We ordered a side of salami and Swedish cheese and the hairy pig board. I enjoyed the side, but the board not so much. The board consisted of wild boar sausage with broche bun, wild boar taco, peppercorn fries, and wild boar lasagna. The board was quite heavy and salty. I didn't have enough stomach space to even try the taco. I did enjoy the fries, but it's not enough for me to want to return.

You can find this place outside by the wooden sign with the boar on it, then simply peer down into the low window and if you see a hairy pig nomming on a sausage, congratulations! You're in the right place. We stopped in not long before closing time and that was probably the only reason we were able to get a much coveted table. The barkeep was nice and let us put in a quick order while also getting us drinks. Unfortunately for me, there were not very many gluten free tapa options on the menu, but there were a few naturally gf. The salami and sausages were thought to have gluten so I went with the smoked shell on shrimp, a cheese dip, and some salad with olives. I wasn't crazy about the smoked shrimp but the olives and cheese were good. The husband enjoyed a sausage in bun which he said was great. Overall we liked the vibe and I think if you can eat the locally sourced meats like my husband it's probably a pretty solid place. If you're gf or allergy you'll probably still be hungry at the end of the meal like I was.

The server explained how everything worked: all the plates are small/tapas style and represent certain, so you pick how many courses you want (3, 5,7) . We were impressed that he'd taken the time to do so. Arriving for our reservation around sunset, the warm intimacy of the atmosphere became apparent. We began with drinks, but again needed a bit of help with the menu, as we hadn't remembered every detail. Victor, our server, was just as knowledgeable on each plate as the chef had been. He took my husband's need to avoid gluten seriously, which we appreciated. Each of the dishes we ordered was truly outstanding, with each and every element prepared exactly as it was meant to be (nuts toasted to flavorful perfection, and so on). The attention to detail was beyond any meal we've had in years, which made it the most flavorful and enjoyable dinner we've had in years. Luckily for me the song selection on that particular Saturday night was ragga, hip hop, and dance hall - which I love by the way. In between drinks I danced a lot with my friends and had a lot of fun, but it's not a traditional Swedish type of music so you won't find the stereotypical swedes around there. If you want something a little different, go down the stairs, there is a little pub and another dance floor (which was then playing very intense dub step).
