In the month of October, they offer a haunted trail of approximately one mile, and a haunted house of approximately one barn. For some reason, they don't sell a combo ticket online and due to limits on how many you can buy in a transaction, may have to buy multiple. The haunted trail beings with being loaded into a cattle shute, where actors will occasionally try to scare those against the rails. The amount of people allowed released to the trail at a time did double as it became clear the line wasn't dying down. The spooky scenes are very well done, and the actors fantastic. They're spooky and committed to their roles. My only criticism is between the scenes it's really dark and hard to see what's on the forest floor below. The path is pretty clear, but one stray rock almost caused me to trip. That's when I decided to ignore the no cell phone request and put the light to the floor below me. (Maybe some discount Halloween lights or glowing pumpkins to light the way?)

It was so peaceful and calming and I truly felt like I had a handle on riding within the first 5 minutes. The horses are very well maintained and cared for and I will definitely be back and even if it's your first time this is the place to go.

Joy had been patient , she knows her horses and she knows who would do well on what horse, just by looking at you ! The horses are all nice. It's in her huge backyard, there is plenty of room to learn in her ring. She offers the best price on town , and I feel there's a little more effort into her lessons because these are her own animals! Joy will teach you the ins and outs . She knows everything, feeding, cleaning, brushing , riding.. "Those who can't do, teach" is NOT how you would describe her because she DOES know everything and also teaches you what she knows!!! Our horse was beautiful and very calm (all the animals seemed happy and were clearly very well taken care of). Our daughter had a change of heart at the last minute, so unfortunately she didn't spend much time riding...but she spent alot of time touring the grounds (they are relatively modest, but very pretty & very relaxing), and watching the older girls take their lessons. We were very impressed watching Regina give her lessons, you can tell she really knows the animals well and her students responded well to her instructions.
