I had to stop to refuel and give the body a break. The bathroom key thing was annoying and the stick the key was attached to was at least 15" long. Since the restroom was inside the station, it seemed silly to have to get a key. The stick is unsanitary and what concerned me was that inside the station was a Subway restaurant, the toaster oven for the sub sandwiches was broken. I would never eat at this Subway. It was also right next to entrance to the restrooms. There was no sign posted in the restroom for employees to wash their hands before returning to work, and if they had to handle that nasty stick with the key attached to it, before returning to work. The fact that the station is so into control about locking the restroom makes me never want to go stop here in the future.

The bathrooms have been renovated and are very CLEAN. The microwave is close to the entrance of the business and is in good working condition and CLEAN. Perhaps Carla should try the Hayti Travel Center again. Oh, and there is a sign that says "Employees must wash hands before returning to work". Like everybody needs a sign to tell them that.

I called in around 5pm to inquire about getting tires mounted, along with the pricing. I got here…read morean hour later, (6pm) and was allowed to schedule an appointment to have the tires mounted, given an estimated wait time of 1.5 hrs. 9pm I get a call to pull into bay 3. I sit at the door for 20min only to be told they can't mount tires that aren't on the rim already, per new policy. The policy was unavailable for viewing, and for lack of better words he said I was kind of screwed and he didn't know upon arrival.
