With the increase of gas prices, who wouldn't like a 6¢ savings per gallon when filling up your ride. That savings is everyday, 24 hours a day and no matter how cheap or expensive the gas is. I forgot to fill up before leaving home and while shopping in the area, I remembered. I was thankful this MotoMart was near by, so I could save $ while filling up. I did get a giggle at the pump, most pumps now have only one hose and you just push a button for the grade of gas that you want. These pumps are primitive, they have a hose for each grade of gas. Easy access to and from the main road in front of the station. The station itself is a little dated, but it still has all the bells and whistles to give you the service you need. It seems to be popular, so you'd think some Yelper would have already got the review ball rolling. The staff was friendly, moved the lines quickly and still offered personable service. I was even impressed with the cleanliness and well stocked merchandise for the volume of business they were doing. This is not a QT in my hood or a typical area that I travel, but they impressed me and would recommend it for those who live near by.

The electronic pump screen indicated to see the clerk for assistance, or to wait. I checked with the clerk who was particularly unhelpful. I appears when the system updates, it shuts down all processes related to fuel. The clerk was unable to explain why the system was updating during a weekday morning instead of late at night and really was not interested in speaking with anyone as he turned away and started stocking the cigarette shelves. I will exclude this Shell station from future gas stops.

He was upfront and told me they probably couldn't get to the car until the afternoon. Later, I'm pretty sure he was the same guy who called me and told me what they found (some fluids needed filling and air filter replacement, etc.), and he gave me an exact price. Prices were decent, but I'm not from the area, so maybe that's skewed. Later, I picked up the car from a different guy and he seemed like I was wasting his time. Excuse me? I'm handing you my credit card and you are taking money from my account. Maybe you want to lighten up. Hit or miss, here. But my car seems perfectly happy and I suppose that's all that matters. Bonus point for being upfront and straightforward about everything. :)
