While the Nurse Practitioner was good, the front office is so terrible that it is impossible to either reach her or get support. My father was given a new medication that caused such a severe negative reaction that he ended up spiraling so quickly that he passed away in two weeks. I tried to call numerous times, no return call or answer. I left messages. No return call. When my father finally died, I called to let them know. Here was the interaction - ring ring - immediately on hold with no answer. Then the voice "Pima Neurology." I said, "I was calling to let you know my father passed away". Answer back, "birthdate". I gave it. Answer back, "I will tell her. Have a nice day." Disconnect. This sums up every interaction with this group. Front office is cold, heartless, unhelpful and rude. Find a different office. I wish my parents had never found them. I wish I could give them a Zero. No matter the skill of the practitioner- if you can't get past the gate keeper, it is not worth risking being a patient in the practice. read more

First impression- office has a lot of supplements for sale and there is a notice informing patients that they will only see the doctor on their first visit, after that it will be his nurse. He diagnosed my husband with Parkinson's, or perhaps a stroke, and prescribed medication. In actual fact my husband has ALS and, although this can be a very difficult thing to diagnos, Dr Dinn didn't even consider it as a possibility. We would definitely not recommend him. read more

Dr. Din, I had an appointment with one of your nurse practitioners yesterday and discovered that your office has a standard of care that includes belittling, doubting a patient's word, not listening to why a patient may have made the decisions made, and using humiliation to gain "authority" during an appointment conversation. It is unfortunate that you feel it is okay to prescribe a medication necessary to support of a person's ability to function, yet don't provide enough of the medication to last until the next appointment. It is unfortunate that your front desk personnel does not forward vital messages to the prescriber about a needed change in the medication. An example is my August 14 call to your office at 8:20 to give a message to one of the nurse practitioners that I needed to increase the dosage of my medication. The nurse practitioner said they had not heard of any such call, insinuating that I was lying. The front desk person also decided it was within their overview to insinuate that I was "drug seeking". These are some, but not all, of the reasons I cannot continue using your office in my search for resolving my long-COVID symptoms in order to return to my normal life, or at least as much as possible. Overcoming a new disease requires critical thinking, compassion, and a willingness to delve into the specifics, not rely on an established routine. read more

OK..here we go! When I first went to the Dr, it was good! I brought a friend because VERY hard of hearing, and want to make sure I understand what the Dr says.. We interfaced wall, the Dr did some preliminary tests that showed serious problems; as many of his Patients have.. Second appt..everybody was on time...staff short handed that day but they did the best they could. I should interject that before first visit I checked to make sure they took my Insurance/showed my cards, etc... So after the second visit, I went out to schedule third visit. I was so happy! See, I have a retired medical license the Dr and I could understand each other which really sped things up!!.. BUT..the gal informed me that they didn,t take my insurance ! I bring this up because other reviews had same problem. Me.." You've got to be kidding".. Great repoire with Dr; we were going to do an EEG....how could this happen. So I had to stop seeing him. I did ask the front desk if he would send me my records. Dr. did, no charge; and I didnt owe them any money.".it was not my fault." A bit of humor..I did find out the Dr was..less than pleased...and there was a quick staffing adjustment. He has 3 more gals at front office now. . Other reviews mentioned the Practice trying to sell them stuff. Look, any of you who have been in med field for awhile know the best are a combination of Conventional and Holistic; especially in a complex field like Neurology,. If you have any type of neurological issues, Dr. Din is the guy for you! His staff is amazing, he has a lot of support in terms of physicians assistants, and they truly care about your well-being. I liked Dr Din. He seemed very knowledgeable and listened. I had several tests fine in the office. I went back for the test results. I saw his NP, Polina. She asked why I was there. I told her to get the test results. She said my test results had not been read yet. It had been 3 weeks. She left the room. In 5 minutes she came back and said the test results were fine. She asked if I needed anything else. She didn't want to discuss the test results. I asked if there were any other test that could be done to figure out what was wrong. I told her I was concerned because the symptoms seemed to point to MS. She said they did, but there were no other tests to be done. (Never did any imaging of my brain). I was offered some supplements (they sell) or a couple of other medications she thought might help. I get the impression that Dr Din is the rainmaker. After you see him once, you're shunted off to his NP. read more

