This particular pilot's location always has plenty of fresh coffee, plenty of snacks, drinks, food, friendly staff and clean restrooms. There is also a Wendy's built in. This Pilot is my go-to gas station on my way down the hill and back up the hill. Besides gas, they have their travel center where you can get some quick lunch, snacks, nifty souvenirs, use the restrooms, showers are available for truckers (I wonder if they offer them to non-truckers), etc. There's a Wendy's... honestly, I have never cared for Wendy's, but I'm surrounded by them LOL. Also Cinnabon is in the house... I like cinnamon rolls, but one is good enough for me... they can get really sweet. Outside gas pump area is not always the cleanest, but really, if we do our part as customers, then it should always stay clean, right?... let's do our part folks! Sometimes, one or two pumps are out of commission. The only gripe I have with this gas station is when they run out of paper receipt at the pump... actually, this applies to any gas station LOL. I prefer not to go inside the center unless I have to. If I have some paper form, I will write down the amount as a workaround... I do balance my credit card statement LOL. One thing I don't notice are attendants outside around the gas pumps... they are all inside the center. They need to have their staff check the outside more often to empty the trash, replace paper receipt, etc. Pilot gas prices are comparable to Costco (hence, I gave Pilot +1 star). I normally pump either here or Costco. The only time I pump any place else is when Costco is closed or I'm too far from Pilot. When you're on your way to Las Vegas or heading south on the 15 Fwy, Pilot is the way to go for your gas and all other in route needs. Happy Piloting! read more

It can get super busy, and there is not a lot of concern for COVID, I was the odd one out wearing my mask, but the staff did all have on masks. The bathrooms aren't the cleanest. They have truck parking for the rigs. They have gas and diesel with def pumps. They are very over priced. This actually is a review for the Wendy's inside the Pilot. Leslie was the cashier and was not only sweet but she was also working very hard. The other workers working on the food line and the window were slow not courteous and looked very unhappy. Leslie however would run from register to putting on gloves and working the food line as she waited for another customer to come up to order. She was so sweet and worked so hard! She defined deserves a promotion! read more

Review more for the panhandler tapped on my car window and asked for money. Well, she had on $200 sunglasses. I told her she needed a better story and she called me all kinds of names and told me to mind my own business and not to talk to her... I said you are the one beggin... she walked away. BEWARE! Not only do they have a hold authorization of $151 dollars on credit transactions, which my bank denied as fraud since this is how much a full tank costs my hybrid vehicle, they charged an additional $1.50 on my debit transaction. It looks like an authorization but cleared my account instead of dropping off like It should have. Of course there was no paper and a receipt didn't print, hence the pictures I took. I'll have to file a claim with my bank and I'm sure I'll eventually get my money back but what unethical business practices! read more

What more can you say about a busy gas/convenience stop in the middle of the desert? The good: HUGE selection of road snack and fresh coffee. The bad: getting in and out of the parking lot/gas service lot can be an exercise in life altering circumstance. Take your time and plan your entry to make exiting easy. People whip in and out of this lot, especially at night, so be careful and take your time. Hesperia, CA - clean bathrooms and cheap breakfast at Wendy's. Sausage biscuits for $1.69 and Bacon/Egg/Cheese biscuits for $2.99. And as usual, the Large Iced Teas are almost more expensive than the food - $2.49. Fast food is always so cheap, and bad for you but man it's delicious. Friendly staff, we were in/out and back on the road in about 15 minutes. Definitely a good stop either to or from Las Vegas. read more

Not the best Pilot experience today. First the pump I pulled up to had no nozzle. No problem I washed my windows while waiting fo the next one. Next the restrooms were out of order. No big deal they had pleanty of porta potty so outside. Then I went inside to do some shopping for a couple of items you'll only find at Pilot. The store was so cluttered with merchandise that needed to be put on shelves that I feared for my safty and walked out. The price of gas was competitive to the area. Not much to say about this place other than it has way cheaper gas than you'll find anywhere else around this area. As you travel north on the 395, gas will only get more expensive. For comparison, gas here was around 2.60 per gallon. Once you reach Lone Pine it was 3.14, Mammoth 3.33, then in Lee Vining it was freaking 4.00 a gallon. Best fill up here before heading north. The station its self is more of a trucker stop with lots of amenities catering to truckers more than anything else. If you need some coffee to stay awake, they have tons of different types to choose from, nothing fancy just straight up caffeine. read more

I've been here many times and every single time it's messy and unstocked. Today their iced tea was just water and the soda machine was very watery and no c02 so nothing had carbonation. the fork dispensers were empty. The sink in the restroom didn't work and this was just today. This location is constantly a disappointment compared to all other Pilots that Ive been to. Its ALWAYS unstocked and the counters near the coffee are filthy. the Pilot in Fontana CA is impeccable every single day that I go to it. I usually visit this one every workday because it's right near my office. read more

This place is a nice location to stop, but it's almost obscured from the highway. The restrooms are decently clean for a place that's SO busy. Gas prices are relatively low, and in my opinion, probably the lowest in the area. But they aren't so low that you'll be shocked--they're just not marked up as much as other stations. read more

7/22: This is my go to spot. What is there not to like? There's always a spot for me at this gas station. I love how clean their bathrooms are and the selection of snacks and miscellaneous stuff that they have inside. Fortunately the times I need to go to the register the wait has been short. Most of time I only get gas and use the restroom. Just going to the restroom is fun for me zig zagging around the line, passing through the great smelling cinnamon rolls and then pass the wonderful smell of coffee, and last seeing some type of sports gear or tourist gears near the restrooms. The Wendy's next to it is quite convenient as well. Great stop for on the way to Vegas, Tahoe, or wherever you're going. read more

I stopped here for gas before coming down the Cajon Pass. It's an easy on, easy off stop and the price was 40 cents less per gallon than one of the "we will rob you" freeway stations. I'll stop at Pilot when I need gas again. It is convenient and the price is right! read more

I'd like to commend Greg on two kindnesses within an hour of each other. First, he offered me a ride to my truck, via the stores golf cart. Second, he took charge and fixed a shower code problem for me, that was not allowing me access to the shower I was told to go to. The thing is, Greg performed these acts of kindness with a smile, genuine concern, and professionalism. As an OTR trucker, I see too many of my fellow truckers; well, just doing some pretty disgusting things. Treating truck stops as their personal dumping grounds. Treating employees at truck stops horribly. I'm certain it can be pretty rough at times cleaning up after some of these slobs. That's why when I see someone like Greg truly embracing his job, it can not go unnoticed. I hope Pilot will take the time to acknowledge Greg for his willingness of spirit, and kindness. read more

I stopped by Hair tonight and went inside and it wasn't busy. There were no customers in line. I stood waiting to be helped while one cashier was closing out a drawer and another cashier was standing over by the food and the third cashier was having a conversation with someone cleaned up against the cash register. I can do it there for three minutes and not one employee even acknowledged me in any way. I turned around and walked out. This has been my gas station for the last 18 years.
