This is by far one of the worst campgrounds. RJourney advertises this place as "a premier campground. The weeds are out of control and there are prickly stickers everywhere, not good for dogs or little kids!! No amenities beside washer and dryer. We stayed here for Frontier Days and were charged almost $100.00 a day. A rip off. Because of this yearly event this property would be better taken care of. Stayed here one night while traveling west in our motorhome. We called ahead to make a reservation and requested a pull thru site since we were towing a car. When the confirmation came thru, it showed we reserved a back in site. Called back and was told all sites here are back ins and was offered a refund. We decided to take it anyway and were able to pull thru empty site behind us. Campground is pretty basic with some long term campers but has spacious sites with full hookups. It was a good value for the price, convenient, and relatively quiet considering it sits between I-80 and RR tracks. Bathrooms were clean and secure. Met some friendly travelers here too. Would stay here again if passing thru the area. read more

This resort is managed by the manager of the Cheyenne location, which is where I had major issues. I live full time in an RV. I made a reservation with the RJourney R V Resort in Cheyenne, WY for October 21, 2022 through January 15, 2023. I was planning to leave for warmer weather in January but I decided to stay close to my children and my grandchildren. I posted a request for places to park my RV on Facebook and the management at RJourney saw the request. They came to me and offered a "camp worker" employment option: I work 25 hours per week in the office/store and they would give me free lot rent. I told them that I have health issues and I didn't think that I could manage that. They needed people and persisted offering to work with me only afternoon hours. I finally agreed to their terms and applied for the position the first week of February 2023. I was told they would not charge me rent while waiting to be hired. They finally completed their hiring process on March 21. My daughter, who is staying with me was also planning to work for them for wages. I worked a two hour shift on March 24, 2023 and was exposed to cleaning products that caused me to go home and use an inhaler. After which, I got a bad cold. I was not able to work the following week and on Friday, I called the manager and explained that my health was interfering with my ability to work, as I had initially predicted. The manager got extremely upset and hung up. She then texted me offering to let me stay for free lot rent and still pay my daughter wages. So, if she would agree to work for them, we could stay and not pay lot rent. She asked to have my daughter contact her and I responded that my daughter had and interview and would contact her the following day. My daughter was planning to work two jobs to try to get back on her feet. Tammy, the manager, got extremely upset and told us to leave the park by the following day and that they would charge me for my metered electric. Within minutes of driving out of the park, they processed charges for 3 months of lot rent. I didn't owe rent. I have disputed the charges. I was perfectly honest with them about not being sure that I could work. They just didn't listen. There was another work camper that disappeared over night. I bet he had a similar issue. We were grateful to have a spot at Pine Bluffs RV Park. We were on the road and were able to make a last minute reservation. We came in pretty late and couldn't tell where we were going but it was worth it. The spot was spacious and had everything we needed. Although not a pull through spot were were able to unhitch the truck and pull forward just a little bit but didn't have to re-park because the spot was so long. When we woke up in the morning we realized how beautiful it was! Make sure to say hi to Lucky Cowboy Bob! Really cool place. Tony and Patty are very welcoming and made it as easy for us as possible knowing we were going to be arriving pretty late. The neighbors were also great! Grounds are a mixture of rock and green grass. Thank you Pine Bluffs. read more

If we could give it negative stars it would be NEGATIVE 5 stars!!! We called to make a last minute reservation as we were traveling. Called and were transferred to the Pine Bluffs office because the main number was not sure if there were sites available last minute. The Pine Bluffs lady said she would have to check if there were sites - placed on hold, a few minutes later she said there was one left but it would be $99 before Good Sam discount because of Frontier Days in Cheyenne (40 miles away). When we pulled in it looked like there were plenty of sites empty. We signed in and it came to $99 (no Good Sam discount) even though we were quoted. Were given site 96 and when we pulled into the site the gravel was full of weeds and not level - and there at least 6 sites near us that were vacant. 2 other RV'ers pulled in behind us and their sites too were full of weeds as well. I had to cut through weeds to find the electrical, water and sewer connections. The Wi-Fi code they gave us did not work and when I called them, I was told they didn't live on site and to go ask a person at another site for help. The only good thing is the electrical worked and we were able to turn our AC on. For $99, you would think it were a Premium site - you can even a Premium site at a nice KOA for that price. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RV PARK!!! read more

Me and my fiancé stayed from May-June . There is no management on site ever, if there are any issues it is very hard to get ahold of the management who is at the Cheyenne location, and nothing seems to get fixed very fast once you do. There are stickers everywhere that get stuck in your shoes and dogs paws. They advertise a dog run, playground, laundry room, store, propane, and tent sites but there are indeed no tent sites, no dog run, the playground is flipped over from the wind, when we arrived the dryers didn't work and half of the washers were broken, and of course there is no store or propane because no one is here. They told us to come to Cheyenne to get propane because their station here isn't even working, and they have no one to fill it, this was at 8pm and Cheyenne is 45 minutes away. Then management insisted they needed workers, to then not send out paperwork, schedules, or a procedure to clock in. They started getting snippy with my fiancé and threatening to take away out "privileges" and assume he isn't working because no one would contact him back! This is a small town and the RV Park/campground is run by the City of Pine Bluffs. We stayed here for just over 3 weeks while my husband worked in the area. I'll try to break it down to the good, the bad, and the ugly. The Good: The time of year we came in, we were able to get a reservation easily. There are full service 50 and 30 amp hook ups, plenty of room for a big RV (ours is 44'), you're not sitting on top of each other (room between sites), laundry on site (although only 1 dryer was working at the time), restrooms and showers which were clean, nothing in town is less than 5 minutes away, and most is within walking distance. The people in the park, fr the most part, stayed to themselves and most people staying there were working in the area so were long term. The Bad: The worst part about the whole experience was the stickers! The park was infested with goat head stickers/thorns and burrs. My two dogs were with us and I was constantly having to pull stickers out of their paws and our shoes and the stickers would end up in the RV. The second bad thing is that the park is close to the train tracks and there are trains constantly. Almost every night we would be woken up by trains blowing their horns, which I am aware is park of their job and safety, but I often thought they were being vindictive because at times they would lay on the horn for 30 seconds or more while traveling through town and usually at 1 or 2 in the morning. The Ugly: Our one bad experience was with a group of young guys that were staying in the park (working locally) that had been drinking and stayed up late, playing very loud music and getting a little rowdy. The "Ugly" was that there was no local patrol or police to intervene. Any late night calls go to the Sheriff in Cheyenne, which is 40+ miles away. That particular situation wasn't that bad, but had it been worse, it's a long wait for assistance. With all of that said, I would stay there again if we needed to. I would try and find a site with less stickers (not sure they exist) and hope the train was less noisy, but the town is nice, the price was very reasonable ($350/month or $30/night) and the people in the area were friendly. It would be nice if they'd do something to spray the goat head thorns, though. read more

Dreadful place! The camp sites were mud and rock with trashy campers that looked like they had been there for years. The facilities were dreadful. We drove through and were afraid to stay. We drove an additional 30 miles to Sidney, so we could stay somewhere else. read more
