I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr Pincus and his staff. I am a 50 year old mom of 4 that never had time for herself. I met Dr. Pincus through Joanne Vitale in 2015 when they were both working with Dr. Romanelli and he was just as much as a pleasure meeting then; as he was when I most recently visited his office to meet with Joanne for my routine Botox, etc. Firstly, I will follow Joanne wherever it is that she goes and for as long as she remains in this business. She's become someone I consider a friend and that's imperative to have that kind of a relationship with someone you are in trusting with your face and injectables. Joanne, truly is a gem in general, but especially; in her line of work/profession. By choice, I've tested out the hands of other offices by recommendation from family/friends, but I'll always compare them to Joanne's conservative take on injectables and her always, gentle-hand. From 2015 to date; Joanne has always, made me feel like more than just a patient of hers and it's both; professional/personal ethic that not only keeps me returning for my routine visits, but also both wanting/looking forward too them as well. I've referred countless, family/friends too Joanne and they've all had only the most positive feedback as well. All, of whom have returned since their initial visits. So ,, I searched on google for the best general surgeon in my area of Port Jeff. Dr. Pinkhas came up multiple times. Aside from the reviews of his skills as a surgeon, bedside manner as well as the kindness of office staff are very important to me. We live on the North Shore of Long Island so as a community we are fortunate to have many choices for our health care. Communication and a caring attitude are so important to me as this signifies the type of care that go into a surgeons hands, where the rubber hits the road, so to speak. For my first appt. I had to wait in the hallway due to Covid, the front desk secretary came out immeadiately to greet me and apologized for my having to sit in the hallway. She said as soon as I finished the paperwork I should be able to come in. I barely finished the first page and she came to check on me and not the paperwork. Very attentive and super polite. I finished the paperwork and out she comes to seat me in an exam room. Within a couple of minutes, in comes Dr. Pinkhas. Very caring demeanor and got right to the exam explaining every step of the way what I needed and how quickly I needed it. He explained how the davinci robotic surgery for my situation was the best and least invasive method and how the chances of reoccurrence were almost non existent, Because the hernia repair was going to be done by placing the patch beneath the abdominal muscles the davinci device was most effective. I am scheduled within 2 days for surgery. I am home from work and resting. I have not yet had the surgery, itll be tomorrow due to a medication I need to stop taking temporary. He has called me 3 times in the last 48 hours to check in on me and see how I was doing. Super kind Doctor. I will be recommending him to my family as well as blowing up my Facebook acct about him, lol. I've had quite a few issues over the last decade and have seen many Doctors, he is the most caring Doc I have met in my life so far.
