Every time I visit, I'm consistently impressed by the outstanding customer service provided by the entire team. The staff is always courteous, professional, and genuinely helpful. In my opinion, most gas station food leaves a lot to be desired--but this location is a welcome exception. The food is consistently fresh and enjoyable, making it stand out among similar establishments. I'd also like to recognize the store manager in particular. On two separate visits, the iced coffee machine wasn't working properly. She took the time to kindly explain the issue and resolved it quickly each time, all while remaining patient and attentive. This speedway still doesn't accept Apple Pay or chase Pay, but the technology is there once they decide to. What's also nice about this gas station is speedy rewards members get three cents off per gallon. I haven't stepped foot in the store itself, so I can't review it, just get my gas and leave. The garbage is never overflowing and the area s around the pumps are clean.

I did put some gas in my car while I was there - and the pump worked great. I think I even was able to get a receipt printed out from the pump - SHOCKER. Most places don't have that feature working and tell me to go in to the cashier for a copy - which defeats the convenience of pay at the pump. Anyways, I did want a coffee. And this is NOT your typical order at the counter situation. It was high tech and all done via that machine. SO MANY options to pick from. and clicking on the screen makes the issues of calories and cost seem irrelevant. I ended up with an expensive, calorie-laden treat. I LOVE sweats but it was actually too sweet for me. My bad. After you finish your order, you print out the receipt and take it to the counter to pay and have the drink made. I think it took about 5 minutes - not a rush since we were there for hours to talk. They do have tables to sit at. They also have food you can order. My drink was fine as was my friend's. We sat and chatted for almost 3 hours. At which time we both used the rest room before driving our separate ways home. Restrooms were clean and plenty of stalls. I highly recommend this Sheetz. I think there were other bells and whistles - not on the scale of Buc-EEs, but still more than your Speedway or BP. There is one not too far from me but not in a location I ever pass. I think they are also building one in our city. I would not hesitate to stop here for gas or coffee when I get a chance and it's convenient. As that's how I roll.

Yeah, it takes a while but it's free electricity and that's okay with me. Inside, the convenience store is clean, well stocked and brightly lit. A very polite and clean young man rang up my purchase and thanked me for my business. What? Yes. Good coverage over the pumps. There's an Arby's inside as well as free WiFi even in the lot. It's pretty cool as this is the only station I'm aware of that has EV charging. For a small town like Marengo that's pretty surprising.

I stood there while he continued to watch his phone until he noticed there was a customer standing there. He nonchalantly proceeded to ring up my items and then went straight back to playing on his phone. The guys seemed to care less that he was at work. I understand that there is downtime in work places but that was absolutely blatant carelessness for how you are perceived at your place of employment.