This is the most unprofessional medical office I've ever dealt with. My primary care doctor sent them a referral in September. I didn't hear a word. In October, I called and left a message. They called back to schedule an appointment, claiming they never received the referral (not true, I checked) and that besides, one wasn't needed anyway. The appointment was scheduled for December 20th. I went there today. Was told, oh, we don't have a referral for you. And we don't have your phone number (despite them calling me back and putting my address and phone number in their computer system when the appointment was made). Dr. Din is okay, but everyone else in the office is rude. The nurse practitioner has blamed my MS symptoms on my period and basically has made me feel like none of my symptoms are actually valid. She's also given me unsolicited advice about child-bearing, and that was my first time ever talking to her. It took me aback because I didn't even bring it up, I don't even want kids. Then the office. I needed prior authorization for my medication. Well, my pharmacy had been trying to contact this office for over four months to let them know prior authorization was needed. No word. When I go to refill my meds, I'm told it's on hold for prior authorization, but I'm quickly running out. I had to go back and forth between the pharmacy and the office multiple times and it's STILL not resolved. I kept asking if they got a fax from the pharmacy and was continually told no, nothing. They didn't even check. They only checked when I kept calling, and then I got a, "oh yeah, the paper is right here." They blamed it on new people in the office but this was ongoing for the last four months so that makes no sense. For a neurology office that specializes literally in neurological issues, nothing is made easy. I'd recommend a different office, but Tucson seems to be one of the worst cities to find good doctors in, so good luck I guess? read more

I have seen Dr. Din a few times now after my neurologist of many years, Dr. Wendt,retired. The first few visits with Dr. Din went well and were timely. The last couple times, I have had to wait. This morning, I was the first appointment, at 8a.m. and the first to check in. He did not come in the room until 8:26. I had planned on leaving at 8:30. I know it is common to wait at a doctor appointment, but when being the first one and still waiting a half hour, well, that's ridiculous. There are a lot of people working there and the greeting staff is not the most friendly. They double or triple book for the same time slot. I am looking for a new neurologist. I am very disgusted with the professionalism of this doctor! I was in with my daughter-in-law and as we were checking out The checkout girl went to ask the doctor and the medical assistant some thing and as I looked over I saw the doctor had his hand on his little medical assistants waist. Speaking of which she was not very kind and was very rude in the room and she gave me attitude when she called us back. We were refused care twice because the patient had been involved in an auto accident and could not be seen despite having a referral and proper insurance coverage. He had a concussion and was recovering from a brain bleed and we were simply told to "hope everything is okay." Ethically unacceptable. read more

Dr. Din was very insensitive when dealing with my case. I have had chronic ankle pain for over 11 years, and my podiatrist referred me to Dr. Din just to make sure my nerves were not the issue. After conducting a nerve test, Dr. Din told me he could not find the source. However, the issue was that he continuously cut me off when I was explaining my case to him and told me "some people just have to live with pain and just deal with it". Beware!!! Dr. Din was my neurologist up until 3 days ago. I am a chronic migraine sufferer. I was diagnosed by him over 10 years ago. I have suffered from severe anxiety and was diagnosed 15 years ago with it. Dr. Din started me on a medication for migraines then suddenly at my follow up he tells me the medication combination is lethal! That's right... LETHAL! He is the one that started me on it. I do like Dr.Din, he has been proactive but, a pretty terrible practice to charge your patients $50 just to fill out a form for MVD when you know they have to have the form to be able to drive. I have been epileptic since I have had my license and I have been to many different neurologists and this is the only one I have ever even heard of having a fee like this. If it isn't already bad enough to have an incurable medical condition having your physician basically hold you license financially hostage over a single page form is just the icing on the cake. read more
