than driving into town, and the gas prices are always better than most of the surrounding stops. Well worth your time, if nothing else to pay your respects to one of the largest flags you will ever see!

The diesel pump failed while I was fueling up causing my truck to get air in the lines and losing its prime. This ordeal caused me to be stranded for 2 days, my truck having to be towed to a dealership and me out my truck and trailer for weeks. Thank goodness I have good friends and another vehicle at home because I would have been screwed as I live 6 hours away from there.

And before the judgment rains down, this generally is for interesting and better than average gas station. We are talking things like food truck quality stuff that is coming out of a gas station. We came across such a delicacy here! We stopped in, on our way to Moses Lake, and then again on the way home, earlier this summer. It was just to grab drinks and snacks, but while at the register, I noticed what appeared to be healthy strips of bacon. When I inquired, they informed me that this was their famous candy bacon. This is indeed what will make them famous! The place in general is a good down home type gas station. Good selection of things to snack on and keep you awake. The bacon is where the magic happens. These are closer to pork belly than anything else. Super thick Wilbur strips with a sweet glaze. I think you may get one of these when you enter the pearly gates! We had one on the way to Moses Lake and grabbed 5 on the way back home. It was easily the best candied bacon I've had and may be the best overall we've had! They apparently go through dozens of pounds of this per week and it shows why! It was worth the price and a repeat visit like 6 hours later!

I was there for nearly an hour, to fill up 21 gallons. Insane! I know it's the last gas station before getting on the highway in Kittitas, but dude, why so slow?

A++++++++ Back…read morestory: Went to leave for a cruise found a bolt in the tire. We didn't have time to fix it so we knew we were running the chance of coming back to a flat. Which we did. Got it aired up and tired to find someone to fix it. Called a place they said yes we can get you in. We get there and it's a 2 - 2 and half hour wait. Tire is holding air so back on the road....until...the bolt came out. We limped it in and while changing the tire found a local. He recommended Willette's. We had no choice... Boy a was I glad we made the choices we did. Rolled into this service station and they got us in and done in under 30mins. All while they were dealing with a 3 semi truck pile up (under manned) and had three people in line before and still got us in. Very professional and absolutely puts the customer first. I wish all places had this small town vibe. THANK YOU!!!!!

There was no driveway, no yellow curb, no official City of Cle Elum parking sign, and no other indication that curb parking was restricted. The only "No Parking/Tow Away" sign was attached to the fence of a private residence behind the public sidewalk. Under Washington law, a private impound applies to vehicles on private property, while a public impound is authorized by law enforcement or another public official with jurisdiction over the public property. See RCW 46.55.010 and RCW 46.55.080. I have not found any Cle Elum ordinance authorizing private residents or tow operators to reserve or tow vehicles from otherwise unrestricted public street parking. Rather than explaining any legal authority, the driver simply told me to move my car after backing up with lights on posturing. Bummer for him, I had a bad day and am a lawyer, but also too tired to confront a wanna be cowboy. I moved my vehicle because it wasn't worth risking an improper tow, but the experience was unnecessarily hostile and intimidating.

They used 2 hot water pressure washers, soap, 2 hand brushes and some chemical for the wheels. Took about 45 minutes and car looks amazing. And they only wanted $10 ! I gave them the 10 and another $10 for a tip. Great Job.!! Gave a 4 star and not a 5 because they do not dry the vehicle.

They sanitized my water tank, but left the fluid in the tank and didn't tell me. I found out when I filled the tank to go camping and white, foamy water came out of my faucet. They lost the cap to my water tank and made me buy a new one. They never checked the refrigerator which I ended up replacing myself. Several other issues. Ultimately, I paid $2700 and never received an itemized invoice. Total ripoff!
