Fantastic salon! I just discovered this recently and this is my second visit with Christina for waxing services. She is extremely professional, makes you feel comfortable and is easy to talk with. She educates her clients on how to care for your skin after getting waxed and the timeframe between waxing. I haven't used the salon for mani/pedi or hair services yet, but will soon! Wow, can't recommend this place enough. Family run for almost 20 years, and when you walk in, you're welcomed... which I frankly haven't experienced consistently in the area. Clean, bright open space. They offer nail services, facials and massages, besides unisex hair styling services. I was lucky enough to get a same day appointment, and was given great service over the phone when making my appointment. Tom made my experience great, and gave me lots of good local recommendations. All customers there seemed like regulars, and were all treated like family. Wish places like this existed in the northeast. They opened a state of the art, beautiful new location in Bay St Louis with all the same great services. Be sure to check out either location. read more

I am writing this review to prevent someone to have the horrible experience I had. I haven't dyed or done anything for years. I just wanted a change to give my hair texture and dimension. However, I got everything I did not want! And nothing even close to what I asked for. I showed the guy what I wanted and he explained that because my hair was too dark it would be a little hard to achieve what I wanted. The picture I posted is the picture I showed the stylist of what I wanted and he explained that it was a balayage. He then proceeded to tell me that highlights would be better. I said fine as long as I left with a brown. I also got a very bad hair cut. I left with half highlights, a bad hair cut and a tone in my hair color that did not match my skin tone. I called to get it fixed and was told I had to pay again. I had to spend more money with a different hair stylist to fix the problem and when the other stylist looked at my hair she said it was something as simply leaving toner longer. She explained that my hair was uneven and very badly cut. I just think I spent too much money to get something I did not want in the first place, and more money to fix it. I got charged for a hair cut, full highlights, and the color I did not like. I just felt like they did what he wanted nothing of what I wanted and then charged me full price for half highlights. I strongly don't recommend. Everything I was afraid of happening to my hair happened. read more

Each time I go here, no matter the stylist, they tend to be rude, always offering lectures and insults.

Destiny cut and styled my hair. She didn't listen to anything I asked for - super basic. I left with 4" shorter than I asked for, and the most boring haircut I've ever had. By the end of the appointment I knew far more about her daughter's orthodontics than she knew about what her paying client desired. I called them after to share my poor experience, not wanting to blast them on-line (here, e.g.). The manager told me a half dozen times 'Everyone has a bad day', among other things, and defended her when I wasn't on the offense. I was giving dissatisfied feedback. If a doctor has a bad day, does that mean he gets has a pass to possibly harm a patient? If a customer service or salesperson has a bad day, does that make it okay to take it out in a customer? Leave your bad day and bad excuses at the door, Azalea. Everyone was nice enough, the facility is bright and clean. That's the best I can say about the place though. If you decide to give it a shot because of all the other great reviews (that's why I chose them), DO NOT SCHEDULE WITH DESTINY. I found Salon Alexanders on Cowan, just a few miles away, and they were amazing. Better prices, warm and friendly staff and stylists, and oh, they listened to what I wanted, and delivered. read more

Great pedicures, fantastic hair cuts, good service, very friendly staff, absolutely stellar color. Destiny and Anthony are my favorites, but everyone there is very talented. You know that old saying about not knowing what you've got 'till it's gone? I'm tempted to move back to the Mississippi Gulf Coast just so Destiny can cut and color my hair! i don't even want to give this a star....I got a mani-pedi on Tuesday july the 11th 2023....1st off I had to wait 15 minutes past my appointment time...915am....then the lady who did my nails told me to pick my nail color which I did and then proceeded to tell me it was only In gel...okay...the gel started to PEEL off on Sunday ...the charge for this nonsense cost $150 and that was without the TIP...am I stupid cause when did this service cost $150!!!!!! My favorite place to come and be pampered. I started coming to Azalea six years ago because a friend of mine had amazing hair. She was a redhead and it is hard to find someone who knows how to do natural red hair correctly. Tom and Destiny are great at everything they do. The whole staff is professional and makes sure your experience at the spa and salon is first class every time you visit. I've since moved from the Gulfport area but make plans around visiting Azalea when I am in the area. If you are lucky enough to live in the area make this a regularly scheduled treat for yourself, if you are visiting the area this is the place for nails, hair and massage (Miss Kay is the bomb). read more

This is the best salon I've ever been to!! The interior is beautiful, and everyone is very friendly. They have snacks out and are always offering drinks. I'm military and was very temporarily in the Biloxi/Gulfport area but was in need of a hair appointment. I googled the closest location and found Azalea, which had amazing reviews. After calling very short notice they got me in and took amazing care of my blonde hair. I arrived with brassy/yellow blonde hair and walked out with an amazing white-ish blonde balayage which is just what I wanted. Tom, Lynn, and Bao(spelling?) took care of me and they were awesome. The salon is beautiful and clean and even though they were busy with a lot of clients, they paid me a ton of attention and it didn't take too long. They were also funny and great with conversation and made me feel very comfortable. Tom really knows what he is doing and gave me a lot of great tips for my blonde hair. Booked a couple's massage and really all I can say is...AWESOME! The spa is clean, relaxing, and smells good (lemongrass in the defusers). The massage rooms had the warming beds, relaxing music, and dim lighting. My masseuse was amazing. He used the right amount of pressure. My husband said his masseuse was very good too. I'm new to the area and I am VERY picky about who I let cut my hair! While out shopping for school clothes with my 5 year old son, a woman complimented me on how long my hair was. It goes half way down my back, a bit below my shoulder blades. I told her thank you and asked if she knew any where I could go that did a good job and wasn't to pricey! This was the 1st place she recommended...after doing some research on my cell, I figured I would go check it out! I went to Azaleas like two days before a job interview; and I got a haircut that I loved. Tom has done color correction on my hair and I loved it when I walked out of the salon. Sadly my hair needed a lot of work and didn't hold my color as well as I had hoped but that was no fault of the salons or any of the stylists. The atmosphere is very relaxing and very welcoming. You always feel very taken care of; and it's a beautiful salon and it's very clean. Tom is very good at what he does and every stylist there is very nice and very experienced.
