#32/2023 Well the old pilot at channahon tiny crowded congested always. This is one of those cases where they've never rebuilt because they're what they call landlocked. When this was originally built it never had showers it still does not have showers this is a fuel stop that has a Subway and a Dunkin' Donuts inside of it Dunkin' Donuts operates separately. So therefore the review of The Double D will come on its own page. This is always been a very congested pilot it still is as it grows with more industrial around the area it gets even more congested however it's not the only pilot within a 15 minute drive. They're very small fueling area the gas pumps are fine the store itself is small it has all the stuff most pilots have so no need for a big long review the only glaring difference here is no showers never had never will apparently there's something about the city of permit they need the pilot does not want a pony up the big bucks for. Because there's numerous other pilots that have showers and more driver for truck amenities nearby. So when you come in here just know especially if you're in a big rig you're going to be waiting probably to get to the fuel Island it's going to be a jostle back and forth through the little parking lot weaving your way up to there. One thing they finally did though is put up fancy pretty Island so you can't turn left out of there you got to come back through the truck entrance so basically coming off of the few Island you make a big U-ie come back up the little access road which brings you back over to the street at a stoplight. I only stopping here anymore when I really need fuel if I don't I tend to avoid this one just because of the cluster. Although nothing really stands above average nothing's really below average it serves its purpose so therefore three stars right across the board read more

Pilot Travel Center - Clusterfuk always at this one always has been way too small - Gas Stations Near Me - Channahon, Illinois

First time coming here. I'm used to going to the newer travel stop across the street. This is an older travel stop but it's smaller than most. This place features a Dunkin Donuts (with Drive Thru) and a Subway. It's dimly lit inside the Pilot. Prices are a bit high. The clerk watches over everyone like a hawk! There's really not alot of traffic over here you'll bump into. Easy access to East and West streets thanks a brand new 4 way stop light. Fair place to check out. read more

Barely any parking and the only pilot In USA that has no showers. Gotta love it! And seeing how Chicago is strict and hates truckers you can't leave your trailer here to go somewhere else to take a shower otherwise you get towed. Either way I'm not going to let it ruin my day. Fuel isles be crowded and not really much parking available even in the middle of the day, there are no showers available at this truck stop as well, only good thing about this location is it has a Subway and a nice restaurant across the street called Taco Burrito King. read more

Good stop, clean, and organized store. Clean ladies restroom. Variety of stuff/souvenirs, etc. Lots of snacks, drinks, etc to choose from. Purchased a nice book for my son. Subway, and Donkin' Donuts inside. Grabbed a sub to go. Very nice friendly service and staff from the Subway, and the store cashier. Subway prep area was clean, and my Sub was really good! Only issue is if you are in a semi, there's not much room on fuel isle, stacked 3 deep. Also need a sign showing where to turn in for trucks. read more

Surprising how they can open a brand new store and then fill it with the laziest and filthiest people possible. The store still looks new but it's already showing the signs of horrible help. They have four employees here and I know it's 6 am on Saturday but still it shouldn't be this dirty. The coffee area looks unattended for hours. No clean showers and when I ask about one the cashier said she had to clean five during the night. Hey. I drove all night save your complaining. So here I sit 30 minutes later waiting for someone else to clean them. I guess this is quality of workers you get for minimal pay. read more

I will no longer purchase fuel at any of the Pilot stations. Pilot has stopped thinking about the Americans that make purchases at their stations when they made the decision to no longer fly the American flag because it offends some people. We are losing the flag, historic statues and monuments because they offend some people. What about the people that have lived their entire here and have made the flag a big part of their lives? You take from one large group of Americans to give to a group of people that came here from somewhere else in the world, and are know telling use Americans what we can do, and what we can have. I am tired of people changing our country to suit them. It has to stop. We have rights and want also, but no one cares. read more

The construction makes this gas station a little tough to get in and out of but at least that's only temporary! The prices here are comparable to the other gas stations in the area. There is a full 24 hour Subway and Dunkin' Donuts inside with a drive thru for the Dunkin Donuts. The staff is always very friendly and the coffee bar for the gas stations is always well stocked and clean. I stop here for the morning necessities mostly every morning on my way to work. read more

No showers, no scale, I came in here for fuel a while back one night and couldn't get fuel at the pump, had to go into the fuel desk. Waited forever for her to get to me. Forgot all about it and stopped here again tonight. Tried to put my info in at the pump and it didn't do anything. I only give two stars because it seems fairly clean and you can get something to eat here. It's screwed up getting in and out of here. read more

The 5 stars are for their hiring Mike to help with traffic. Its a teeny turnaround and trucks trying to fuel and park and would really be a mess if it werent for him. Give that man a raise!! read more
